"Watch your mouth," Yoongi growled loudly as the Poseidon tensed, anger flashing across his handsome features.
"You watch your mouth!" Thal yelled, feeling childish but not wanting to let him talk to her mother like that, "You're nothing but a coward, hiding behind your daddy's title!"
Fury filled Yoongi's eyes, as well as something that Thal would never have thought to see from him. Uncertainty. Vulnerability.
He quickly recovered, however, and dragged her closer, lifting his hand and curling his fingers into a fist, "I warned you," He growled, bringing the fist towards her.
She caught a quick glance of panic on Taehyung's face as he reached for her, but turned back just as the fist came towards her face.
She squeezed her eyes shut, expecting pain, but feeling nothing. She heard a grunt of pain and opened her eyes.
Her mother was in front of her, her arms wrapped around Yoongi.
"I'm sorry," Bee whispered, "I shouldn't have left you with him but I was weak,"
Yoongi shoved away from her, but before he could reach for his knife, the Poseidon was in front of him, protecting Bee.
He backhanded Yoongi, snapping his head to the side on his neck and sending oily red blood splattering across the white floor.
"How dare you attack your Queen," His voice was low, dangerous.
Bee moved backwards, pressing into Thal until Taehyung pulled her daughter away, his arm moving her behind him.
Yoongi kept his gaze lowered but the hurt and anger was obvious in his eyes.
The Poseidon turned to Bee and reached for her, but she smacked his hands away, "Don't touch me!" She growled at him, "You don't ever get to touch me! I am here for Thal and we are leaving,"
As she backed away, Hoseok followed her, cutting off any exit until she was against the wall.
"Thalassa is not the name I wanted for a daughter," He said, grabbing her face in his large hand.
Bee stared at him defiantly, "It is the name Jimin wanted,"
"Ah, the peasant rapist," Hoseok leaned in closer to her, "Let's make a deal, shall we?"
Bee frowned at him, trying to pull his hand from her, "I won't make a deal with someone like you,"
"Not even if it means your precious Thalassa can go back to land?"
The Queen stopped moving, becoming so still that if it wasn't for her blinking she would have looked like she was sculpted from stone.
"What do you mean?" Her voice was quiet, mistrusting.
"I mean, my precious one," Hoseok relaxed his grip and stroked her cheek, "Thalassa can go free. She will no longer be our Princess, and can do as she wishes on land,"
Bee narrowed her eyes at him, "What's the catch?"
"No catch, my love," Hoseok smiled, "A deal. You stay with me in your rightful place and your daughter may leave. I guarantee her safe passage out of my kingdom,"
"You'll let her go?" Bee's breath came out harshly and the Poseidon grinned.
"She will be free and safe as long as you promise to stay by my side no matter what,"
Bee swallowed and closed her eyes, "I accept. I promise to stay by your side,"
The Poseidon grinned triumphantly and released Bee. He turned, the evil smile still on his face.
"Taehyung, my not so loyal soldier," He said when seeing his arms around Thal, "You are banished from my kingdom to land. Take the half-blood female with you, she isn't welcome here ever again,"
"What?!" Both Yoongi and Thal yelled at the same time.
"But Father, she is mine!"
"I will decide who is worthy of you, my son," Hoseok growled, "She is nothing but a common goldfish," He held his hand out without looking. As he expected, Bee slowly moved to him and took his hand in hers. Her face was hidden by her flowing hair, but there were hints of tear tracks as oil-like water escaped her eyes.
"I will provide you with a new bride,"
"No!" Thal tried to dash forward, but Taehyung caught her around the waist, horror even in his eyes, "No! Mum! Don't-"
"A deal is a deal," Hoseok growled, "Take her away before I change my mind and kill her,"
Taehyung could only think of Thal's safety as he began to pull her backwards. He could see pure rage in Yoongi's eyes as well as triumph on the face of the Poseidon.
"Ah, I forgot," Hoseok turned to look at Bee, a smirk on his face, "It seems like I was fooled. The 'Jimin' that I executed had a purple tail, not a red tail," He pulled Bee into his body as her eyes widened, "So unless you had multiple attackers, my beautiful one, your Jimin is still alive,"
