"Hm..." You look around the large tree city on the hunt for your friend. They had said they wanted to see you and they were playing with you. As you went over to the center, you ran into someone, dropping your bag and a lot scattered out.

"I'm so sorry! Here." You blink as the person bends down to grab your stuff. 

"O-oh thank you!" Was all you could say as the person hands you your now gathered bag.

"You're welcome. Sorry about that, I wasn't really paying attention."

"It's ok." The guy smiled before leaving. You smile before noticing something. A pokeball.

He must've dropped it. Oh no... and I didn't get his name.... I guess I'll have to return it when I see him again.

You pick it up and place it in your bag before entering the center and getting scared by your friend.

You had to return to Fortree City due to your mother was in need of some things there. You go in and notice two of the Dexters, Sapphire and Emerald, bickering about something in the spot where you had your run in.

"The fact that he won't tell us what's inside give me a headache. It would make it easier."

"And he's in the center, not helping."

"If I was a Pokemon down and it was potentially my strongest, I would too."

"Touche."

You see the guy from before walk over to them with his head down. Sapphire noticed and brought him into a comforting hug. It clicked in your head as you reached into your bag for the pokeball from before. You go over and clear your throat.

"Excuse me?" The duo separated. "Would this happen to be yours?" The guy took it and looked at it. His face lit up. 

"Y-yes! Where was it?"

"It was in this spot. I had picked it up to try to return it and so that no one would try to steal it."

"Thank you." You nodded as you waved goodbye before heading to get the things for your mom. You overheard Emerald say something that caught you off guard.

"Does Ruby have a girlfriend!?"

"Emerald, your brain is on another island."

"Ruby!"

You laugh as you watched Ruby take off with the others following. Your face was a little pink, but you quickly shake it off as you go to get the things.
