"Okay, okay, gun down!" six other people ran out from behind the shadows. Three girls, three boys. I recognized all of them immediately, because of my research, as members of the street bunch gang. I gripped the gun tighter but lowered my hand to my side.

The masked man then stepped back away from me and lowered his mask from his head. Adrian?!

The girl I recognized as Kayla stepped forward. "We are the Street Bunch gang and I'm Kayla, this is Adrian, you've met him before, Ashton, Brook, Amara, Jayden, and my brother, Preston" she pointed to each member as she listed their names and each one gave a little wave or a nod of a head.

"Okay and how does this concern me?" I ask.

"We are looking for a new member, and you seem like just the person we need, with your aim which we saw at ring toss and how you saved Adrien that day. And you just passed the final test, how you react to these situations."

"Thank you, I appreciate it but I am not interested. In case you hadn't noticed, I would rather not get killed" I said sarcastically. I realized it wasn't that good of an idea, pushing buttons on these 'don't mess with' people, but for some reason, I felt more powerful with the gun in my hand. "Now if you'll excuse me, now that I know you won't kill my brother, I need to get home to them." I dropped the gun on the ground and watched as Brook bent down cooly to pick it up.

I walked away and was surprised when no one followed. When I reached the end of the dumpster alley, I heard them whisper, "she'll come to her senses" and I whipped around one last time saying, "no, she won't." And held my head high all the way home. Guess I did have a rebel in me.
