(Based on the theory of chapter 2 where the Poppy doll the player rescues at the end isn't the real one.)

(Hope you enjoy.)

She had been trapped in these webs for so long.

Whywhywhywhywhywhywhy?-

They stuck to her limbs, aged with time and dried up to the point where they clung and she couldn't even flex her fingers. Mommy trapping her in here for simply walking onto her territory awoke a memory the doll didn't even know existed.

"Listen, I'm going to need you to trust me-...AGGGGGHHHH-"

An elongated arm raising in the air, snatching up her predecessor and dragging her through the darkness and into her arms. They had around five minutes before the human bothered to arrive.

"Poppy, my little one! You really thought we were going to let you go? He hates seeing his siblings rebel against him."

Mommy chided her with false sweetness. Underneath the charm was a threat of worse imprisonment than the cage case she had been placed in. Sleeping within her body and unable to her body. She had been awake all along. Everybody simply throwing that she had received the royal treatment.

None of them knew the real truth.

The doll gasped as the headache struck once again. It was as if something was trying to prevent her from receiving these memories. Pretty impossible considering they were all connected with one mind. It meant her mistress other counterpart was reaching out and trying to communicate.

HelpmeHelpmeHelpmeHelpmeHelpmeHelpmeHelpmeHelpmeHelpmeHelpme-

Due to recent events, she never bothered with false hope of hearing another voice. A piece of paper was attached to the web entangling her limbs. Some kind of code for the human daring to enter Mommy's domain. The shrieks and yelling of Mommy on one of her tantrums really struck out. She would probably punish Bunzo and the rest of the toys. She never bothered to learn their names. What would be the point of you were never going to meet?

Ithurtsithurtsithurtsithurtsithurtsithurts-

It may have sounded heartless, but in her situation, you'd develop a stone heart as well. The toys used the name for when someone gave into their inner demons and walked around the factory determined to kill either themselves or others unlucky enough to get in their way. As the humans said, it was a shit show.

I need to get out of here.

She couldn't tell if her thoughts were mixing with hers. Her predecessor. The perfect experiment as the people in the white coats described Poppy. More perfect than the rest which were chucked away and sold as cheap. She was kept with a few dolls to be tested for further improvements on the brand and toy-line. It irked her mind just to even think of that plasticky, fake persona. At least she and the other expressed themselves. The mascots fooled everybody. Even the humans. And thanks to their performance, they were killed as a result of their blind trust and foolish naivety.

"YOU'LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM!"

Her voice echoed through the Game station. Mommy sounded like she was in pain. Not ready to receive the consequences of her actions. Even trapped in here, the little doll knew of Huggy's untimely demise. She felt sorry for the mascot. He had only been following his protocol. The human just happened to beat him at his own game. Mommy chased down the human and lost at hide and seek.

Game over.

She found the human, but they evaded her from the start until the end. Dodged through her attacks and sneaky trips through the lower levels. The doll was surprised that none of her children used the element of surprise. Though Mommy could have escaped-

Pat. Pat. Pat. Pact.

Footsteps.

Bang. Bang. Whoosh.

A door swinging open.

Bum. Bum. Bum. Bum.

The racing heart of the human foolish enough to be rescuing her. They were covered by a hoodie, saggy pants, and other assortments of clothing that prevented her from seeing their face. Their eyes shining with the hope of rescuing Poppy. A splurge of jealousy erupted within her chest.

She doesn't deserve them.

Poppy was weak. Poppy allowed herself to be captured. Poppy lost hope within minutes and refused any direct contact with her when she attempted to reach the other doll. She had never claimed someone, but she decided this human would be hers and hers alone. They looked like they needed the guidance and experience of someone who knew what they were doing.

They're helping me?

The human pressed on the buttons of the grabpack thing, letting loose the hands which ripped the web to shreds. The doll nearly let her tears flow down when she felt herself nearly fall. It didn't matter. She could move. She had control of her body.

Am I...free?

Her old doll instincts begged her to let them know that she was thankful. But there wasn't time for any gratefulness. Other matters needed to be tended too. Starting with the asking right question.

"Did you kill her?"

The human nodded in response. They were silent, no reply leaving their mouth. She deduced them to someone who preferred actions over words. Half of the toys in this factory weren't able to speak. She could forgive them for their apparent loss of speech.

"Good. I'll board the train. We need to leave."

She turned to the vent. It was dark, empty. Like half of the souls within these toys. Her more human self took control, turning her body toward the confused human and spilling the most embarrassing words from her mouth.

"Can I please come with you? I don't like the dark."

The human seemed perplexed, but shrugged as they gave in to her strange look before gently picking her up and placing her on their shoulders. She hid a smile from their sight. It was so easy to fool this one. She had chosen a naive subject-

"Are you coming to free me?"

That voice. Her voice. It came from the higher level. The ex-employee immediately turned around thinking that they heard the same thing. The doll growled under her breath. This wouldn't do. It needed to go as planned. She wouldn't get in her way. Not again.

This time, things were going to be much different.

She put on a charming smile. As her predecessors said before, you just had to turn on the charm and nothing would be impossible. For a Poppy doll at least. Other toys would have been damned for the deeds they committed.

"I didn't hear anything. It must have been another toy trying to deceive us."

The human seemingly accepted that excuse. They were content with exiting her prison the head office of the game station to head to the train. Further and further away from the real Poppy and her naivety. She wouldn't have been good to the human.

Wait, Please! You were trapped too!

I know.

Then why are you leaving me?!

She finally heard banging from nearby vent. Unfortunately, Poppy had forgotten an important detail.

It's every toy for themselves.

Besides, everybody voted against freeing her from her case. Inciting that it was her fault for their eternal damnation. Some toys really believed in the devil and what the humans called karma. The toys were monsters and this is what they apparently deserved. It didn't mean that they had to like their punishment.

"Thank you for saving me, human."

They spoke that time, mumbling something of a 'You're welcome, Poppy.' The same jealousy and rage boiled and she couldn't control her little slip up.

"Rose."

They paused, their head turning and eyes making contact with her own.

"My name is Rose."

It was too late to save the real Poppy anyway. And they didn't seem to care if she was fake or real. Mumbling an apology, she let them go on until they reached the train itself. Their ticket out of this hellhole.

She had an alternate plan in mind. Why waste their potential of simply leaving they could fix everything? This human was capable of killing both mascots and toys alike. They were charming, elusive, silent, and obliviously obedient. The humans Rose had worked with ever listened. Now, she was with someone who could save them all. Including the toys she missed and held close.

I'll see you all again, I promise.

The human entered the code, the train engine was activated and they were officially away from this horrific factory. At least the human had that train of thought. The little doll above was planning otherwise. She felt slightly bad for what she about to do, but her intentions and instincts overpowered the guilt and she ended up going through with her final decision.

"I was so scared she'd put me in that case again, but you saved me. You're perfect, too perfect to lose. I'm sorry, I can't let you leave."

The human didn't even verbally object as she changed the direction of the train. The little allowed a little affection to sprinkle into her voice for this new companion of hers. Poppy's memories were mixed with her own, but she was able to separate them enough to see what happened before their fateful meeting.

"I've never met anyone like you. You know how long she...I was stuck in that case. Well, TOO LONG. I had so much time to think and reflect. Time to figure out exactly what I would do when free. I can finally fix them. Terrible things have happened."

The doll sighed as the train started to become unstable. Speeding down the tracks. The human was listening and it was something she appreciated. Her own memories of the toys she dared to call friends meshed with Poppy's of isolation and loneliness. She was almost unable to discern her own reality from Poppy's. But she had something that Poppy cherished. A human that would be very useful.

"But I know whatever I need you to do. You're capable."

She wasn't a hero, but she also wasn't a villain. All the little doll desired was to see the ones she held close. For this factory to have some good toys. For the corruption to stop spreading with someone getting rid of the terrors and start spreading a topic no toy had ever been given. A sense of hope.

I have someone who can kill two birds with one stone. They'll help me, and I'll help them. Using each other and the results will be very satisfying.

And together, they would set things right.
