((Chapter 7: Danger In The School))

Opening the door, Molly and Blake shuddered as they entered the school, the doors closing behind them.
Molly was silent as she noted the torn up halls, the blood amd tables, chairs turned up.
Blake shuddered,"It reminds me of school drills. . . Putting desks and chairs up as a defence. . . Something bad happened.", Molly nods, praying for those that were hurt or worse.
"Let's stick together, absolutely no splitting up."
Molly nods.
As they walked together, looking inside classrooms for maybe a phone that works, some medkits just in case or find something that could tell them what happened here, or what the employee warned them of.
"Molly. . . Here."
Molly walked to Blake, a classroom and he pointed to the old desk, approaching it they found a bed; A mattress, pillow, blanket and a horrible smell of blood, mold and ants.
"Someone was living here. . ."
Blake nods, then found a note, he pulled it out of the piano and held it to the flickering light.
"Some of it's torn in half. . . Uh."

". . . The Hallways without children even carry the smallest of noises as if they were shouts. The other teachers, my sisters, and I scare each other constantly, we'll get use to it and something has locked the front foot this morning, we haven't been able to leave."

Molly looked at Blake,"Sisters. . .", Blake looked around,"And something locked them in here, yet it was unlocked. . . So what happened to the Orphans or staff.", Blake put the note on the piano chair, they left the classroom.
"How do staff and children disappear?"
"I don't know. . . But something bad, we need to keep them out of the buildings, especially if they're anything like this."
Molly nods.
Blake and Molly stop.
Molly unable to speak, grabbing Blake's arm as they spotted the figure down the hall.
In a dark doorway, a figure was bent over; They wore a torn dress, looked to be injured and breathing heavily.
Blake thought of calling out, but then. . . Something caught his eye.
While one hand was on the doorway, another wasn't. . . And what looked to be a weapon.
Blake looked at Molly, shaking his head.
Then. . .
*Snap*
Molly and Blake turned back.
The person. . . Looked right at them, in the dark; White pupils.
The lights then flickered to life once again.
A woman that looked like the Cutout they had passed, but her hair was a mess, a bow barely hanging on, a permanent smile was plastered but her face cracked in one half.
And underneath her face. . . Blake couldn't begin to think.
Molly's grip tightened, Blake watched as this. . . Person or. . . Thing, began to laugh, now holding something that looked like a make shift mace.
"No being in the halls without a hall pass. . ."
Blake grabbed Molly,"Run! Now!", Molly followed Blake, the lady beginning to laugh and her footsteps, unsteady but fast as she chased them, swinging her weapon.

~

Blake and Molly duck into a classroom.
"Come out. . . Barb and I just wish to discuss. . . Progress."
Molly looked at Blake, he looked like he had seen a ghost, he gripped her hand hard and shut his eyes.
"Hey. . ."
Molly squeezed her hand back, Blake looked at her,"I'm okay. . . What. . . What is she. . .", "I don't know. . .", they stood up, Blake unsteady as they looked for that lady or teacher.
"Could she. . .?"
"Maybe. . . But where are her sisters. . .?"
They saw her.
Her giggling then stopped.
She looked towards the way they had came in.
. . .
"Children. . ."
Blake tensed, suddenly feeling sick and his heart sinking.
"It's been. . . So long. . ."
She began to walk towards the exit, her back cracking, legs too and she was overall wobbly on her feet.
Blake immediately grabbed a chair,"I'm not letting her near the kids. . .!", Molly nods, but before she could stop him he left the room.
He was going to stop her. . .?!

Blake came up behind her, slamming the chair down.
She spun around, giggling,",Children. . . You're keeping me from them. . . The children. . .!", Blake glared,"I won't let you near them!", she giggled,"Barb is right. . .! It has been a while since we've had food!", she swung the mace, Blake using the chair to both hit her and defend himself.
Suddenly like a animal, she lept at him with such strength and force she slammed him into an old table, Blake grunted immediately putting his hands to push her off.
Only this lady was quick, she raised the mace and slammed it down on Blake's arm,"AHHH!!! FUCK!", "LANGUAGE!", she then slammed it again into his other arm,"The children could hear. . .", Blake grunted, spots in his vision but he sees Molly slowly approaching from behind with a blank.
Molly, with a swing, she slammed it against her head.
Knocking it off her body.
Her head went flying across the room, her body went limp and dropped.
Molly dropped the plank, Blake sitting up as he felt his arm and wrist, feeling warm. . . Warm blood.
"Don't move, stay still."
Molly rushed into an old office, tearing it up to find a medkit.
"Oh thank you. . ."
She rushed back to Blake, the mace was made of sharp pencils, a ruler and an old tennis ball from what she could see.
"This is going to hurt. . ."
Molly looked at his arms and wrists, cuts from the sharp pencils and holes.
Using the alcohol, she began to clean the injuries.
"You shouldn't have done that. . . Rushing out. . . It was like she was an animal."
"Yeah well. . . Thought, I could handle it. . . Handled a crazy teacher before."
Molly looked up, unrolling bandages,"You. . . You have?", Blake nods, hissing as Molly lifted his arm,"Yeah. . . In my childhood, I was sent to a school house by my parents. . . Because they thought I was being lazy and stupid, I struggled with math but they didn't believe I was. . . Challenged or had anything that made me not understand.", ah yes, that time when ADHD, Autism and many others were looked down upon.
"And well. . . They thought I needed some, 'old school', teaching. . . My teacher, Mr Basics, he would hit me with a ruler; Wrists, arm, back head or, chase me around the school because I struggled to answer and couldn't get it right.", Blake shook his head, biting down as Molly finished wrapping his arm and wrist, understanding now his reaction.
"I. . . When I saw her, I felt like I was back in that school house. . ."
Molly finished, holding his stand and he rolled down his sleeves so the kids wouldn't see, especially Finch.
They approached her, now they noticed. . . This wasn't a human.
She sounded human, acted human. . . But she was a doll, her joints reminded Molly of dolls.
"Jesus. . ."
"What happened here. . ."
