*Still 9 years ago*
"So, (Y/N), how's Bradley?" Dana smirked, nudging my arm.
"He's fine." I laughed.
"Are you really still with Bradley?" Ethan asked, surprised.
"Yeah. Why?" I asked confused.
"We-" He started.
"Ethan. Don't." Dana warned.
"But she has to know!" Ethan blurted out.
"I have to know what, Ethan?" I questioned.
We were at a stop light, so Dana turned around to her brother. He was in the backseat and Dana was in the front, so she kind of had to turn around to see him.
"Ethan. I swear, if you tell he-" I cut her off.
"DANA!"
A car hit us. The car flipped over twice before stopping on it's side. Once it fully stopped, I looked around to see Dana passed out and Ethan frantically trying to get out of his seatbelt to see if his sister was okay. I heard sirens in the background.
That was all I saw before my vision went blurry, then turned to black.
*Present Day*
"They took us to the hospital, Ethan being the only one awake. Since we were in the front and he was in the back, and the car hit us from the front, he wasn't as badly injured as Dana and I. He did, however, get cut by the glass that broke on impact. Although, that was nothing compared to us. I had a minor concussion and I still, to this day, have scars from the glass. Dana on the other hand..." My voice started getting shaky.
"Go on." Jack encouraged me like I was a three year old afraid of swimming.
"Dana on the other hand," I repeated, my voice stronger, "had become paralyzed from the waist down. I haven't seen her in a while, but I still remember the last time I saw her. She was in a wheelchair and I could barely look at her. When I was here, today, and I saw Ethan, all those memories came back. I just couldn't look at him."
"Wow. That's a story, but you're alright now. And you saw Ethan, he's fine, too. I'm almost positive that Dana would be okay by now. Maybe still in a wheelchair, but alright nonetheless." He looked at me and smiled.
"Thanks for listening, Jack, but you didn't have to waste your time with me." I replied, upset at myself for making him stay out here with me.
"No, no! I'm okay with this! I kind of thought it was nice spending some time with you." He blushed.
'Okay, this time, I can't say that he isn't blushing.' I thought, laughing at Jack's face.
"What?" He asked, looking at me with disbelief.
"You're adorable" I accidentally blurted out, before acovering my mouth.
Now it was his turn to laugh.
"Let's go inside!" I ran inside, feeling my face become warm.
"Who's beet-man now?" Marco asked, when I got inside.
Then, Alexis came over, kissing Marco on the cheek. His face turned red again.
"Still you, Marco, still you." I laughed.
