The sun shafts softly from the window, an etheral white resembling fairy dust.

Sunoo opens his eyes taking in the light that was emphasising the soft colours of the bedroom. He slowly pulled his arm from under Eun-jae, planting a kiss atop her silky black hair. She hummed and wrapped herself in the blankets tighter, scrunching up her nose.

Sunoo looked at the love of his life with heart eyes. What did he do to deserve her?

(The author thinks he's an enormous simp.)

He got up and exited the room, closing the door lightly and tiptoing to the kitchen. Eun-jae was used to him staying several nights at her house now and made no objection. Partly because he made srumptious breakfasts every time and partly because well, she loved him. She didn't know how to tell him though. They were obviously much more than friends, though niether of them could actually say it.

Eunjae woke up to the smell of cinammon and sugar, already maaking her mouth water. She freshened up and headed to the kitchen, just in time to see Sunoo expertly glazing the cinamon rolls he made.

"Have you ever considered culinary school Sunoo?" She said. The rolls were beutifully baked golden and smelled amazing. "Good morning to you too Eun-jae" he laughed and hugged her, then abrupty picked her up, spinning her around the kitchen while she yelled and laughed, telling him to put her down this instant.

He lowered her to the ground and they both looked at each other, out of breath and grinning ear to ear. Tention built up between them. You could cut the thick romantic longing with a knife.

Sunoo's eyes wandered all over her. Her beautiful eyes, her cheeks, and finally came to rest.. on her lips. Eunjae moved in closer, pushing Sunoo aginst the counter and closing the distance between them.

"E-eun-jae, I know i've never actually said it and this is lond overdue but-" Eun-jae shook her head and shushed him.

"I know. I love you too" Sunoo held on to her waist and pulled her closer. Their fases were inches a part now "Can I ...?" Sunoo breathed. Eun-jae giggled. "I thought you'd never ask." He leaned in and connected their lips. It was slow, loving and passionate. Like Sunoo said, it was long overdue. Their lips moved in sync. His hands snaking into her hair and pulling her even closer, as if she might dissapear if he let go.

They parted. Both of them were panting and red. Sunoo covered his face to hide hide his scarlet cheeks and Eun-jae grabbed his hands and pinched his cheek. "You're so cute"

They setteled down at the table and Sunoo watched Eun-jae eat while groaning and exclaiming how good the food was.

They spent the whole day together, going out for a walk which somehow ended in a snowball fight and Sunoo's snow-covered defeat, binge watching every Christmas movie ever made and Sunoo absolutely refuing to watch any horror movies. He kept hiding under the blankets everytime they did and pouted at Eun-jae's immense amusement.

Finally, the day drew to an end and Eunjae had fallen asleep while watching The Grinch. Sunoo scooped her up and carried her to her room, bridal style. He softly kissed her lips and turned off the light. He stole one final look at her, smiling to himself. "Merry Christmas Eun-jae"

"Merry Christmas" she mumbled back.
