A/N: Finally an update! Hopefully you all enjoy <3 this chapter took a bit longer than usual so sorry about that

"General?"

"Yes Dameron?"

"Are you feeling better?"

"I told you not to worry about me. I'm fine."

"You're obviously not. Now General, tell me what's wrong, I want to help."

"I don't need help."

Poe looked at the old queen sadly, a look of defeat apparent in her eyes. The silence was soon interrupted by Jess running in.

"General! General!"

"What is it Jess?"

She didn't answer at first, gasping for breaths before facing Leia once again.

"There's a girl at the door."

"And?"

"She says her name is Rey and...and...that she knows your son."

Poe froze after hearing who the girl was. The name sounded so familiar it left an aching feeling in his stomach.

Then he seemed to remember. It was her, the girl he fell in love with during his mission on Jakku.

He paled, not ready to face her again after all these years.

"So you're telling me the girl escaped?"

"Yes, Master Snoke," Hux bowed his head down.

"How could this have happened?" A look or irritation crossed over Snoke's face.

"Where is Kylo Ren?"

"I don't know."

"Well then, go find him and bring him to me."

Hux nodded before leaving the room, a stern and emotionless look on his face. He came back a few moments later, Ren by his side.

Ren felt a surge of guilt fill his stomach. Hopefully Snoke wouldn't catch into the idea that he was the one that helped her escape. He tightened the helmet over his face. 

"Ren. I heard the girl has escaped."

"Yes, she has."

"Do you have any idea where she went?"

"No Snoke," he replied, lying through his teeth.

"Well then, Hux, start tracing her location and possible places she may have gone, and Ren you spent quite some time with her. Where do you think she would've gone?"

"Jakku, she would've gone to Jakku."

As soon as the words slipped from his mouth he regretted them. He hoped that she had decided to escape far away from the desert like province she called home but he already knew it wasn't likely. The guilt began to appear.

"Hux send a squadron to Jakku and a few other squadrons to other parts of D'Qar. Try to look for both the girl and that Resistance knight."

"Yes sir."

"Good, go start now. I have a few things to discuss with Ren."

Hux nodded, walking out of the room. He shot Ren a look of annoyance before closing the door behind him.

"I'm getting old, and I think you could see that. It's been a good amount of time since I've taken over the throne of Starkiller and during this time I've been thinking of finding a heir. And I think I've found one."

Ren looked up to face him, "and who might that be?"

"You."

"What?"

"You're going to be my heir and don't worry about finding a queen, I have a daughter."

Snoke gave him a crooked grin before beckoning a girl from out of the shadows.

"Kylo Ren meet Bazine Snoke."

Ren looked at the girl, she had an evil glint in her eyes but looked beautiful nethertheless. With dark black curly hair down to her butt, gray eyes, and smooth porcelain skin, the girl was quite something to look at.

But Ren didn't find his affections traced back to this girl. Admittedly she was gorgeous but that was all he thought of her.

"She'll be your wife," Snoke gave him a grim smile beckoning her forward. "Bazine will be staying in your quarters tonight."

"What?"

"I want you two to become closer, to know each other better. I want to make sure you're a good match for my daughter."

Ren stood there emotionless, still trying to process the new information.

"Oh daddy!" Bazine embraced Snoke, a wide smile on her face. "I'm sure I'll be fine." She smirked while Snoke smiled at her.

"I'm sure you will," he replied as Bazine walked towards Ren.

The girl attempted to take his hand and Ren went rigid by her touch, someone else on his mind instead.

"Tell her to come in."

Jess nodded, running back out of the room. She returned a few moments later with Rey by her side.

Poe's mouth almost gaped open at the sight of her. Rey didn't look all too different from the last time he saw her, only a little older and a look of sadness visible in her eyes.

"Rey? That's your name right?"

She simply nodded and Leia stepped towards her, the look of defeat still on her face.

Extending her arms, Leia embraced Rey. They never spoke before, they didn't exactly know each other, but sometimes, something as simple as a hug was needed in times of comfort.

Rey didn't have to speak a single word to Leia for her to understand. So the two remained in their place, their embrace still tight.

One look and they already knew the loss that the other had suffered.

Sometimes you don't have to say a single word to simply understand what someone is going through. Silence is also a solution.

"I swear BB-8 if you zap me one more — ouch!"

Finn jumped up in pain and glared daggers at the droid. It has been a few days since Rey and Ben had went for a 'walk' and Finn started to get worried. Considering the fact that they haven't returned.

"I'm sure they're fine BB-8. They should be returning soon, right?"

The droid made a few beeps in response before settling next to him.

"I just hope they come back soon. What if something happened to them?"

BB-8 didn't say anything so Finn went silent, instead focusing his attention on what was outside. Peeking his head out the AT-AT he was met with a flurry of sand.

He wiped at his face, attempting to not let the grains get into his eyes.

Slowly the sand had stopped, settling onto the ground. Putting his hand over his eyes, Finn could see someone coming towards him.

"Hey buddy."

Squinting his eyes he could spot a ship and the figure of someone all too familiar.
