Baba Chops peaked out from the vents,"I think so. . .", Simon huffed, Rabbie holding Maggie under one of her wings,"So, what's our plan from here? Live in the vents for the rest of our life?", Simon shook his head,"Course not. . . Right, Baba?", she scanned the halls, back away suddenly,"Someone is coming.", they held their breath, only Baba felt the fear wash away seeing Mr Roth walked down the hall; Alive! Injuried, but he was alive.
"It's Mr Roth. . ."
"He's alive. . ."
The Nightmare Critters watched, he was walking fast; He was going to get out of here.
"Guess they didn't manage to kill everyone."
Baba turned to her team,"We could help him.", "Help him?", Icky came in, followed by Pou and Touille.
"Yeah!"
Baba Chops,"So many people lost their lives, good employees that didn't know anything; And that man was always kind to us, helped us feel comfortable: I heard and watched Leith threaten him by using his family, especially his nephew.", the Nightmare Critters looked at each other.
"Do we really want to live with ourselves knowing a kid lost their Uncle that had no choice in this?"
Baba Chops pops open the vent,"You guys can stay here, where you're safe; But I'm going to help.", and with that she jumped down, running after Jimmy, keeping an eye out for toys that might hurt or eat her and especially for The Prototype.

Stella opened the door slowly,"Okay. . . Kid; You get in the cart.", Rich nods,"Me and Stella will turn on the cable cart and when we get to the stop, we turn it off.", Kid nods, so he slowly made his way to the cart as Stella and Rich made their way to the statue.

"I didn't want this. . ."
Rich looked at her as he did the work, Stella leaned over the control pad,"When it first began to happen, I cried. . . I cried every day for them. . . But I couldn't save them, they told me if I stepped out of line, spoke up. . . They'd hurt my family. . .", Rich nods, he would have done the same. . . To protect Kid and his wife, he gulped.
Once they turned it back on, they dashed up the stairs.

Kid felt the cart shake, it was on; Stella and Rich ran in, the doors closed and the cart was freed of red smoke.
"Holy shit."
Catnap!
Catnap tired to tear at the line, but made of very tough metal.
He roared, Smiling Critters then appearing and running up the line.
Stella inhaled sharply,"Get ready to shoot.", Rich and Kid nod.
Once at the top, Rich left first and fired, setting a CraftyCorn Plushie on fire, Kid fired missed but it made them run and Stella dashed for the lever.
"OW!"
Something left onto her head, pulling at her hair,"I GOT IT!", Rich got Catnap off her, tossing it down into the cave system.
Rich huffed.
"Now what. . ."
"The trian isn't here. . . We gotta walk. . ."
Kid gulped, they took off their masks with the smoke mostly underground so. . . They jumped down, walking to The Game Station, a step close to freedom.

Jimmy sighed, his head hurt. . . Felt like he was walking in circles, so many labs.
Walking into one room, he gagged to see an employee laying dead on a hospital bed with his stomach. . .
Jimmy shuddered, picking up a mask and put it on.
"I'm getting out of here."
Jimmy walked through the red smoke, taking slow and easy breaths, it wasn't easy.
"You know. . . I always admired you Mr Roth; Determination, IQ and even physically: Very admirable."
Jimmy grumbled,"What?", "I always have an eye for people with potential, especially people that wasted it on this company for those brats.", Jimmy would murder him a second time.
Once out, he took off the mask and breathed in and out slowly.
Then it hit him.
He was forgetting something.
He felt his vest and trouser pockets.

Holy shit he couldn't feel his phone.
Jimmy's heart lept, dropped but. . . Steadying himself.
It's. . . It's probably in the lockers.

Yarnaby walked around, looking for more food.

Yarnaby saw a phone on the ground, lighting up and vibrating.
Curious, Yarnaby laid down to listen to it ring.

"Hey Jim, I know you're busy with work and probably why you couldn't pick up, but I just wanted to let you know that Nicky's fever hasn't gotten any better, we're taking him to the hospital so if you find the house empty don't alarmed and we'll be back soon.'

Yarnaby put the phone in his mouth, careful to not shallow it and made his way back to Sawyer.

Jimmy frowned, in disgust, horror and. . . Just seeing the brain in a machine.
"To keep me alive. . . They needed me alive, and when I get my hands on Leith he's a dead man. . ."
Jimmy subconsciously stepped back, his head trying to process to much and backed into something.
He froze.
Before he could run, a metal hand wrapped around his chest and waist, lifting him off the ground.
"HEY!!!!"
"Miss me?"
He looked up, met with a robot with a TV head, white lab coat drapped over it; An eye staring at him.
Jimmy shuddered; Sawyer.
