Viola Pov

I finally arrived from Sinnoh to Kanto after talking with my aunt, Cynthia, The Sinnoh champion. She recommended to me that I go to talk to Prof. Oak, the Kanto regions pokemon professor, I was currently in pallet town where the professor lived, to talk with him about letting me travel through Kanto, and allowing me to use his new high-tech pokedex.

I walked over to his lab up on the south side of town, with my partner Alakazam by my side, along with its mega stone strapped on it's headpiece, and my keystone on my ring. I noticed that there were alot of people crowding the entrance to the lab, along with cheerleaders and limousines. I wondered if there was someone important here in Pallet town, I do remember the Professor mentioning having a grandson, so maybe he was leaving today; though, I do think all of this paparazzi is a little unnecessary.

Not wanting to deal with the crowd, Alakazam teleported us to the front door, surprising everyone. I knocked on the door and heard a come in. When I walked in I noticed two people in the lab, an old man probably in his mid 50's, who I assumed was the professor, and a young boy who looked one year younger than me, which was probably Oak's grandson. I also noticed a white pedestal with three different circular shaped holsters in them, all empty, with the boy holding a red pokeball with blue writing on it that said, Squirtle.

The two noticed, The professor smiled and walked over to me, while his grandson, who I think is named Gary, stared at me in slight shock, before asking his Oak who I was. Before he replied, I simply giggled; which caused Gary's face to flush, and told them that I arrived from the Sinnoh region, and that I was here to carry out a request for the Professor to try out his new pokedex.

Gary shook off his shock and instead replaced it with a confident smirk, walking over and introducing himself, to which I giggled again; causing him to blush once again, and then I asked which starter he chose, even though it had the name on the pokeball. Gary smirked and threw his pokeball into the air and out came an adorable blue turtle, who looked confused at first, but then realized that it was chosen by Gary, to which it shouted in excitement. Gary then confidently stated that it chose a powerful starter and asked if I was impressed, to which I nodded and picked up Squirtle.

I looked at him and smiled, not noticing how red squirtles cheeks got, I then put the water turtle down, much to his disappointment, and Gary returned him to his pokeball. At this time, Professor Oak noticed my keystone on my ring and shockingly asked if I had a mega evolution pokemon, which I nodded and realised Alakazam, who looked at the other two in the room. Oak looked excited while Gary looked astonished, I told them that we could continue this discussion later and that it was time for me and Gary to leave. After handing us two pokedexs, we walked out the door where lots of people were cheering for Gary and how he would become the new pokemon champion.

Gary thanked them and walked over to one of the limousines, asking if I wanted to come with him. Before I could say anything, I heard shouting behind me in the distance, and turned around to see a boy in his pajamas, running frantically to the lab. I looked at him confused, wondering why a boy was running in his pajamas, but then remembered that he was probably late, and was running to get his starter pokemon, Gary on the other hand, immediately recognized the boy and scowled at him.

He addressed the boy as Ash, while commenting on how he was terribly late, and that he got a starter before him. The boy Ash, just ran right past him into the professor's lab, Gary then looked at me and waited for his response, but I politely declined his offer, much to his dismay, and said that I would wait for him at some, and that we would meet again, but I went ahead and gave him a Xtransceiver, and put in my number so that we could communicate.

He nodded and called the cheerleaders into his big vehicle, and drove off to his first gym badge. I walked back into the lab only to hear a thundershock, and I saw Oak and Ash electrocuted by an angry looking Pikachu. The Pikachu noticed me and leaped off the table, ignoring the two he had fried earlier, and jumped into my arms, nuzzling into my chest and squealing happily.

Ash looked at me in bewilderment, and asked how I got pikachu to trust me so soon, to which I told him I have a way with pokemon while winking, to which he blushed. After Oak gave Ash all the things he gave Gary and me, he walked outside with me behind him with Pikachu in my arms, he got his clothes and bag from his mom; who asked me to take care of him. And then we set off, with Ash grumbling on how Pikachu wouldn't trust him, and instead tried to catch pokemon by himself, which always failed, as the pokemon would run away or even walk over to me to sit in my lap; to which pikachu would scare them off.

Ash finally had enough and spotted a Spearow, thinking it was a Pidgey, and threw a rock at it, which pissed it off, and started pecking at Ash. Pikachu climbed a tree and started laughing at the poor boy, while I was just standing there, letting Ash reflect on his mistakes. I heard bushes rustling, and looked behind me and saw a Nidoran male and a Growlithe, both looking at me in curiosity, I then invited them over to sit in my lap, to which they both happily agreed, and sat in my lap, snuggling up to me. Growlithe walked up to my bag and pulled out 2 ultra balls, understanding what they wanted, and caught them.

After that, I heard lots of Spearow, and then I saw a whole flock of Spearow, all glaring at Pikachu and Ash, they started running away from the angry pokemon, and I followed. After a while, I noticed a river up ahead, and called out Alakazam, and teleported to the otherside of the river, scaring a red haired girl who was there fishing. I introduced myself and she introduced herself as Misty, I then told her that my friend was being chased down by an angry Spearow, and that he probably would fall in the river and to help her get him.

Misty nodded, then she felt a large tug on her fishing pole, she then reeled in Ash holding Pikachu. Misty then walked up to the two and asked Pikachu if he was alright, Ash said yes but then got slapped across the face by Misty, her saying not you.

I simply giggled at the interaction; causing them both to blush, then Ash got up and snatched Misty's bike, saying he'll give it back later. Misty looked shocked, before I told her that Ash and me were heading to Viridian city, and ran off after Ash. I ran for a few minutes before I found Ash and Pikachu on the ground dazed, I ran up to them and told them I would get help in Viridian city. I ran to the next city and stopped when I heard a loud caw, and turned around and saw a giant rainbow bird flying towards me.

It landed a few feet away from me, and gazed at me. Hypnotized, I walked up to the majestic creature and ran my hands through its shining feathers, the bird let out a slow coo, and rested its head into the crook of my neck, it then got closer, to where I was basically cuddling with it. The bird then looked at my bag, and I knew what it meant. I grabbed an Ultra ball and tapped its head, capturing it.
