"I-I wasn't trying to hurt peoples' kneecaps..." Yoongi stuttered a bit over his words. You simply stared at him because you know what you heard. Unless you didn't and now this whole thing was awkward. Although, you're pretty sure you did.

With a tilt of your head, you asked once more. "You sure? 'Cause I think you're lying to me."

Yoongi had no words while Jungkook snickered. "He's trying to break my kneecaps, Y/N." He instantly went into child mode and hid behind you once he saw Yoongi's glare on him. "Please save me." He whispered even though it was heard by Yoongi.

You laughed and glanced at Jungkook. "Why is he trying to do that?" You couldn't see it but Yoongi made the motion of zipping his lips and aggressively pointed at the student. Hm, was Jungkook going to spill the secret? Hah, he wouldn't. He liked his kneecaps.

"No idea. I think hyung might be on his period." Well, he had to tease him one way or another. He wasn't going down without a fight.

Yoongi stared at Jungkook with a dead expression (already thinking what he was going to do Jungkook later) while you bursted into laughter. "Classic." You high-fived the student.

"Don't encourage him." Yoongi spoke up and switched to glaring at you now.

"But I have to award creativity!" You defended.

"No, you don't." The Shark tried to shut you down. Jungkook slowly emerged from behind you, taking his spot at the pool table as the opponent finally finished. You watched eagerly to see what he was going to do. He better not screw this up!

Meanwhile, Yoongi was kind of freaking out. He didn't know what to do and he originally had a plan where he was going to confront you about not coming. But you did, so there went that plan. Now, he was just mildly freaking out. Yeah, he was fine. Totally fine.

"Really?" You shook your head as Jungkook positioned himself to the wrong solid ball.

The student heard you and looked at you. "It's the only one I can make a shot!"

"No." You could easily see at least two other ways. "You can hit the orange one or blue one!"

Jungkook returned his gaze to the pool table. "No?" He was totally confused.

You just sighed. "Alright, mess up your turn then. I'm getting water." You left the area and went up to Seokjin. The bartender sent you a bright smile as you reached the bar.

"Didn't think you were coming back." Seokjin chuckled in pain, remembering the continuous pestering from Yoongi from these past two weeks. He was so glad that you came back or else he would be a victim of Yoongi's whines.

You shrugged your shoulders. "I had to because everyone missed me, right?"

"You have no idea." He said without thinking. "Want a new drink?"

"Just water." You denied although it was really tempting.

Seokjin simply took a longer glass, filling it with ice cubes and water. He slid it over to you with a straw inside. "Did they say what they want?"

Whoops. "I didn't think to ask." Now you felt a bit guilty.

"I guess I'll do it later." His attention was pulled away by another customer. Water in hand, you went back to the pool table and saw Jungkook was trying to get the eight ball in a corner pocket. Yoongi noticed your presence.

"Wow you didn't leave me this time." A sarcastic tone was laced in his voice.

A teasing smile appeared on your face. "Aw, did you miss me?" He turned his face away from you. "Well, I missed you, Sharkie."

He thought he was going to explode. "I sort of missed you." No, he wasn't supposed to say that! A little ways away, Jungkook stifle his laughter when he heard that. His hyung really did mess that up. Yoongi was ready to throw the student the middle finger but somehow refrained. C'mon, he was a classy guy.

"Thanks." You smiled despite feeling a little hurt. "I'm not sure if I should be flattered or not." Still, you kept up the playful act.

Meanwhile, Yoongi was mentally kicking himself. It could have been one of those heartfelt moments like he sees in those kdramas! Ugh, how could he screw this up?! His throat went dry once he realized he could have said something way better. Without even thinking, he asked; "Can I take a drink?"

You blinked, surprised at the bold request. Did he just ask... You were surprisingly confused and for once, a bit flustered around the Shark. "H-Huh?"

And he did something you never thought he would do. Yoongi looked defeated as he put on his best (or an attempt) puppy eyes with a small pout on his face. "Can I take a sip, please?"

Welp. He got you. Reluctantly, you handed off your water and tried to calm yourself down. You didn't even notice as Yoongi took a sip from your straw without thinking. As soon as he realized, he was beating himself up over it. Because why? It was an indirect kiss! Why was he not thinking today?! Thankfully, you didn't notice - scratch that. You did.

You were mentally screaming at that. Would it be rude to wipe the straw? He awkwardly handed you the glass and you accepted it. Quick! You had to think of some witty remark! Despite your flustered state, you boldly said, "So, did you really want to kiss me that bad?"

Poor Yoongi was exploding with embarrassment. "H-Huh?!"

Jungkook was awkwardly standing off to the side, watching the flirting attempts by Yoongi. He had already beaten his opponent and eagerly turned around to you two to show off he had done it only to find his hyung messing up. Badly. And so he was stuck with money and giving out the money people placed bets on him. He was done and already tried to get your or Yoongi's attention for the past three minutes and now he decided to give up.

The student made sure the rack was back on the wall, the blue chalk that he put back and at last the pool sticks in the holder. After all that, you two were still going at it! In the midst of his tantrum, he shouted; "Stop flirting and start dating already!"

Jungkook could see that almost everyone in the area turned to stare at him with weird looks, the both of you in front of him with wide eyes with Yoongi looking like he really was going to take his kneecaps and at last - the grand puzzle piece to this awkward situation.

Seokjin staring at him with a look basically saying; "You done did fuck this up, Jungkook." Welp. He lived a good life with his kneecaps.

sorry everyone for slow updates and for not updating in november! i've been busy with school and studying for my finals and now i got 2 more to do before i'm finally free :'))) another update should be this weekend or early next week then a couple more chapters before i finish up pool shark and debut my yandere story which i'm excited for! :D
