*Ponyboy's POV* "yeah well I'm gonna go lay down I'm still a little tired from the drive and from staying up last night" I got up and as I was walking to my room I was thinking how I didn't mean to mention last night because the possibilities are endless for them to think of what happened last night just by me saying we stayed up late gosh I'm so stupid. "I'm gonna go talk to pony real quick" Daisy said I heard her come in I was laying on my bed in my underwear facing the wall that I always face when me and soda go to sleep she then layed down where soda normally lays when were about to go to sleep. "You okay?" She asks me in kind of a whisper I turn on my back and look at the ceiling "I don't know I just don't want Dally to tell anyone about last night" I said quietly so no one in the living room could hear us "well their not gonna know Dally is sometimes a screw up and wise but trust me when it comes to his friends even his close ones like you he'll never share anything with anyone" she said facing me I then faced her and said "yeah your probably right" she then smiled and started rubbing my cheek and I fell asleep I could feel her get up and leave and close the door quietly behind her. "What's his problem?" Steve said "nothing he's just tired" Daisy said I could hear everything everyone was talking loud and laughing loud it was kind of annoying but my curiosity got the best of me so I layed in bed and was just listening to everyone. "Hey guys you wanna see something?" Two-Bit said you could tell he was slowly getting drunk "what?" Daisy said "oh my gosh Two-Bit" soda said laughing "stop" Daisy said laughing really loud "wow Two-Bit" Johnny said "hey man Two-Bit calm down" Dally said everyone was laughing and commenting "fine alright alright" Two-Bit said and everyone calmed down "oh thank god I'm glad you put your shirt back on Two-Bit because Ponyboy would not be happy if he knew I saw you shirtless" Daisy said laughing I wouldn't be mad that Two-Bit took his shirt off I just thought he did something worst is why I was getting mad is what I was thinking to myself. "Hey I better go check on pony" soda said walking down the hallway to our room I instantly closed my eyes and messed up the bed a little so it looked like I was tossing and turning in my sleep "hey pony are your alright?" Soda said whispering as he walked to my side of the bed I opened my eyes slightly then closed them and started talking in a groggy voice "what do you want soda?" "Why are you so cranky?" Soda said in his regular voice "I'm not I'm just tired and you woke me up" I said in my regular voice "ah come on Ponyboy I know my own brother you were not sleeping" soda said smiling "ah whatever I'm still tired" I said opening my eyes. "Hey you can tell me anything you know that right?" Sods asked me like he knew I had some secret to tell "I know" I said I really wanted him to ask me or beg me so that I would have a reason to tell him about last night but of course he didn't "okay just thought you might wanna know that before you tell me anything that your about to tell me now" soda said he seemed to know that I was gonna tell him either way. So I went for it "listen soda about last night it was the best night of my life because me and Daisy had fun in a way how Dally has fun" I said avoiding the word that they use for it "really? How come you didn't tell us?" Soda already knew the answer to such a dumb question "Darry" I said "of course it's because it's Darry pony I have to tell him he's gonna find out anyways" soda said about to get up from the floor next to me. "No soda you can't for one thing he's gonna freak out on me and another Daisy is gonna be mad at me she already didn't want me to say anything to Dal about it in the car" I said trying to convince him not to tell him "sorry little brother like I said he's gonna find out anyways" soda said getting up to the door then I did something I never thought I would ever do before
