Chapter 36: Bets to the blind
"You like me..." Jungkook said with a smile. It wasn't the love word, but it was atleast something he wanted to hear. Jimin just couldn't say love yet since it seemed to be too soon for the both, but either way, Jungkook accepted that.
"Do you like me too?"
"Yes.. Of course I do.." Jungkook smiled as Jimin placed his arm around Jungkook's shoulder. "B-But... Didn't you say not to get attatched?"
"I did.. But maybe good things won't last that long.." Jimin added. "You won't be attatched for so long."
"W-What...? So this means.. We aren't something?" Jungkook asked as Jimin let out a sigh and turned his head to the younger.
"I said I like you... You said you liked me.. What else would you get from there?"
"A-A relationship..." Jungkook confessed, looking down in embarrassment. "Is this too fast?"
"A relationship. Do you want to be with me...? Do you want to be my boyfriend, Jeon Jungkook?" Jungkook got silent and nodded his head, causing Jimin to pull Jungkook close, placing his hands on the younger's shoulders and making him face the older. "Well? Say the answer.. Don't go mute on me. I hate that." Jimin pressured the younger to answer as Jungkook let out an exhale.
"Yes! I want to be your boyfriend! Please! I know you don't want me too attatched but.. We can learn to love. I know you hate love but maybe you just had a-"
"You're my boyfriend. That's it. Okay? Don't explain yourself. Don't cry over it. I understand it. But if I break up with you, just know you were never the issue." Jimin whispered and hugged Jungkook. "You really are someone I see myself with. You were just too hard to find." Jimin whispered to his ear as Jungkook wrapped his arms around the older man. "Tell me when you want to head out to the market."
"I-I... I think I want to go back home..." Jungkook whispered in Jimin's arms.
"Nonsense... Didn't you want to go out to the market?"
"I think I want to spend more time with you... I don't want to talk about it here." Jungkook added as Jimin sighed and rolled Jungkook's hair back, exposing his forehead too.
"Let me guess, you want me to take you home and talk it out with you while we cuddle... Huh?" Jimin asked as Jungkook nodded slowly.
"Y-Yes..." Jungkook whispered already wanting to tear up.
"I'd rather just hug you and tell you you'll be alright." Jimin added in a low whisper as he kissed Jungkook's cheek again. "You can't just want to end our date so early. I'd hate to end things off on the wrong foot."
"Penthouse..." Jungkook whispered as Jimin let out a chuckle, rubbing Jungkook's back softly and patting it gently. "I'm sorry."
"No it's fine. We still have gambling and that cuddling and talking thing you like so that's atleast something. Okay? It's not bad." Jimin assured the younger, pulling him close as his arm was placed around Jungkook's shoulder and the two waited for the driver to pick them up and take them back to the building where Jimin's penthouse was.
On their way back, Jungkook was actually allowed to lay his head on Jimin's shoulder, closing his eyes softly while Jimin caressed the boy's face in return. Jungkook just couldn't understand what Jimin meant by not growing too attatched but then end up in a relationship he claims that may not last long.
This was the reason why Jungkook wanted to go home because he wanted to atleast get to the bottom of it all. However, the younger despised how weak he became when it came to Jimin's comfession. In his mind he would take it gleefully but was only brought down by Jimin's dismay.
"Hey... Baby boy~" Jimin teased, poking Jungkook's cheek. "Are you mad at me? Maybe... I didn't confess the way you imagined it. I'm sorry I'm not what you ask for but I am what you get and I have my own ways of things... Okay? Ah, please don't feel upset. I don't understand what do you want from me!" Jimin's attitude then changed into a stressful tone.
"Calm down, okay? I just want this..." Jungkook whispered, raising his hand up to Jimin's chest softly. Being much of a good tame to the older man now. "My boyfriend..." Jungkook whispered making Jimin chuckle to himself.
"Yes I'm yours. Stop crying and feeling sad for once. Save that for later when you lose to me." Jimin gloated making Jungkook finally laugh. Yet he still kept in Jimin's words of him telling Jungkook that good things won't last long.
The two held hands as they went to the elevator and took it to the penthouse floor. "Okay, we need to take out some college classes first, then we can do our little poker game." Jimin added in the elevator as Jungkook turned his face to Jimin.
"Did you choose what are your bets for the blind?" Jungkook questioned as Jimin nodded and remained silent after that. "You aren't going to tell me, aren't you..?"
"We reveal our bets for the blind when the game starts. Okay?" Jimin said, walking up to the elevator doors once they arrived to the floor. The doors pulled open as Jungkook walked up behind Jimin to follow into the room so the two can work on college work together. They would always help eachother out with work and this was one one of the many things Jungkook looked forward to the most.
Later on, Jimin was finishing up his assignment as Jungkook was sitting on the bed, watching Jimin scribble away on the notes he was taking. Jungkook was already done by now and awaited for Jimin to be done. But of course, he didnt wan to rush the man.
"Still waiting on me Jungkook?" Jimin called out, as he finished taking notes on history, turning around to face the younger.
"I know what I'm going to bet against you now." Jungkook said with a smile, making Jimin smile and stand up.
"Just finished, why don't you bring my suitcase from my closet to the table? It has my deck of cards and my poker chips. Let's get this game done with so I can get my prize~"
"And what will that be?" Jungkook asked as Jimin tilted his head to the side and smiled at Jimin cutely.
"Just focus on setting up the game and winning." Jimin replied with a smirk, turning off his laptop and gathering his notes into a folder while Jungkook nodded and hurried out the bedroom to set up the game. After a while, Jimin finally walked out of the room to see Jungkook was already at his side of the table, waiting for Jimin to join him.
"Oh Jungkook, you could have told me to hurry." Jimin whispered, walking over to his side of the seat to sit down across the table from Jungkook.
"Just wanted to give you time before I win against you on this rematch." Jungkook laughed as Jimin gazed up at the boy with such a sly smile. "So, should we begin?"
"First we need to propose our bets to the blind. So tell me, Jungkook. If you win... What will you get? Jimin asked while Jungkook passed out the cards for a game of Texas hand 'em In Poker.
Alright, If I win... You'll let me work, take me out on dates often, and hug me close to sleep at night.. Kissing me gently and telling me sweet things." Jungkook confessed his bets for the blind as Jimin only looked up to smirk. "What will you bet?"
"Just this small, simple thing, Jungkook..." Jimin added with a smile as the younger was growing a bit nervous in what Jimin had in mind.
"All I'm asking for you is for a few simple things out of all that. If I win, you give up your chances with that job, you stay here for me and most importantly..." Jimin trailed off and smirked at Jungkook. Taking one last moment to finally tell Jungkook and not keep him in suspicion. "If I win... You also have to give up your virginity to me~ that's what I want if I win over you. I want to be your first time, Jeon Jungkook... and I can promised to you here that I'll be gentle with you... So, is that a deal?" Jimin questioned, holding out his hand as he awaited to shake hands with the opponent to play for those bets.
Jungkook looked down at Jimin's hand before making a smile and quickly holding Jimin's hands into his while they shook hands now for the bets they will play for now. "Deal." Jungkook added into his hand shake, making Jimin pull off such a seducing stare to show that he was ready to win Jungkook over now. Even if it was the last thing he would do.
