"So," Larissa said leaning her elbows onto the table, "Straight to mating - or sex, in a human term," She smiled sheepishly, "Okay so here's the thing. Just the concept of sex to sirens is very different to the human version. Humans are very casual; they'll have one-off partners, partners who they are in a casual relationship with as well as with those they are paired with- I mean married to,"

Thal nodded, thinking of Jungkook, "That's right,"

Larissa continued, "Sirens tend to be different... we only mate within our pair or with our true mate,"

"You mean that it's like.. after marriage?"

Larissa nodded, "Yeah. We mate once we are paired usually. I hear its a beautiful, wonderful feeling, even better than human sex, because it is so meaningful," She laughed a little, "Because you only do it with someone you love, I've never actually experienced it. I know how it's done, of course, but I've only ever had sex in human form,"

Thal gaped at her for a moment, "You've never...?"

The female shook her head, "Never. But it's not a big deal to us because there are more important things," She paused, "You want to know the method, though, right? Before I teach you about our culture,"

Thal felt herself flush and Larissa grinned, "Thinking about Taehyung, are you?"

She laughed when Thal's cheeks grew even redder, "Okay, so, basically... I mean, have you gotten to know your new body yet?"

Looking down at her golden tail, Thal shrugged, "I don't know I guess,"

"Well at the front of your tail, in the middle just below your hips there is a large scale,"

Thal once again looked down, a little surprised that she hadn't noticed the large almost heart/shaped scale.

"That scale protects the reproductive... area... of females," The red-head continued without a break, "Males have one too. Underneath is almost the same as human parts, so to mate... Well it's pretty much the same principle but as I said, I've never done it,"

"Oh," Thal smiled, "I'm a bit underwhelmed, I thought it'd be some complicated, weird thing,"

Larissa laughed, "Well that's simple, but Siren females have no way to birth a baby, so we have to go on land. Young are usually born at night for this reason, so humans don't see us. I guess it's why we have a human form. For safety and reproduction,"

Before Thal could say anything, Larissa clapped her hands together, "Okay, now onto the most important part of our culture in my opinion; courting and being paired,"

Hana was nervous as she went with Jin towards the palace. Both she and her mother had a guard with them holding their hands to help them swim and she was glad she was partnered with him.

Jungkook had declined the help at first, but since he couldn't stop himself from turning upside down, he had agreed to hold the hand of another guard as they made their way to the palace.

The whole ordeal was nerve wrecking for a number of reasons. One, she was deep under water and had a tail. Two, she was holding the hand of a smoking hot merman/siren, who was both a complete gentleman and an outrageous flirt.

The third reason was a very valid fear. Her mother had told them that the effects of the potion would wear off in forty eight hours and she didn't want to be however ridiculously deep they were now when it happened.

However, she had a waterproof watch with a high resistance to water that Jungkook had brought them all that had an alarm when they needed to start heading back to the surface.

The final reason for her concern was that she was about to see Thal again and she was worried about what condition they would find her in. Also she was a bit worried about the consequences of her punching her father and brother in the face. Because she was going to give them a piece of her mind regardless.

"Hana, we're here," Jin said, pulling her a little closer to him as an enormous white castle appeared in front of them, "You're safe with me, okay? And You're personal guests of the Queen, you cannot be touched,"

To ease her nervousness, Hana cleared her throat, "You're touching me right now," She joked.

Jin looked at her with serious eyes but a slight twitch in his lips, "I would gladly accept any punishment if I could hold onto you for just a little longer," He said, clearly enjoying how Hana blushed, "And I would die happy if I could touch you a little more?"

"Save the flirting for later," Jungkook snapped as he swam past them, a little wobbly, "I want to get Thal and go home as quickly as we can,"
