"It's... It's not possible!" Bee's voice came out like a breath, her eyes wide, "I saw.. him,"

Hoseok tipped her chin up to face him, "Well my love, you were hysterical at the time and I must admit, they did look alike,"

Bee smacked his hands from her, "Do not touch me," She hissed at him, "I agreed to stay by your side, but I am not your mate,"

The Poseidon laughed loudly, "You seem to have grown a backbone, my precious one," The grin remained on his face but it didn't reach his eyes, "But you have forgotten that we were properly paired and mated. You, like all of my subjects, are my property-"

Hoseok's head snapped to the side as Bee smacked him with all her might. However, he was much stronger than her, and if he hadn't have bern caught off guard, he most likely wouldn't have even flinched.

"I was never yours, and I never will be!" She cried at him, "No matter what you do to me, you will never have my heart-" Her sentence cut off with a strangled gasp as Hoseok's hand closed around her throat.

"I think you've been away for too long," His voice was dangerously low, "You need to relearn your place,"

Thal fought in Taehyung's arms, trying to get to her mother, "Let go! We have to help her!"

"If I help her, I won't be able to protect you," Taehyung grunted as Thal's elbow landed in his stomach, but he kept his grip. He couldn't risk the Poseidon or the Prince from getting their hands on her.

"Thal, please," He moaned, "I can't let you get hurt!"

Taehyung suddenly stiffened when he felt something sharp against his spine. While he was distracted by Thal, Yoongi had moved behind him, pressing the tip of his sharp blade into the smooth skin.

"Let her go,"

"This is taking fucking forever!" Jungkook paced up and down the beach, "Can't you make some kind of potion to give me a tail or something?" He demanded of Daisy, who was sat cross legged on the sand with her eyes closed.

"I think being able to breathe underwater would be more important," She said blandly, "And no, I'm not making them for you,"

"Can't or won't?" Jungkook narrowed his eyes.

Daisy finally looked up at him, "Won't," She answered, "For a number of reasons," she held her hand up as Jungkook opened his mouth to argue, "One, those kind of potions and charms take a long time to make. Days, in fact. Two, you don't know your way around in the Siren's city and it's unlikely you'll even be able to swim adequately to reach them to start with,"

She narrowed her eyes, "Thirdly, you want to go for selfish reasons. Thalassa is not yours anymore, Jeon Jungkook, she has found her true mate. Let her go or lose your mind,"

Jungkook frowned, "Is that a threat?!"

"It is simply a fact," Daisy looked at her daughter, who was just staring intently into the water, "Hana?"

Hana didn't even look up and Daisy could tell that her pupils had grown, the black bleeding out to cover her entire eyes. Daisy contained a smile. Her daughter had finally found her powers.

"There will be death," Hana whispered, "And deep, deep sorrow. Deeper than the ocean,"

Daisy sighed. Hana's first vision and it was of death and sorrow.

"What a terrible time to discover yourself," She said, getting up to comfort her daughter, "I didn't want you to see negative visions yet,"

Before Taehyung could react, the huge white door to the throne room was thrown open so hard that it bounced against the wall.

The Poseidon turned around, anger on his face, "How dare you-!"

A male Siren with a glowing red tail was in the open door frame, with a few familiar faces behind him.

The sounds of fighting and screaming echoed through the room, no longer muffled by the closed door.

Nobody spoke - it was like everyone had frozen into place at the sight of the newcomers.

Until a loud, heart wrenching shriek shattered the calm.

"Jimin!"
