Krokotopia!
Red woke up to Nolan knocking on his door.
"Red! The Headmaster's looking for you!" The Life Wizard blinked before stretching.
"Coming-"
~
Red entered the office as the headmaster smiled.
"Ah, Red. Good to see you." He smiled as he went over. "After studying the book you found with Rattlebones and what happened in the Death School, I figured out where Master Blue might be headed. I wager he's heading for Krokotopia to find the Order of the Fang. Due to us keeping this on a lot to prevent any Death Students, I have marked you to go to study. Here's the spiral key to go. Good luck."
~
Red gulped as he shielded his eyes from the sun. In contrast to the shade and gentle feeling of Wizard City, Krokotopia was dry and hot. Red scanned the area before spotting a leadership figure. Or, as close to one as he could find. He wasn't sure if they were one. He went over to the Dog-like person as they noticed him.
~
He was thankful that he had help.
The Marleybonian Archeological Team was already working on things, so they assisted him in looking for the Order. And since the place was crawling with strange creatures that were a part of the "Tuts", Red's magic helped them a lot.
The professor leading the team was the one who helped him find them.
"No wonder we can't find them here. They're on a completely different island."
Red hummed at that as he looked over the map that was there.
~
Red scanned the island as the boat docked. A ladder caught his attention as he went over and climbed down. Silence followed before a soft voice grabbed this attention.
"Why hello there." He turned around instantly, seeing an elderly Krok. "I assume you are here for the Balance School. Or are you here for something deeper?"
~
Red gulped as he entered the Sphinx. A chill feeling raced through his spined as he rubbed his arms. Alhazred had pointed him to Shalek the Wise in order to be tested for the Order.
~
It wasn't too hard. Finding and getting the General and Gladiator was fairly easy.
The Golden Fang, on the other hand-
Red blinked twice as he scanned the puzzles. Oh dear. Even with the obvious hint, it took him a little longer than needed. And the guardians were not helpful.
~
When it came time to fight Krokhotep, to say Red almost got lost was an understatement. Shalek guided him, but he was still lost.
The actual fight wasn't bad. He just needed to focus. Once then, he cleared out the field.
~
The Krokonomicon, which was what a lot of people were worried about falling into the wrong hands, was with someone much worse than Krokhotep. Great.
