My wings shuffling I screamed silently as the pain pounded onto my wings...Oh god, it would be so easy to let go and give up...But I needed to stay with Rob...I promised....

Hearing Rob's voice I curled my tail painfully towards him, flinching when I wrapped my tail around his feet, the ringing in my ears subsided and I snapped my eyes open to come face to face with a shocked Rob...

"Preston?....." Rob whimpered looking like he was about to break.

My lips dry I cracked my lips into a smile, feeling waves of energy pulsing through me quickly, I snapped my eyes completely open, bolting upwards into Rob's arms.

"ROB! Oh Rob I was so scared I left you!" I cried, sobbing into his chest.

"It's ok Preston....You stayed with me that's all that matters to me.." Rob cooed not making me feel any better.

"I know....But how long will I stay with you this time? I feel like I keep leaving you and coming back later regretting the mistakes I made." Confessing to Rob and I felt him tense.

My body shaking as he held me close to his chest like a baby, Mitch and Jerome were watching speechless on the other side of the campfire.

"Well how long can you stay?" Rob asked his voice quivering.

"Not long enough.." I whispered bowing my head so I was staring at the ground.

"Hey, Preston look at me.." Rob demanded and I snapped my attention to him, gazing into his brown eyes making me breathless every time I stared at them.

"Yeah Rob?" I questioned as we leaned closer towards each other.

"I'll take as much time as I can..." Rob said before we slammed our lips together moving in perfect sync....Shock jolting through my mind I finally realized why I was always so drawn to him...

I loved Robert Latzki.....And he loved me back, Rob pulling away because he needed oxygen he looked at me wide eyed.

"I am so sorry Preston I didn't know what I was thinking I-" He tried apologizing but before he could finish I smashed my lips against his signaling for him to shut up.

Tensing when he didn't kiss back I started drawing away but he placed his hand behind the back of my head and pulled me back towards him bringing me into a deep, passionate kiss.

Pulling apart in sync he shifted me so I was sitting in his lap, leaning against his chest I looked up at him smiling as he gazed down at me smirking back.

"I love you Preston..." Rob whispered in my ear. Bringing my knees to my chest I flipped over so I was face to face with him, leaning so my head was right beside his head I thought outloud.

"I love you too Rob.." I replied smiling as he pulled me back into the cuddle...I may not have a lot of time left here but I will take as much as I can to spend it with Rob....
