Red kept falshing through my mind as I tried calming down...Why wasn't it working??!? Breathing quickly I sped past the others walking as fast as I can everything flickering red then back to normal in front of me.

Not noticing a rock in front of me, my foot jerked back causing me to lose my balance. Vision seeping into red the ground met up to meet my face when someone snaked their arms around my waist

pulling me up. Growling I whipped around, tail whipping around ready to pierce through something when Rob's worried face met mine and the red instantly disappeared. Looking behind him I saw Mitch and Jerome talking

but didn't pay much attention to it...Focusing back on Rob I realized he was crying...Tears trickling down his cheeks I whimpered as he sighed, his breaths shaky. Raising my hand, claws detracted I wiped away a tear with my thumb.

"Preston I'm so sorry.....It's my fault that you get set off this easily...." Rob apologized.

"It's fine Rob, I'm fine....Listen to me this is important....As long as I don't hurt anybody...I'm happy..." I explained trying to make him feel better.

"But what if you do attack someone?.....What if it was my fault?..." Rob cried out.

"If I hurt someone that would be my fault, not yours....It would never be your fault Rob.." I whispered.

Grabbing my wrist he pulled me into a hug and I instantly wrapped my arms around him feeling a weak smile radiate around him. As long as he was happy so was I....

Cuddling deeper into my neck I slithered my tail around his waist unnoticed until I lunged upwards dragging him along with me. Laughing as I passed through a cloud I lifted my tail so Rob was eye level with me.

"Rob...." I whispered and he snapped his amazed face towards me.

"Preston it's......I really do understand why you don't like the ground as much.." Rob joked.

"Yeah.....It's over rated... But this.....This is wondrous..." I commented walking in the air with Rob dragged behind me.

"It is beautiful.." Rob replied nodding a bit nervous. His eyes widening and snapping his head back up when he looked down.

"It's more than beautiful Rob...IT'S MAGNIFICENT!! It's freedom! It's.......Peaceful..." I explained.

"Preston I didn't think you would feel so, at ease up here...I thought you just didn't want to be near us.." Rob confessed rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.

"No Rob....Up here I feel free...I feel like no one is here to judge me or treat me horribly.....It's always nice up here no matter what..." I dragged on.

Smiling as I stretched my wings out farther and glided back down the wind gently brushing against my face while Rob fell behind me being dangled by my tail. Pulling him up I flipped over so he landed on my back laughing.

"Hey Preston?" Rob asked.

"Yeah Rob?" I replied at ease.

"When I went to catch you.....You almost attacked us...But then when I looked at you and made eye contact with you...You calmed down immediately.." Rob mentioned and I tensed up afraid.

"I.....I honestly don't know Rob....I don't know why..." I confessed and he nodded.

Out stetching my feet I ran so I landed on the ground graceful as Rob tumbled off of my back giggling. Shaking my head I walked back to where Rob was, extending my hand, and helping him up.

"Thanks Preston...." Rob thanked.
