Even the newest and youngest students at Golden Oak Conservatory for the Performing Arts knew this statement as true.

If you didn't take the auditions at this school seriously, you weren't going to get anywhere.

Easy enough said, harder to actually do. But to get anywhere, you had to get hurt.

Beauty is pain. No pain no gain. Even the phrases said by normal, average people applied heavily here.

The best actors never tell their secrets.

Although it sounded odd to newbies, this statement was easily explained.

You don't just tell random people the secrets of the trade.

The Conservatory was hard to get into and what you learned there was almost sacred.

The foundation of the school were these three phrases, the unofficial motto if you will.

However...

Not many knew just how deep these statements really were. Most would never come to find out what they truly meant.

Here at Golden Oak, where auditions and roles are not taken lightly, you have to be the top or you're dropped.
