"So," Larissa said, leaning over her counter with a glass of half finished wine in her hand, "Tell me about the Princess,"

Taehyung had found her in her apartment above the shop once he had taken Thal home and made sure she was safely inside. The red head was clearly shaken up but was pretending to be fine, so he had poured her a glass of rosé... and then another... and then one more.

She had cheered up, but was obviously intoxicated.

Taehyung shrugged, "What do you want to know?"

"Is her tail as beautiful as the Queens?" Larissa asked, "I heard so many stories,"

There was a pause before he answered, "Her tail is not as beautiful," He said, "It is more beautiful. Her tail is like... a phoenix; golden yet red and white all at once,"

Larissa raised an eyebrow, "That beautiful huh? What about the rest of her?"

"Gorgeous," He breathed, staring at Larissa's glass, "The most stunning female I have ever seen,"

"I see. What about how she feels?"

"She feels like home,"

"I knew it!" Larissa cried, slamming her glass onto the table and sloshing the pink liquid everywhere, "You like her!"

"I don't," Taehyung snapped quickly, tossing a cloth at her, "She just feels familiar, that's all. I'm only getting close to her to get her to come into the ocean. I need to lure Queen Vasilissa back,"

"Huh, sure, right," Larissa sloppily cleaned up the spilt wine and stepped into his space, grabbing his shirt and yanking him down so their lips met.

She kissed him ferociously as she slid her hands up under his shirt to feel the smooth ridges of his muscles.

"Hey," She said as he moved back a little, "Let's have sex,"

Taehyung looked down at her and gently took her hands from him. He shook his head.

She stepped back, "There. I knew it. You're attracted to her.. You said she felt like home?"

Taehyung opened his mouth, "I-... I..."

"She's your true pair," Larissa said gently, "She's your mate. That's why she feels like home to you,"

"I- no, no she's not," He argued, "She can't be, she's royalty,"

Larissa shrugged, "It doesn't matter. I bet she feels the same about you. That's what happens when you find your true pair," She smiled and picked up her glass, "You know, I heard that the Poseidon killed the Queen's true pair. Apparently he was a male from her tribe with glowing red scales,"

Taehyung's eyes widened, "Thal's real father!"

"Shit, shit, fuck fuckedy fuck a duck, prick, son of an elephants ballsack!"

Bee was muttering all the curse words she knew as she rushed along the pavement, digging around her bag. Her som had found her which meant that Hoseok wouldn't be far behind.

Thal was in danger and she would do anything to protect her daughter.

First, she would tell her everything. She had always wanted to tell Thal the truth, but was too scared that she'd get curious or rebellious and go to the ocean to check for herself. Plus, if she never transformed, she would never experience the horrific withdrawals.

She would also be able to move away from the ocean.

Next, she had to find somewhere safe to stay temporarily. She also had to rethink her jobs - which was unfortunate.

Luckily for her, however, Bee had met a witch while she was in the home and due to some sort of luck (or magic) the witches daughter and Thal had become best friends.

Finally pulling her phone out of her bag, Bee scrolled through until she found the number she was looking for. She hadn't spoken to this witch in years and had since gotten a new number, but she had to take the chance.

The phone was picked up on the first ring.

"Hello, Bee," The voice said gently, "I've been wondering when I was going to get this call, and the answer is yes, I know what you are and yes, I will help. You and Thalassa are more than welcome to stay here with me and Hana until you get things sorted. I promise you will be safe,"

Bee felt tears bloom in her eyes. She hadn't spoken a single word and Daisy already knew everything.

"Thank you," She whispered.

"Don't waste time thanking me," Daisy replied, "Go and pack and bring your daughter to our home,"
