Seokjin hadn't seen Jimin in a long time.
Even though they had grown up together, once Jimin's brother had taken the fall for him and been murdered, Jimin had isolated himself.
The only one who had really been allowed to see him was Namjoon, but Seokjin wasn't sure why.
Once he reached the cavern that Jimin was in, he could instantly tell why he had gone into hiding.
Jimin was in the middle of the dark room, his tail glowing red as it gently swished in the water, keeping him upright. His muscular upper body had a long scar that ran from his left collarbone all the way down to his right hip. His arms were scarred and when he met his eyes, he could see deep chasms of anger and heartbreak. Except, one of his eyes was different. There was a thin line through his eyebrow, finishing just under his eye. His almost white, unseeing eye.
"It's been a while," Jimin said calmly, "Thank you for your support over these past years,"
Seokjin couldn't help but stare, "What happened to you, Jimin?"
"You mean this?" The Siren gestured to his chest, "Punishment from the Blood King himself. Or..." He slowly lifted his hand and tapped under his white eye with one finger, "Do you mean this?"
Seokjin faltered, feeling fear for the first time.
"The Poseidon did this to me after murdering my brother," Jimin said, his voice factual with no hint of emotion, "A punishment because I wouldn't stop screaming as he took my dead brother's head from his shoulders,"
Seokjin gaped at his old friend. Everything about him was different. He was no longer the happy, innocent young male he once knew. No, this was the face of a killer.
"I appreciate you coming here to give us news face to face," Jimin said, idly fingering his knife, "But you've risked exposing us now, and we aren't ready for the coup yet. You'll have to stay, which means that we have lost our only palace informant-"
"Prince Yoongi has brought the Princess to the palace," Seokjin interrupted him, "Which means Queen Vasilissa will be coming soon,"
Jimin froze, lifting his eyes to Seokjin, "The Princess was captured?"
Seokjin nodded, "And there's something else,"
"What?"
"Her tail isn't silver. It's golden. The Poseidon isn't her father,"
Jimin dropped his knife.

It was getting dark as Bee reached the beach with everyone following her.
There were very few people around and Taehyung took the lead, directing the group to a small rocky area that went out into the ocean.
Bee and Taehyung immediately began to strip and Jungkook yelped, spinning around so his back was to Thal's mother.
"Why are you taking your clothes off?!" He cried, looking to Hana for help. Hana, however, was watching Taehyung with wide eyes, a flush on her cheeks.
Larissa moved in between Jungkook and Bee, also pulling her clothes off, "We need to be quick," She said, "But I can't go with you. I'll find another way in,"
"I don't get what's going on!" Jungkook yelled, "Someone explain!"
"Bee, here," Daisy ignored Jungkook and reached out to Bee, running her thumb across her forehead and muttering. When she pulled away, she looked grim.
"The charm will last long enough for you to get close to the palace. When you get there, it will wear off and your scales will go back to their natural state,"
"Thank you,"
Bee took a deep breath, "I'll be back soon,"
She turned and sprinted along the rocks before diving gracefully into the water. Taehyung quickly followed her, with Larissa right behind him.
A moment later, Bee resurfaced, looking refreshed despite her urgency.
"We will be back soon," She said to Daisy. She hesitated before speaking again, "We may need injuries tended to,"
"I will watch over her while you look," Daisy replied, "Good luck,"
Bee emerged a little higher out of the water before diving in again, flashing a glimpse of her now muddy coloured fins.
"Wow," Hana breathed, "I was right,"
Jungkook was just gaping at the ocean, staring at where Bee had previously been.
"About what?" Daisy asked, sitting down on the rock and taking off her backpack.
"I did a tarot reading on Thal before," Hana replied, "I drew four cards and only told her three. The fourth card was a mermaid and was related to her past, present and future,"
Daisy smiled, "You're getting good at this. Although, technically they aren't mermaids. They are Sirens,"
"Sirens?!" Jungkook cried, "What the fuck is going on?! I need to sit down, I feel faint... Thal isn't human?!"
"She is not," Daisy said softly, "But you should be grateful that you are human right now," She gazed over the water, "There is a war brewing in the deep,"
