Chapter 55: Fustrating tears
Jimin stayed silent as he repeated the question in his head repeatedly. The boy then couldn't focus on what was happening... Did his own boyfriend believe he was a monster that only longed to kill? The cause of the older father's death? With all of these feelings filling his head, Jimin suddenly grabbed the knife and stabbed it deep onto the raw meat and slightly in the cutting board. Keeping the knife standing from the cutting board.
"K-Kill..? You think... I killed your father? Jungkook!" Jimin shouted as he looked up at the younger. "W-Why would I lie to you?" Jimin said in tears as Jungkook was standing in fear of Jimin's sudden emotions. But he should realize that this was how Jimin was.
Jungkook was only filled with questions he kept shooting at Jimin and only longed to get answers. Unaware that if he asked too much, Jimin would lose it. "Tell me! D-Did you kill him? Tell me the truth, Jimin!" Jungkook asked as Jimin shook his head in tears.
"N-No! I-I didn't! I didn't do it!" Jimin sobbed as Jungkook folded his arms.
"Then why are you crying?" Jungkook questioned as Jimin rubbed the tears from his eyes and looked down at his hand. "Is there... Someone you know who did it? Perhaps Yuzo? Zozo? Any of them? How about those people in the Poker room? What sick joke are they playing at?"
Jimin cupped his face and continued to cry more from how much pain he was remembering... But of what? "N-no... No... No!" Jimin denied as Jungkook folded his arms.
"Well Jimin? Who killed my Father? If you tell me now... I will hurt them... If it was you, I can't promise you that you'll be safe after. Tell me who is the one to blame!" Jungkook shouted from the anger he felt deep down. If Jimin didn't know, how could Jungkook get close to any answers now? It had to be atleast Jimin who knew something about it. There was a feeling Jungkook trusted, and that was about Jimin knowing something but was keeping it in.
Jimin was growing confused and scared, he got down on the ground and cupped his face. Shaking his head, not being able to stop his tears. "Why can't you understand?! I had nothing to do with it!" Jimin sobbed. Only then Jungkook had enough of this, he got down to his knees and quickly grasped Jimin's hands and pulled them away from his face.
"Answer me! You know something! Stop hiding it from me! I-I have the right to know who killed my Father!" Jungkook said in a louder tone to his voice as Jimin was starting to grow insane from all of the questions, feelings and confusion that came at him repeatedly. Jungkook knew he was crossing over the line and harming Jimin mentally, but he just couldn't sit and think of his Father's killer was still out there. It wasn't fair to him.
All of those tears Jungkook cried over his Father, those endless nights of Poker to help pay the debts and the youth that slipped away from him that day his Father wasn't coming back. He wanted to find the culprit. The one to blame... He wanted to look at them in the eye and ask them why? Why would they do such a thing? How could they do it and how did this even benefit them towards the end? Jungkook had a good reason to throw questions Jimin's way. Even if Jimin had a disorder, he wouldn't be panicking, just going through emotions. Yet that was something no one knew. What went on in Jimin's mind was such a great mystery to Jungkook. Someone who was really close to the older man.
"TELL ME!!" Jungkook broke into tears as he still tried to keep himself together, after all this time, he could never move on from his Father's death. No one knew that his body was missing, everyone just knew he was dead as soon as he was gone for more than three weeks and Jungkook knew it. Everyone else did too.
"I don't know! I-I don't know!" Jimin shouted in return as Jungkook quickly grabbed Jimin's collar, pulling him close to shake him violently. Still wanting an answer until... Jimin suddenly slapped Jungkook roughly to get the younger away from him. Jimin knew this was all too much for him to handle.
Jungkook moved back and cupped the side of his face, followed by hearing Jimin's tears of fustration. "Jimin..." Jungkook whispered cupping his face and knowing he went too far. He just couldn't accept that his Father was gone and the boy had no other way of avenging him. He felt like a failure now.. Wishing it could atleast be Jimin so he can stop searching for the one to blame. "I-I'm sorry..." Jungkook whispered. Now he was the one to blame for doing something he shouldn't have.
Jimin was still crying in his hands as he had his head pointing down at the floor. "I-I'm innocent..." Jimin whispered as Jungkook looked up at Jimin.
"I know..."
"T-They're innocent too... That's as far as I know. I was never around when it happened and I know any of the two Yuzo and Zozo aren't to blame... They may be from bad and dangerous groups but why would they hurt someone who really cared about them? Mr. Jeon cared about each and everyone... It's like killing a helpless Bird. T-That's what I know..." Jimin whispered. Still cupping his face softly and finally looked up. "I-I deserved that..."
"No... You didn't... I was just too upset I didn't realize I hurt you. Ugh! I just can't sleep or think knowing the killer is still out there!" Jungkook shouted in anger, standing up and letting out a sigh as Jimin looked up with his depressing and gloomy gaze. "Why don't we... Finish cooking? Try to forget about this?" Jungkook asked. Feeling like a complete jerk from crossing the line and hurting Jimin mentally.
"I-I'm not hungry... N-No.." Jimin added, covering his ears and letting out sharp exhales, trying to calm himself down. Already, he wanted to shout and yell at Jungkook from causing him so much issues... Yet Jimin was silent and tried his best to keep it down. No matter how much of a headache it caused.
"I'm sorry..." Jungkook whispered as Jimin stood up and looked at Jungkook.
"Eat without me..." Jimin added, walking out of the kitchen to go to his room. Leaving Jungkook to look at the food left how it was before the two started to argue. Jungkook looked at the knife striked down on the raw meat and cut deep in the cutting board.
"Ah... I'm such an idiot... Who am I to be shouting at someone who has a disorder?" Jungkook thought. Putting away the raw meat in a safe and secure place so it wouldn't get rotten. After putting away the ingredients and setting away the uncooked food, Jungkook walked to the room and saw Jimin laying in bed, cupping his mouth and having one hand under his side he layed on in tears.
Jungkook walked in the room and crawled onto the bed and hugged Jimin. Still surprised the man allowed a soft and gentle hug after the storm. Normally, after Jimin would cry or put out a fit, he wouldn't even let Jungkook touch him. But the older layed there silently, feeling his young lover rest his forehead against Jimin's back. Making the tears dry from Jimin's eyes.
Yet all was left in Jimin was nothing but guilt from making Jungkook look like the jerk in the argument since Jimin himself was the one who took it a bit too far with the slap. Jimin removed his hand from covering his mouth and looked back at Jungkook.
"You... Believe everything I told you, right?" Jimin asked as Jungkook nodded and hugged Jimin again, closing his eyes and making a smile to cause Jimin to feel bit more happy.
"Of course I do... I know you wouldn't lie or hurt me like that." Jungkook added as Jimin looked at the boy, finally cracking and slight and faded smile from hearing Jungkook trusted him in return. No matter what.
