Chapter 32: Attatched
"Hey Jimin... Do you want to eat something?" Jungkook asked in worry as Jimin shook his head.
"I want to lay here in bed.. It's too much just to get up.." Jimin said. Jungkook thought these constant emotions Jimin jumped through made him feel this way. Left out in isolation for so long caused this to happen. Jungkook was tired of seeing Jimin like this he approached the man and dropped down onto his body, hugging him tightly while he rested on top.
"Before we work on our classes, can we head out or maybe walk around? I haven't been out in a while and I want to go out atleast once."
"Then leave..." Jimin said. "I no longer have fear of you leaving me forever so you're free to come and go as you please."
"Ah, Jimin you don't understand what I mean." Jungkook whispered, leaning over to Jimin's ear. "This could be good for the both of us. We can head out and spend quality time together!" Jungkook said with such a cute smile. "It seems like a perfect day to go out and do something together."
"Jungkook..." Jimin said, turning his head to face Jungkook who was laying on Jimin's back.
"Yes?"
"Why are you so clingy? We aren't a couple." Jimin claimed, letting out a sigh. "You don't have to tag along with me just because we kissed. A kiss like that didn't mean anything." Jimin said, making Jungkook let out a sigh. "You're crazy if you think we'll move any farther into a relationship that only stops right at the friend zone." Jimin shot back but Jungkook then shook his head in return.
"You don't know what I want..." Jungkook whispered as he was on Jimin's back, moving his hand up Jimin's shirt to softly rub his hands along Jimin's bare, muscled and soft, pale, back. "What do I want in your eyes?"
"Love.." Jimin answered as he closed his eyes, feeling Jungkook softly touch his back and only then, Jungkook started to give a massage to the older man. "A-Ah... What are you doing?"
"What does it look like I'm doing? Anyways... I'm sorry..." Jungkook apologized about making Jimin feel that way. Deep down, Jungkook knew what he felt for Jimin was true but of course, Jimin wasn't interested. Yet, it was only the doubtful feelings Jimin felt on the surface but not within.
"Go... You should have some time off by yourself. Don't wait up on me... You're wasting your time, Jungkook." Jimin claimed, already knowing Jungkook would refuse.
"Can't go anywhere without you.." Jungkook replied, shaking his head. "It's either you come out with me or I'm going to stay here forever."
"Suit yourself." Jimin retorted. Although, he still felt a little bad for the younger.. Jungkook was willing to actually give up his freedom to watch over Jimin. "Just because we kissed, it doesn't mean we're married..."
"T-That's not why I'm waiting for you to come with me." Jungkook said, still moving his hands along the older man's back to feel the bumps of his muscles. "It's something more than that." Jungkook added, already noticing Jimin was growing silent as he started to blush.
"What's the real reason..?" Jimin wondered, trying to hold back his uncontrollable, red blushes from the younger touching his back softly.
"I don't want you to die..." Jungkook said, pulling his hands away from Jimin's back. Causing Jimin's attention to snap back into reality.
The older man repeated what Jungkook said in his head as he turned over to face Jungkook who was on top of him. Sitting right on Jimin's lower half of his body. Instantly taking a moment to gaze up at Jungkook sitting over him. "You don't want me to die...?"
"No..." Jungkook replied. At that moment, Jimin raised his hand up to the side of Jungkook's cheek and cupped it softly. "I don't care what you've been through. I don't want you to leave me alone. You leave everyday and always come home but now, you'll leave and never come back. Do I have to go hell and back just to convince you to spend atleast some time outside? Discover nice things, socialize, walk around and maybe get something to eat together." Said the boy, loving how soft Jimin's hand felt over his gentle face.
"I can tell why you want to go out so bad... But what's so bad about leaving this world anyways? What's so scary about it? As far as I know... Once someone dies, all the suffering ends, no more stress and there will be peace." Jimin mentioned, but Jungkook only saw the gleam of tears in Jimin's eyes followed after. It was something about death that fascinated Jimin.
Whether it was freedom or just rest. Jungkook absolutely feared dying because he had many things to live for and Jimin was one of them. Ever since the death of Jungkook's Father, Jungkook feared he would die next and not complete anything in his life. Leaving everything incomplete like a blank page. Jimin on the other hand, had a different reaction when it came to realizing Jungkook's Father was dead.
Almost like he longed to die too. But just like Jungkook, Jimin would gaze up at Jungkook and suddenly feel like he had unfinished buisness that held him back from actually drawing out the most darkest card of his life.
"How could you say something like that? Jimin... Please.. I don't want you to go! I can make your life better." Jungkook whispered and pulled Jimin's hand away from his face. "I can make you happy.. Even if I'm just a friend to you. It's what all friends would do. Help another."
"Jungkook." Jimin said looking down at the boy who was laying down on his chest.
"We can head out... We can walk and I can show you how happy you can be. What ever you are reaching for, it may not be all you want. Maybe what you want could be close by and all you need to do is find it." Jungkook told Jimin as the man took a moment to ponder those words aswell.
"Why am I moving so close to him? I'm getting too attatched. This is just the worst but why am I allowing it to happen? I hate being so oblivious to this feeling to the point where I just don't know what is love to me." Jimin thought. He gently raised his hand to Jungkook again while the boy flinched, thinking Jimin might slap him... but Jimin only placed his hand over Jungkook's soft, brown hair.
"Where should we go?" Jimin asked as Jungkook smiled and opened his eyes he held tightly shut. Thinking Jimin would start shouting at him but he was wrong. Jimin was only thingking over the younger's words. "It is a date right..?"
"D-Date?" Jungkook asked as his face turned red. "You want a date?" Jungkook asked, raising his head up to gaze at the man.
"Well? What else would I call it? It may not be a date to you..." Jimin said cupping Jungkook's face closer. "But it is a date to me."
