Chapter 1 - Run away!
Normal P.O.V
"Go away!"
"Stay back!"
"Get away from me!"
"Don't touch me!"
The voices of the trainers screamed as a little mammalian Pokémon walked closer to them with a sad face. This Pokémon was an Eevee. Round, brown eyes brimmed with tears and a small whimper escaped from the little Pokémon's mouth. Its quadrupled legs began to move forward, getting closer towards the trainers, making them scream and moved back from it. One of them took the courage to kick the poor Pokémon in the belly, sending it tumbling across the floor and laid on its side.
"Stop getting so damn close, you freak! Y-You're a curse to everyone in this town!" The boy shouted, making the Eevee scurried back in fright and worry. "You killed Blue's Raticate, and look at the mess you made!"
The Eevee turned its head towards the lifeless Raticate that rests its head on the lap of its owner named Blue. Its body was covered in blood with a wound on its belly. The boy stroked its head while crying, tears dripping from his face and onto the Rat Pokemon.
"But... I don't know what went wrong! Why was I mistaken for a curse?" The Eevee spoke with a small whimper, "I don't look like a curse... I'm just so alone..."
The boy scoffed, "Yeah right, you killed Blue's Raticate! You're the reason why his Pokémon was dead and it's all your fault!"
"Red, calm down. Let's take Blue and his Raticate back to the Pokémon Center, okay?" The girl insisted who was standing beside him.
"Alright Leaf. Come on Blue, we'll take him to the Pokémon Center." The boy, Red, said walking over to his friend and help him picked up his Pokémon. He turned to glare at the Eevee, "As for you... Leave this town - NOW!"
Feeling broken inside the Eevee's heart, it cowardly began to move away and then sprinted away from them.
Eevee's P.O.V
I ran through the streets of the stormy night, avoiding the traffic and people walking past. I have to get away from this place... What if he says was true that I'm a curse? Could their Pokémon die when I approached them? Or perhaps greet them in a polite innocent way? I shook my head. No, it's not right... The truth is, I'm just lonely and I'm looking for a trainer to be my master.
*FLASHBACK*
I found these kids since they have their own Pokémon with them and I want to join along with them on their adventure. However; that was about to change after they greet me and allow me to join their team, which I happily accepted them. Over the days, it was a stormy night and I was sleeping on the couch of Red's home with his friends. Blue left his Raticate behind when he went to Poke Mart to get supplies because the weather has gone worse.
Suddenly, when the lightning strikes, I was so freaked out that I accidentally tackled the Raticate off the couch and into the ground. That Raticate growled at me and bared his teeth. It was about to use its Hyper Fang that I scrambled to get away, only I knocked into a table that made the knife that's wobbling over the end, fell and land straight into my mouth with the blade pointing upwards and the Raticate was plunged into his belly. It screeched, scurrying to pull out the knife and embrace the wound he got. I was moving away from him, my tears falling as I watch him slowly began to faint with the amount of blood loss. By the time Blue got home, he dropped his shopping and screamed, running over to his wounded Pokémon. Red was one who heard it and wants to know what's going on until spotted me in the corner, covered in the blood of Raticate's. I was about to approached Blue and apologized to him but he cut off and says I was a curse, a Pokémon that kills other Pokémon. I don't get it at all, but Leaf pointed out the knife that was on the ground. Red abandoned me from the team and I ran away.
*END FLASHBACK*
Crocodile tears fell from my eyes, mixing with the raindrops. Maybe I am a curse, but that's not what I am. I'm just lonely... I don't deserve to be like this... but why!? I turned my head back to look behind myself, I'm so far away from my hometown watching the lights brighten up the dark city as I moved further away. Whimpering softly, I continued onward and far away as possible. I ran through the plains and soon arrived in the mountains. Lightning strikes again and I squeaked in fright, hiding underneath a large rock to block the lightning. I pushed onward until I came to a small cave. I walked in and panted softly, raindrops dripped from my soaked form. I shook myself crazily to shake off the raindrops and sat down, watching the town from my distance. I sobbed softly to myself and curled up with my bushy tail. My short messy hair was damp but I don't care about it anyway.
Staying in the cave shrouded in darkness makes me feel unsafe and scared. I want to have friends or maybe a family... this is just a dream? No, this dream has gone for real! I need to destroy myself, ending my life will only keep everyone safe. I walked deeper into the cave until I saw a large hole. I peered down and there's a void deep down - I'm guessing this is it. I took a breath and jumped into the hole, allowing the darkness to take me to my death...
I don't deserve this, but I just want everyone to be safe.
