Friday night. It finally came. Here you were now on your way to the bar. All this week, you've been slightly distracted. You got all your assignments done at work but you didn't want to do some boring files. Your fingers itched to play some pool. It was only on Wednesday that you and Seulgi were able to play a round of pool but since then you wanted more.

You just arrived at the bar and immediately went inside. By instinct, your eyes went over to the crowd around the pool table and he was there. You went over to the bartender and sat on a stool.

The bartender noticed you. "Back again, huh?"

"Yep. Can I have another one of those drinks like last time?" You asked.

He nodded and began to prepare the drink. "So, you're not heartbroken anymore or are you just wanting to play?"

You tore your gaze away from the crowd again. Damn, you didn't even notice that you were watching them. "Well, I'm used to being heartbroken. This one just lasted more than the others but I guess I have a new interest in the game now."

He placed the drink in front of you. "You're here to scope out the competition or something?"

"I guess you can say that." You took a sip.

He let out a dry laugh. "Nice. Well, just so you know that his partner is really good."

"I bet I can beat him." You said confidently.

The bartender raised a perfect eyebrow. "Oh, really? Ever since I've known him, he's good at almost everything so I would like to see that."

"You two are friends or something?" You questioned, curious to the relationship.

"Yeah. Friends with the owner of the bar, friends with Yoongi and friends with Yoongi's side shark." His attention was caught by a customer sliding over money. He took it and bid the customer a good night.

"Nice. Care to tell me any tricks his friend uses?"

"No, do you think I know how to play pool?" He scoffed in a playful way. "I'm only here to make some money and I don't really care about that type of gambling. I hate it."

"Ah, I see," You glanced down at his nametag. "Seokjin. A truly righteous person, aren't you?"

Seokjin shrugged a shoulder. "Fuck yes I am. I'm just curious. You playing him tonight?"

"No, I want to get an idea how he plays first then I'll play him next week." You took a gulp of your drink.

"Well, I'll be waiting. Are you a pro or something?" Seokjin took the empty glass the customer leftover and splash the remaining drink in a sink behind him. "You don't look like one... Or is there an Olympic event for that?"

You laughed. "I'm not really a pro. I'm just really good at it." You downed the rest of your drink and slid it over to him. "Honestly, I like playing it and I don't rrally like deceiving people so I gotta take him down."

Seokjin slightly smiled. "Wow and you called me a righteous person earlier? Honestly though," He took your empty glass and began to fill it up with the same drink. "it'll be better for you to beat him because I'm fucking tired of him bragging about how much he made in an hour that is higher than my salary."

"Oh, so a little revenge, huh?" A smiled played on your lips. "Alright, I'll do it for the both of us."

Seokjin handed you back your glass. "Yes please. Now go and see how he plays."

Without another second to waste, you got off your stool. Though Seokjin made you pause in your way. "And make sure to pay for your drinks before you leave, please."

"Sure thing." You replied and made your way over to the shark's water.

As you neared the group, you scanned for a place to watch them. You spotted a trio of girls who were at the opposite end from the Pool Shark. You decided to join them.

You were off to the side of them. Luckily the bar had dim lighting everyone except for the bright fluorescent light that illuminated the table. You looked at the player who looked like he was sweating so much and troubled. He was looking everywhere for an angle but couldn't find any.

In your head, you scoffed as you saw an opportunity that would make the other player troubled. Then you looked at his opponent.

You were a bit taken aback.

He just looked so young. His innocent looking brown eyes were staring at the table. He was leaning against the table, his cue was also leaning against him. Still, his piercing eyes never left the table even when he was handed a drink.

Was this your opponent?

After analyzing your opponent, your eyes trailed over to the other Pool Shark who was standing besides the young guy. He looked down at the struggling guy with a faint smirk on his lips. Like he knew that he and his buddy was going to win. So, Yoongi wasn't the one who played? Hm, you immediately thought that he probably egged people on. Like that one duo you faintly remember in college.

You managed to pull your eyes away in order to avoid eye contact, just in case he felt your stare.

At last, the troubled guy took a shot. Nothing made it in. It was a worthless shot as he only moved his striped ball and it collided with a solid. He took a step back, obviously frustrated.

You took a gulp of your drink as he did the opposite of what you would have done.

Now, the young opponent leaned away from the table and studied the placement. He tilted his head a bit that made his brown hair flip a little into his eyes. He poked the inside of his cheek with his tongue and then made his stance.

It was the typical stance that most players used.

The cue rested between his index and middle finger. He positioned it slightly, drew back and hit the white ball. It shot forward, collided with a solid ball and that one hit another solid ball that was a couple of inches away. That one made it into a pocket.

A smirk appeared on his face. He only had a solid left and the 8 ball.

The solid rested against the wall with the white ball diagonally behind it. Now if he managed to hit it, using the wall to his advantage, he could make it. Maybe he didn't get the angle right because he missed it by mere centimeters.

He frowned and let the other person go.

Yoongi, the main Pool Shark, patted his back. It was going to be interesting for Yoongi to have an expression of shock on his face. All this time, he's been having a look of arrogance on his face. And it made you more determined to beat him.
