Peppy  reached onto a shelf in his room and took out a small box  she brushed off the dust and opened it. Inside lay a hug time bracelet . Peppy picked up the bracelet and  smiled sadly as he remembered who the hug time bracelet had belonged to. 

Peppy shook his head. No he must not think about it. He took a deep breath and let out a breath. This was a special day he reminded himself. This was the day he gave poppy her hug time watch. She was old enough to wear it.  With that, he gently placed the hug time watch in his hair and went to his daughter's room. Inside, poppy was working on a puzzle, humming happily, when out of the corner of her eye, she saw her father and smiled.

"Hi daddy." She said, seeing her father.

Peppy smiled at his daughter. And he gently sat next to the 4 year old.

"Poppy now that you are 4 years old I decided that it's time you started wearing a hug time bracelet .

With that Peppy took the hug time bracelet out of his hair and placed it on poppy's wrist..

Poppy gasped happily. "Daddy, this is beautiful. Thank you." She looked at her bracelet, At that moment poppy and peppy's hug time bracelets both chimed and the flower on their bracelets blossomed.

"Hug time." Peppy said.

Poppy's eyes lit up and she hugged her father happily.

Peppy smiled and hugged his daughter back. 

When the hug ended, poppy looked down a bit sadly.

"What's wrong poppy?" peppy asked concernedly.

Poppy sighed. "I'm just a bit sad the hug is over daddy."

Peppy understood how his daughter felt, all trolls enjoyed hugs and waiting every hour for the next hug.

"I wish we could hug every half hour." poppy said wishfully.

"Me too but then we wouldn't have a lot of time for singing and dancing." peppy said.

"You're right." poppy said standing up. 

"Poppy do you know why  we have hug time?" peppy asked

poppy giggled. "Dad you told me when i was 3 remember?"

peppy chuckled. "Just checking to see if you remember my little princess." he said as he began to tickle poppy who giggled happily.
