Thal felt a little awkward. It was as if her mother had been captured by the red-tailed males eyes as they just stared at each other, until another male cleared his throat, making her grateful to know that she wasn't the only one feeling a little embarrassed.

"I knew them reuniting would be a sight," The male said, "But I didn't think it would be this intense,"

"Namjoon," The male staring at Thal's mother didn't even look away as he addressed the siren who had spoken, "Can you clear the room,"

It wasn't a question, despite how it was phrased - even Thal could tell that - but as the one named Namjoon moved to obey, she shook her head.

"I'm not leaving my mum!"

The red tailed male finally tore his eyes away from Bee and looked at Thal, his eyes lingering on her tail, "Yes... You should stay,"

"I am also staying-" Taehyung moved to Thal but Bee spoke first.

"Just for a few moments, Taehyung," She said, "We need to talk,"

Taehyung looked at Thal, but it was Namjoon who spoke next, inserting his body in between Taehyung and the Siren family, "Your Queen told you to leave," He said roughly, "So, you leave,"

"I'm not the Queen," Bee straightened up, "I never wanted to be. I-"

"Jimin is the new Poseidon," Namjoon said, "And you are his true mate, which means you are the Queen,"

He began to firmly guide Taehyung to the door.

"Just a few minutes," Thal called to him. She did want to have him next to her, but she needed to address a few things with her mother before confronting Taehyung about the various issues she had with him.

Once the large hall was empty apart from the two adult sirens and her dead half-brother, Thal turned to look at her mother. The male had his hand on her shoulder, but she pushed in between them none too gently.

"Are you hurt?" She asked first. When Bee's eyes flickered to Yoongi, she felt her heart break from the pain her mother was feeling, but pushed it aside as she nodded.

"Good," She said, "Then explain what the fuck is going on!"

Bee was clearly startled by the yell, and Thal whirled around to face the male, glaring before he could say something, "This has nothing to do with you, so back up before I make you,"

Jimin raised an eyebrow but gracefully moved backwards, allowing her to talk to Bee.

"Thal," Bee's voice came out choked, "I can't ever apologise enough for keeping everything from you, I know I should have told you earlier but I was so afraid,"

"I get that the Poseidon guy and... Yoongi were scary, Mum," She said, "I know you wanted to protect me, but... there were things you should have told me!"

Fresh tears began to make their way down the blondes cheeks, "I know," She whispered, "I raised you to be so strong, but I was a coward. I was hiding us both away because I was just so afraid,"

"Your mother went through absolute hell-"

"Are you my mother?" Thal narrowed her eyes at the male, "No? Then don't answer for her,"

"Thal!" Bee wiped at her eyes, "Jimin just saved us both! He's just trying to... He's your father!"

Thal sighed, "I know you love him, Mum," She said, "But I don't know him. I'm grateful, but..." She let out a frustrated groan, "I'm just trying to process everything that's happened, I don't want some unknown man-"

"-Male," Jimin corrected, earning himself another dirty look.

"I don't want some unknown male butting in when he doesn't know me and doesn't understand how I'm feeling!"

There was a stretch of silence before Jimin laughed, "She's just like your father," He said, his handsome face softer with the smile, "She has his temper,"

Before Thal could snap at him, Jimin turned to her fully. He bowed a little, placing his hand over his heart, "You are correct," He said, "You don't know me and I never introduced myself. I am Jimin of the Astéri Tribe," He lifted his face, looking Thal directly in the eye, "However, you are wrong to assume that I know nothing of hardship. Just because it is different, doesn't mean I have suffered any less,"

He straightened up, but Bee spoke up.

"We are all overwhelmed," She said softly, "Maybe I can deal with my son, and then we can talk,"

She looked at Thal, "We have people waiting to hear from us at the surface,"

AN: I've had this half written for a while so sorry it's all over the place. I've had a very busy and very stressful week so wasn't able to finish it.
