~Auditions are officially starting next week~

Although half the class's phones buzzed, only a few checked what they had been sent.

Most already knew what the message would say. They had seen it before, gotten mysterious messages from an uncontactable number (that were almost all the identical phrase) many times.

If you had gotten a message, that meant you'd better be prepared for the auditions next week. You could be called in at anytime. It wasn't random, but it felt like it was for some unfortunate souls.

These auditions would make or break these students' chances in the biggest production of the year. Who would be the lead? Everyone had their private hopes and guesses. Many hoped it would be them. They had prepared themselves as much as they could. They knew who they were up against and could taste the intensity already.

No one who was participating was slacking off. Rehearsals and classes had gotten more and more heated each day it seemed. If you were even a little behind a classmate, it could be life or death.

Or at least, that's what some say.

So far, Class 124 of GOC had avoided any major injuries. Bruises, cuts, and scrapes were expected, but no one had suffered a major wound in their auditions. However they had all heard the tales...

People withdrawing from the school after they suffered permanent and life threatening wounds from the auditions becoming too desperate... the actors and actresses whose chances in the business had been ruined all in one night... blood scattered across the floor, far too much for either to continue a decent show... it might've been covered up from the public, but the secret body of students who knew about these things? They knew about it all.

Despite the purpose being to see who was the best performer, no one could guarantee your safety. It was an accepted fact. If you were too wimpy to get past that, you had no reason to even try to win. This competition was cutthroat, ruthless, and completely serious. You weren't getting anywhere by being silly.

But anyway...

Rules Time!

Be diverse! Not everyone is going to have the same experience, so try and come up with some interesting stories! Not everyone is going to be super happy all the time but not everyone is going to be an emo kiddo. Put some variety into your characters!

No Mary Sues/Gary Stus! I'm not going to accept someone who's amazing at everything, is super rich/super poor, is sweet but also sassy and stubborn, etc etc. Password One is your favorite instrument. Just make characters with flaws and weaknesses please!

Be respectful! I won't be tolerated any disrespect towards me, someone else involved in the book, or any of the characters created! You'll get three strikes and then... just like baseball, you're out.

This is my story! I get to decide what happens, but I will try to get input from you all. If you don't like where your character's story is going, please be tell me but try and be respectful. I'm not going to respond well to you telling me why everything I do sucks but I will understand if you want to discuss where something is going. Password Two is to tag three+ people who might be interested! But still, it's my story and things aren't always going to go well for your character. Please just stick around and enjoy the story :)

I have the right to decline forms! If I don't like a part of your form, I will probably ask you to change something or just not accept it. I have a story in mind and I want characters that will suit it best. Password Three is your favorite color hehe. Make who you want, but be warned they might not make it into the story as a main character!

Try to be active! It really motivates me to write if you vote and comment and acknowledge my existence hehe.

Please don't bother me to update! I will try my best to update as much as I can, but unfortunately I somehow still have a life during this pandemic. Schoolwork is draining and my family always needs something from me haha. I'll do my very best though!
