Yoongi closed the door behind them and finally let go of Thal's wrist.

The room they were in was large and elaborately decorated with pearls and gems, but she couldn't quite understand the different furniture.

She looked around fearfully, her hands clasped over her chest and Yoongi tutted loudly, "Relax already," He muttered, moving to a large stone slab that had some kind of cushioning on it - Thal guessed it was the bed.

"I'm not going to hurt you,"

"You already did," Thal snapped at him, "And you forced me from my home!"

Yoongi rolled his eyes and sank down onto the bed, "I saved you from a life of lies and a Mother who will just abandon you. I brought you to a palace where you will live in luxury and want for nothing as the future queen, some gratitude would be appropriate,"

Thal felt her fear turn into anger, "Consent is everything!" She yelled at him, "I don't want to be here! I don't want to be queen and I will not do something as disgusting as marrying my brother-"

With a powerful flick of his tail, Yoongi had Thal pinned to the wall, a slender hand wrapped around her neck.

"You have no idea what you are talking about,"

His voice was low and dangerous, sending shivers down Thal's spine. She struggled a little, but he squeezed his fingers just slightly, forcing her to stop.

"You grew up as a human, you have no right to pass judgement on our kind," He shifted his grip so his thumb dug into Thal's neck, just under her jawbone, "Our kind are dying and we need a strong royal line to save them. Mating me is not unnatural for us and if you continue to talk without knowledge, I will simply remove your tongue,"

With his free hand, Yoongi lifted a blade. Thal hadn't seen him pick it up and a tiny whimper escaped her lips.

He ran the blade gently down her face, "You do not need a tongue to mate or raise our young, after all,"

Thanks to Daisy's charm, Bee and Taehyung had made it through the town without being noticed. Just as they reached the front gate of the palace, however, Bee's tail returned to it's usual pearly glory.

The males guarding the entrance immediately recognised her and dropped their gazes, careful not to look at her.

"I have returned with the Queen," Taehyung declared, "Send someone to alert the Poseidon immediately,"

As the guards rushed to open the gates, Bee swam forward with her head held high. She had never stood up to the Poseidon, or even acted like a Queen before, but she was here on a mission.

She never wanted to be the Queen, but technically she was the mate of the Poseidon. She was the most powerful female in all of the seas. It was time she started acting like it.

Larissa was let into the cave without being stopped.

As there seemed to be a lot of males and females arming themselves, she headed straight to the meeting room towards the back of the cave system and was met by Namjoon.

"Larissa?" He raised an eyebrow when he saw her, "What do we owe the pleasure? You haven't been down here in years,"

"I need to see Jimin," She said, a little breathlessly, "I-"

"Listen," Namjoon sighed, "We are too busy for you to be messing about. He-"

"Don't interrupt me!" The redhead snapped angrily, "I'm not here to beg him for anything, I'm aware of who he wants and I know it isn't me,"

"Don't embarrass yourself," Namjoon replied, also irritated, "Last time was enough second hand humiliation for a lifetime-"

"Get out of my way," Larissa slipped past Namjoon and moved quickly into the room before he could stop her.

A guard from the palace was positioned inside the room, talking to the red tailed siren, and he turned to look at her, confusion on his face.

"I'm sorry, female, but we are in the middle of an important meeting. You should come back later-"

"Queen Vasilissa is back," Larissa said loudly, flushing a little as Jimin's gaze reached her, "She is on the way to the palace,"

Jimin's eyes widened and he straightened, a mass of emotions rushing across his face.

"We aren't fully prepared," He said, "But you never truly can be prepared for war," He looked over at the door, where Namjoon had come in, irritation on his face, "Tell everyone to get ready fast. We leave in half an hour,"

"Your Highness," One of the guards was nervously bowing in front of the throne, carefully keeping his eyes on the floor, "Queen Vasilissa has returned. She and Taehyung are at the gates,"

The Poseidon hummed, "I am well aware," He said, "The moment my beautiful beloved touched my water I knew she was here. Get the Prince and guard the throne room. Make sure that we are not disturbed by anyone,"
