Thal didn't trust Taehyung, but she would be lying if she said she wasn't intrigued by everything he had told her.

"Okay," She said, "Let's pretend that you aren't lying. What is my brothers name?"

"Our prince is names Yoongi," Taehyung said, "He has dark hair, almost black, with dark eyes and pale skin. When in human form, he is a little shorter than myself,"

Human form. Thal scoffed, "Yeah, sure. And my father is some sort of King?"

More like King pin.

"He is not a King," Taehyung said, "He is the Poseidon. The ruler of all the oceans,"

"Uh huh," Thal said, "Well, it was fun while it lasted-"

"Queen Vasilissa stole you away from us before you were even born," Taehyung interrupted somewhat desperate, "Your people were rejoicing at the arrival of their Princess, but the Queen stole you from your family before they could meet you,"

"First off, my mothers name is Bee, not whatever you keep calling her. She is not a Queen and she is human,"

"Let me prove it," Taehyung said softly, "I promise I won't take you anywhere against your will, just let me prove who you- who we are,"

Thal raised an eyebrow, "And how are you going to do that?"

"We will need to go to the ocean,"

Bee had left Yoongi in the care of his nurse as she took her usual evening swim around the palace grounds.

The Poseidon had grown bored of showering her with gifts and affection for the sake of the people and just left her to her own devices; providing that she would go to him as soon as he called for her.

She loved her son with all her heart, but she could see that he was much like his father. He was cruel to the staff, no matter how much she tried to teach him to be kind. He was only five, yet had been given a ceremonial knife by his father that he had used to "punish" servants on more than one occasion.

He was demanding and jealous with her, just as his father was, and she was feeling suffocated every single day.

All she could think about was her love, the one that she had been forced to leave behind. She had found her true pair but had been ripped away by the selfishness of the Blood King of the ocean.

Bee's pearl fins swayed gently through the water as she moved along the wall. The stationed guards immediately lowered their gaze when they saw her and she quickly moved past them and into the kelp forest that she had come to think of as her safe-haven.

The kelp was used for meals in the palace, but as it grew long and thing incredibly fast, only the outside plants were used. Therefore, Bee had privacy and solitude within the centre of the forest.

Tonight, however, was different.

As she moved through the green waves of the kelp, she noticed a siren sat in the centre. A siren with thick brown hair and glowing red scales.

A siren who she had not seen in years.

Tears sprung to her eyes as the male lifted his head and pushed himself up from the floor.

"My lovely Bee," His voice was quiet as he opened his arms, "I missed you so much,"

Bee lay cradled in Jimins arms. She had been with him for an hour already, and they had not done much talking.

"I'm sorry it took me so long," Jimin said, running his fingers through her blonde hair, "I couldn't get into the palace and I couldn't challenge the Poseidon. I have a friend on the inside who told me you come here and I knew that was how to find you,"

She lifted her chin to look at him, sadness in her eyes, "Jimin, I love you, but we can't do this again. He will kill you and your entire family if he knew!"

Jimin kissed her and untangled his tail from hers, "My love, I-"

Bee shook her head firmly and pushed away from him, "No," Although firm, her voice cracked as her heart broke again, "No, I won't see you again. You should pair with another female, I cannot be with you,"

She turned tail and swam away, her fingers gripping the necklace he had made her all those years before. What she had done was stupid and dangerous and she wouldn't risk him ever again.

"Do you honestly think I'm stupid?" Thal said, narrowing her eyes at Taehyung, "You think I'm going to follow you to the one place my Mother told me to stay away from?"

Taehyung frowned, "Of course I don't," He replied, "I would never disrespect you, Princess. I just want to show you some proof,"

"Don't call me that," Thal snapped, "And I'm not going to the ocean, period,"

Taehyung chewed on his lip a little and nodded, "I understand. How about we go to my friends clothes shop instead, then?" He suggested, "Larissa has something that will enable me to give you proof without ever going to the beach,"
