The locker room door was locked,just as always.My friends Levi(Maria) and my other friend Mikisa(Daynika) were leaning against the wall of the hallway along with me.I look to my left to see Engie talking with her friends.Her extra curly dirty blonde hair and brown eyes shining bright.Engie had no worries in life,her making a mistake everyone doesn't care.When I make one there eyes of evil pin on me.Coach Durman's little sweetheart."Here you are!"Said one of the softball coaches as she unlocked the locker room door.We have five minutes to get ready,today was Tuesday.Weight Room day.

After exiting the locker room and seeing everyone loading onto the bus I grew weary."Were are we going?"I ask them."Track."Said Day.I widen my eyes,in shock and disbelief."Oh no."

We arrive at the track.Lining up on the 0 yard line."Alright,one mile in less than six minutes,Ready.Go!"The coach said starting the stop watch.I try to keep up,already dizzy and breathing heavy.My world was spinning,I stumble and fall on my hands and knees.A black hole appearing beneath me.I fall but catch the rim of the hole."Savannah!"Yelled Engie.She grabbed my hand.Why would she do this?Her hand gripped my wrist."Hold on."She said voice tight."Coach!Coach!"She yelled out.Her arm was shaking terribly."Engie let me go."I mutter."No,I won't."She said stern.I feel around my hip and withdraw my knife.Only used if I needed to put me out of my misery,if need be."Engie I'm not playing here.Let me go or I will do it."I state stern back holding the blade above her arm.Something was slithering up my shirt,wrapping around me tight,were I couldn't breath."No I Won't!"She yelled back.My leg and body are yanked.I drop the knife."Engie,let me go,I'm not worth dying over."I state calmer.She looks at me with sweat beads on her face.Hesitation in her eyes."Savannah,Engie!"Yelled Coach.The thing that had me wrapped came out from my sleeve and quickly wrapped Engie's wrist.It was shadow.It tugged us in.All I could see and feel was darkness
