🌊🌊🌊

it was something of a fright

melancholy, heart pounding

but i dove

straight into the ocean

of seaweed wrapped thoughts

that took the ever of forever

to behold and wonder

yet i wander on the wonder

as if, pulling the textures

of the grainy bits

into a spread

then cupping

in the creases of my elbows

a release, after the close

slowly dancing into the ocean

watching, waiting...

for the afterthoughts

that will rise as air bubbles

and destroy the sleek surface

so the dive

that trepidation of complete

shatters and drifts away with the current...
