Bee whimpered as she was thrown into the wall, a large hand around her throat pinning her to the stone.

"You thought I didn't know, my Queen?" The Poseidon was burning with rage - and in Bee's eyes, it was justified.

"Hoseok, I'm sorry-"

The Poseidon let her go and scoffed, "Sorry? After all that I have done for you? That's all you have to say?"

"I know I was wrong," Bee sobbed, "I'm sorry,"

Hoseok leaned in close, his eyes fiery, "This young will be paired with my son," He said, his voice low, "As she is not my daughter by blood, the young she produces for the future Poseidon will be strong,"

He reached out, gently laying his hand on Bee's collarbones, "And you, my love, will have to learn that my patience and tolerance for you has it's limits," He ripped the necklace from her throat, crushing it in his fist, "I called you by the name he gave you because that is what you wanted. I allowed you to pine over him and spend time alone and not by my sode as you were expected to be,"

He moved back, "I gave you freedom and anything you asked for under the water, and you betray me. Well," He smiled then, a terrifying cold lift to his lips as his dark eyes glinted, "I will show you why they call me the Blood King of the Ocean. You must be punished for your disloyalty, my precious one. You will have to learn that you are mine,"

Thal narrowed her eyes at the young man standing at her door, "I'm not going anywhere with you,"

Taehyung sighed, "Please come with me. I swear I will not take you to your father or brother,"

"Fine," Thal replied, "Let me get my shoes on,"

Taehyung's face lit up and she almost felt bad for him as she stepped back and closed the door, sliding the lock into place.

But really, did he think she was that naive?

It took him a moment to realise that she wasn't coming back out. He knocked on the door a few times but obviously gave up after getting no response.

Thal stretched out on her sofa, her mind reeling.

She didn't want to believe anything that this person was saying to her, but she couldn't help fixating on the fact that she had a brother and that her mother wasn't human. She chuckled to herself.

"Yeah, right,"

After a moment, Thal jumped to her feet and grabbed her shoes before rushing to the front door. Taehyung was stood leaning against the opposite wall and surprise showed on his face when she stepped out.

"I have my phone ready to call the police," She said, "You do anything suspicious, I'm calling for help,"

Hoseok had been gone for hours. Bee had been locked in their shared bedroom with guards posted outside the door and window, so she could do nothing but move around the room working of her anxious energy.

When the door opened and she heard the sounds of the Poseidon dismissing the guards, Bee didn't know what to expect.

Would he still be angry? Was he here to kill her?

It definitely wasn't the Poseidon coming into the room with scales and chest stained with blood. His entire body had a red tinge, as if he had swum through a blood cloud and not bothered to clean himself off. In one hand he held an equally blood stained sword, and the other, a bag made from the kelp on the palace grounds.

He came towards her and Bee's eyes widened in fear. She couldn't help but back away from him. Tears were already falling from her eyes and her hand went protectively to her slightly rounded stomach.

He stopped on the other side of the low table and threw the sword down with a loud clatter. Next, he loosened the top of the bag and threw that down too.

The bag slowly fluttered down, revealing the most horrific sight she had ever seen.

Thick brown hair and tanned skin, and a beautiful face frozen in a grimace of terror.

The head of her true love.

Bee opened her mouth and screamed, quickly going into hysterics. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't see, she could do nothing but scream and sob brokenly.

Hoseok reached out and grabbed her roughly by her wrists, pulling her struggling body into his.

"You are mine, Vasilissa, for now and forever," He hissed, "If you ever betray me again, I won't be so lenient. That bag will contain your entire family and I will add yours to the collection once you have witnessed the death of each one,"

He let her go and Bee sunk to the floor, her face in her hands as sobs wracked through her body.

She vaguely noticed a guard entering the room to take the bag and sword away, and Hoseok vanished for a while.

When he came back he was clean of blood and he pulled her to their bed, before promptly falling asleep.
