Chapter 33: Glistening smiles
Jungkook smiled happily while he was in the bathroom. Changing into his casual attire to head out with Jimin. The younger made sure he was using his best clothes to head out for the date. He held out dark blue overalls, white T-shirt, white low vans, a black beanie and of course, Jimin's sacred saphire necklace he entrusted with care to Jungkook. The younger then took out black glasses he uses for studying to complete his look.
Jungkook smiled at his look as he walked out of the bathroom to see Jimin sitting on the bed putting on two silver ringed earings. Jimin was wearing a striped red and black sweater and tight black pants with black shoes. Jimin gazed up to look at Jungkook wearing glasses, letting out a chuckle.
"Why are you wearing your glasses? You can see perfectly." Jimin stated standing up to keep his focus on the younger. "Are you going to do some classes before we go?"
"No. I'm trying to look my best. F-For our date!" Jungkook claimed with a smile but Jimin only tilted his head and walked up to the younger. Only then the older man reached up for Jungkook's glasses and took them down with a smile. "Jimin.. I need those..."
"You only use these for classes. You don't need to make your outfit perfect for our little date. You already look your best in anything~" Jimin whispered, folding the glasses closed and setting them onto the cabinet table. "See? You look way more better like this."
"Thank you.." Jungkook replied, looking down as Jimin pointed Jungkook's head up to face him. "Uh-"
"You blush so much and hide it the next second by looking down, you should know that I can still see your face either way. No use in hiding that Bunny smile anyways." Jimin responded cupping Jungkook's cheeks. Jimin then realized what he was doing and locked eye contact with the younger. Yet this caused him to quickly avert his eyes and turn away, walking out of the room. "Let's go. You should already know where we'll be off to."
"Oh yes! We can go to the park! Spring time is near and the flowers will look so beautiful and then walk around the market!" Jungkook claimed happily as Jimin scoffed.
"This date will take up our whole day. Do you really want to end up doing classes later on at night?" Jimin assured, thinking Jungkook would just drop the idea but the boy just nodded and accepted his consequences for later.
"Yup! I'll do them later on tonight. I don't mind at all. Let's go eat somewhere first!" Jungkook said excitingly as the boy started walking out to the elevator. "Oh! I need to bring money too!" Jungkook said as Jimin shook his head and followed the boy.
"I decided to take you so I pay for the meal." Jimin stated. "I am older, I should be able to take on the bill. Eat as much as you want." Jimin claimed unlocking the elevator and stepping in. "Understand?"
"Of course I do." Jungkook chuckled following Jimin into the elevator. "I'm so excited! I'm going on my first date in a long time!" Jungkook said with a smile but only then the smile turned into nothing but a shocked face as Jimin quickly placed his arm around the younger and reached over to the buttons. Putting in another code to be able to travel with the elevator down. Jungkook was blushing, feeling how Jimin just kept his arm around the younger to head down the elevator.
"What's wrong, Jungkook?" Jimin teased, pushing in the numbers as the doors of the elevator closed. "Is this too much for you or...?"
"N-No! It's perfect. I was just, feeling a little set back." Jungkook replied, holding Jimin's hand that was dangling from the side of Jungkook's shoulder. "This is romantic~"
"Calm down there, Jungkook. I'm only putting my arm around you since it happens on any date. Just trying to keep it traditional." said Jimin, yet Jungkook already knew Jimin wanted to do that for so long and was just lying now.
"Alright then... But, just to let you know, you don't have to be afraid to tell me how you really feel. Be open if you want! I'm your friend... Your only friend and you can tell me anything, Jimin. Understood?"
"Yes." Jimin responded and with that, no one added onto it. The elevator was reaching it's bottom as Jungkook remained silent because he knew it would be rare that the older would open up to him. It seemed to Jimin that it was very difficult to let someone in so easily, so Jimin just wanted to know when Jungkook would have enough of him. In his own world, he couldn't trust anyone with what issues he had that drove him to sit out on the window earlier today.
"What place are we going to eat a meal?" Jungkook wondered as the elevator doors opened and Jimin removed his arm around Jungkook and held him by the hand, taking him out of the building together. "Jimin?"
"Now you want to talk?" Jimin chuckled, waiting outside for his driver to come pick them up. "Why did you get so silent on the elevator?"
"I didn't add on anything... I'm sorry." Jungkook chuckled as Jimin rolled his eyes sarcastically.
"We are going to a seafood restaurant or a steak house restaurant where they serve chicken too. Which one?" Jimin proposed a choice to Jungkook as the younger shook his head.
"But you are buying, you should choose."
"Jungkook, you matter to me more. So, you choose." Jimin replied, causing Jungkook to blush with a cute bunny smile, showing his bright, white teeth.
"The steak house." Jungkook chose as Jimin held the younger's hand with a smile before pulling him close to wrap his arm around him.
"Steak house it is. But don't get any ideas. Close friends pull eachother close to put their arm around them casually all the time. So don't think I'm flirting." Jimin advised Jungkook, causing the younger to look away and smile.
"Of course you aren't, Jimin~ you don't want to catch any cooties if you love me." Jungkook teased, hearing Jimin start to laugh.
"Oh Jungkook, just by looking at you I think I already have it." Jimin shot back with another laugh while the two held gleeful laughs to themselves. This was one of Jungkook's favorite moments. Everytime they would play a game of Poker, Jungkook would tease Jimin and await his comeback on their little side game.
The car then pulled up by the building and stopped infront of them as Jimin opened the door for Jungkook to get in. "Get in." Jimin ordered Jungkook to go in as the younger climbed in and sat on the middle seat to sit with his love interest. Jimin then climbed in and shut the door as Jungkook was already placing on the seatbelt. "Don't you want a window seat, Jungkook?"
"No. I like this seat better." Jungkook responded, turning his head to lock eye contact with Jimin once more before giggling.
"You literally cling onto me like a satellite, Jeon Jungkook." Jimin replied with a smile as he placed on his seatbelt and telling the driver where to head off to next.
By now, their date started and Jungkook was happy to finally get out of the penthouse, however.. Now that he was out, he had a feeling to go out and gamble. But since he didn't allow Jimin to drink, Jimin didn't allow Jungkook to go out and gamble. The younger felt a little empty without gambling and finally understood how stressed Jimin felt when it came to his issue on drinking. Jungkook let out a sigh, causing Jimin to look his way.
"What's up with you?" Jimin questioned as Jungkook shook his head and turned his attention to Jimin. "Is there something on your mind? You should enjoy this.." Jimin stated.
"I do enjoy this! But I suddenly have an urge to gamble and play Poker." mentioned the young one, but then, Jimin started to smile again with a tease.
"Welcome to my world. Not a great feeling isn't it?" Jimin chuckled at Jungkook's untreatable addiction. Jimin then placed his hand down on Jungkook's thigh, running it up to the boy's inner thigh.
"Don't worry... You'll get over that addiction, Bunny Boy. I'm sure of it." Jimin whispered to Jungkook, suddenly tucking a piece of Jungkook's front hair behind his ear softly while gazing at him like Jimin wanted to kiss Jungkook or either do this to tease the younger. What ever it was, Jungkook was interested and couldn't stop staring into Jimin's glistening eyes.
