I stood in shock in the living room I recognized that cop from somewhere I just couldn't put my finger on it.

"I know you from somewhere...." I said.

Jacob sighed in relief. "Come on let's go." He grabbed my arm.

"What's going on?" I asked ripping my arm out of his grip.

Tessa walked up from behind me and grabbed my arm. "Just go with Jacob."

"No!" I yelled backing away. "What are you hiding from me Jacob!?"

"I just can't believe you, my only daughter would go to a party and drink." My mother said glancing at me.

"Sorry mom just Emma-"

"Oh Emma's the one who forced you to do this huh?" 

"Mom! Watch out!"

  All I heard was a long honk then the car crashed making me lurch forward.

"Mom!? Mom!?" I said looking at my mothers lifeless body.

"Are you alright!?" A voice said from the window.

I looked over to see a twelve or thirteen year old girl with short black hair.

"My-My-My mom!" I stuttered. "Get help!"

"Don't worry my mom's calling it in don't worry." She said opening the car door and helping me out.

A fourteen to fifteen year old boy stood there. His dark hair was long and at his shoulders. A woman in a cop uniform came running talking on her phone. After a second she turned it off and ran over to me.

"Darling are you alright?" She asked.

"I'm fine but get my mom some help!" I yelled.

A drunk man came out of the other car. The cop ran over and handcuffed in.

"I can smell the alcohol on your breath." She said.

Not long after the ambulance came to take me to the hospital.

"No i'm fine just help my mom!" I cried to them.

The woman cop came from behind. "Honey you need to go to the hospital."

"Will my mom be there?" I asked.

My fathers car zoomed into the scene he got out and ran over to me.

"Nat? are you OK?" He asked.

"Where's my mom?" I sobbed.

"Sir we pronounced her dead." She whispered to my father.

"Dead!? " I screamed. "No no no no!"

The boy who I saw earlier grabbed me by the arm. "Go with them" He said.

I felt something about him. I sniffed and nodded wishing I could see his face under his long hair. My father helped me into the ambulance with tears in his eyes.

"Toby's going to meet us at the hospital." My father said as we started to drive.

A doctor confirmed that I broke my arm but I didn't care my mother was dead.

   I sat in the hospital bed with Katelin by my side. She was the only one who didn't drink. Emma yelled at her for it but Katelin was still responsible.

"Everything's going to be OK." She whispered.

"It's you." I said pointing at her. "All of you saved my life."

"Nat..." Jacob began.

"Why did you keep it a secret!? Jacob how could you!?"

"I didn't want you to remind you of your mom.." He said.

"Thank you!" I exclaimed running into the woman's arms. "Thank you for saving my life."

"You're welcome darling.." She whispered.

"And you!" I said turning to Jacob. "don't even talk to me!"

I got in my car and drove off.

I came home in tears. "What's wrong?" Katherine asks while Cutie Pie barks at me.

"Jacobs mom is the one who save my life.."

Katherine didn't get it but my father did/ He came out and hugged me.

"Everything's OK princess." He whispered.
