Writing Around John B and Sarah

So, if you guys are anything like me, you fell in love with John B right away. Now, if you're even more like me you started planning a fic for him before you even started the show. Now, there's a little problem with that called Sarah Cameron and a canon relationship. So, here are some ways I've thought of to write either John B or Sarah fics and write around canon!

1. The Obvious: Cheating
Now, Sarah cheats on Topper with John B so clearly it's not out of character for her to be a cheater. That being said, it shouldn't be glorified and healthy like it is in the show. They really brush over the fact that Sarah cheated when Topper, even though he was an asshole, was in love her and cared for her in his weird, douchebag way. Cheating should never be glorified, but it wouldn't be out of character for her.

2. Make it Un-Canon
Literally just write it as if it never happened. John B and Sarah has GREAT chemistry as friends, so just keep it that way! Erase the kiss on the dock and just act like it never happened and Sarah and John B are just friends. They clearly care about each other a lot and I think they would work really well as friends

3. An Amicable Breakup
So, Sarah plays a big part in the ending of the show. That being said, if you want Sarah and John B to breakup, it shouldn't be in a big blow up or something because then it would be unrealistic for her to help John B get away. If they break up, it should be either mutual or for a good reason but nothing too dramatic.
