Chapter 6 - A Small Sign

Scott kneeled down next to the pond in the Cod Empire. He carefully placed his left hand on the ice. The cod that were swimming happily underneath the ice paused and swarmed around the space-like hand. Some pecked curiously at the ice trying to figure what that black object was.

Scott smiled remembering what Jimmy was like years ago before the reset.

Curious like these fish. Cute too...And he still is...

Scott shook the thoughts from his head. The chances of Jimmy liking Scott back? Very low. Who would like a demon?

Then he heard footsteps. Scott quickly hid behind a pile of snow.

It was the CodFather himself. Jimmy peered through the ice at the cod underneath the ice and sighed in relief when he saw that they were swimming happily.

Jimmy stood there for a minute studying the snowfall around him. On account of Scott's liking of Jimmy, the snow was lighter here. The blond shrugged it off and headed back to his house. Scott watched as Jimmy accidentally hit a Poppy with his foot.

The poppies were all frosted over on account of the poppy that Jimmy gave him. He had grown a liking to the poppies. All thanks to Jimmy.

The Scottish smiled as the blond picked up the poppy. Scott watched as the cod hybrid carefully inspected the red frosted flower. The cyanette beamed when Jimmy placed the poppy in his hair and headed inside.

Scott stood up and stood there for a moment before deciding it was time to leave. But before he left, the cyanette left a snowman for Jimmy.

Flying towards Rivendell, Scott stopped at House Blossom. There, he found a good hiding spot and hid there. From there, he could see the two girls running into Katherine's house. Thankfully, he had a perfect view of one of the windows.

Scott watched as Niki gave Katherine something red and immediately knew it was another poppy. He watched as Katherine inspected the surviving flower and placed it carefully in a pot.

The cyanette watched as the pink haired female said something to Katherine and then left a few minutes later. Walking through the snow, shivering, Niki made her way back to her Empire. Following her, the two arrived in the Syndicate Empire. It was very well built.

In the center, there was a huge statue that seemed to be protecting the Empire. It was a statue of some sort of hybrid. His hair was long and tied into a braid and he had the nose and tusks of a boar. Perched on his head was a golden crown. On his back was a deep red velvet cape laced with white. With one foot on a stone, the statue had one arm holding a sword into the air and the other arm was holding a totem of undying. Sitting at his feet was a dog. As Scott got closer, he saw that there was a nameplate.

Technoblade the Blood God, and his loyal dog, Apollo

"Not even close baby, Technoblade never dies!"
"The only thing that works in this world is that you treat others how they treat you."
"Officer, I drop kicked that child in self defense. You gotta believe me!"

Around the edges of the empires, there seemed to be smaller statues made of wool. One represented a split skin enderman hybrid. One side was as black as the night and the other was as white as snow. There also seemed to be a crown on this statue. Another represented someone with blonde hair with a green and white striped hat. On his back we're black wings. And beside him was a statue in...A sonic costume? Finally, beside that seemed to be a mini statue of Niki.

The citizens were in fact represented by the blond and a black haired woman with a black outfit.. Adding on to those, the children were represented by the sonic costume, the split skinned, a blond boy with a red and white t-shirt, and a brunett with a green button down shirt, or a yellow and brown shirt with jean overalls.

Scott knew that the brunet was indeed Tubbo as the bee hybrid loved pestering him so much. So Scott concluded that the other people here must be a person that Niki knew.

Each building was different. Each with different materials and style. But most of the buildings, Scott could tell was Niki's own as he saw her builds plenty of times before.

There seemed to be some sort of church built from crimson planks and bits of gold. As Scott approached it, he saw that a sign out front said "The Blood Church." Another? First the blood sheep and now this?

I'm the sky seemed to be sort of black birds. A raven? A crow?

"What are you doing Scott."

Scott cried out in shock when he heard a voice behind him. Scott turned his head to be greeted by piercing brown eyes.

"Wha-"

"What happened to you?" Niki asked. "You were never like this on origins."

"Well-" Scott hesitated.

Don't tell her

"I gotta go." Scott immediately spreader his feathered and ice wings and took off, leaving Niki's Empire behind.

. . .

When Scott got to Rivendell, he was shock by the new appearance. What used to be white, blue and gold was now red, black and magenta. What used to be the church was now some sort of torture chamber. What used to be the bee house was now a mob farm.

Scott scowled at the foreign look of the Empire. He despised the new look. Because it wasn't right. It wasn't Rivendell.
