Both Y/n and Zay were returning back to Pallet Town with shopping in hand. Zay is deep to his thought for a moment when Y/n ask him.

Y/n: So how are you doing Zay?

Zay: Yeah doing alright so far.

Y/n: That's good to hear.

Zay: Just need to get use to all of this.

Y/n: I understand. But you have no worries about anything.

Zay: Right.

Soon they arrive back to Pallet Town and they enter Ash's home to drop off the ingredients do Delia. When they arrive however they see bones Yellow and Green at the kitchen and looking at something.

The two head into the kitchen and ask the two.

Y/n: What seem to be the problem?

Green: Oh hey Y/n. Guess who's back.

The two look over and to Y/n's surprise he sees Brock sitting at the cornor just sulking.

Y/n: (surprised) Brock?

Zay: Whose he?

Y/n: A friend who usually goes on a journey with Ash ans Misty before Tracey joined. But why is he sulking?

Green: Well he did made a surprise visit and we were glad to see him. However when we ask about Professor Ivy well......

Then Brock sulks more which confused the two more.

Zay: Who is Ivy?

Y/n: She is a Professor who Ash, Misty ans Brock visit. They visit her because she had a GS ball. According to Ash Broke decided to stay to help out Ivy.

Yellow: But I guess something bad happen because he's refusing to answer our question about Ivy.

Green: Oh and one more thing you should know about him. He would try to hit on girls so they can date him. I bet he tried to do the same with Ivy but didn't go well.

Yellow: Not sure. Did Ash say that the two got along great?

Y/n: Yeah I believe so.

Zay: (sigh) Well I have enjoyed of this.

Then Zay walks over then gets him up of his feet and slap him a few times. He snaps him out of it as Zay barks at him.

Zay: Listen here and listen good! Don't sulk away on a girl that may have broken your heart! Be strong!

Brock:.......Who are you?

Zay: I am Commander Zay. I am an Old Republic trooper and I will not allow anyone to feel weak or pathetic! Man up! Never let one girl put you down! Be a man!

Green: Um should we do something?

Yellow: Probably not.

Zay: You wanna to find a perfect girl?!

Brock: Yeah?

Zay: You wanna find a girl that suits you?!

Brock: Yeah.

Zay: Then never give up and keep finding a new girl who is better than any other girl!

Brock: Yeah! Alright I'm all fired up!

Brock is all fired up that was until Green ask him.

Green: So now can you ask us what abouts between you and Ivy?

Immediately Brock goes back to sulking at the cornor which Zay and Green just sigh while Yellow and Y/n just laugh a little.

(Sometime later)

At the garden we see Pathfinder helping out Mr Mime at the garden when Zay finds him and approaches him.

Zay: Hey Pathfinder you got a minute?

Pathfinder: Sure I can go for a break. So what's up? Got it problems?

Zay: Not really. I just wanna know something.

Pathfinder: What is it?

Zay: The Republic military. Y/n told me that the Republic dismantle the military years ago. If that is the case then who is protecting planets besides the jedi.

Pathfinder: Most planets have a security force or militias that can protect each of their own planets.

Zay: I still think it is stupid that the Republic would dismantle the military rather to keep it around.

Pathfinder: True but it has been thousands of years since the jedi and sith wars. Besides even if they stay can they will lose money and some within the Republic military will use this power for evil purpose. Better to be safe and sorry.

Zay: True.

Pathfinder: Still you may not worry about that. Whatever the Republic is doing is none of us business anymore.

Zay: So you and Y/n hate the Republic?

Pathfinder: Hate is a strong word. We just dislike the current Republic due to their corruption. I know it may sound uncomfortable to you.

Zay: It's fine. Besides I've began questioning the Republic before I was frozen. I join because I wanted to fight but as the battle gone by I've seen many corruption and begin to question the Republic.

Pathfinder: Well at least you no longer have to deal with that anymore.

Zay: Agree.

Pathfinder: Welp, better go back to work. Catch you later Zay.

Zay: Right.

Zay walks away while Pathfinder continues working on the garden with Mr Mime.

(Hours later)

Night came and Brock made a delicious meal for everyone and they begin to eat.

Green: Now that taste is wonderful!

Yellow: Yeah! So good!

Brock: (smile) Thanks. It is good to see you all again.

Y/n: (smile) Same to us.

Brock: So your an soldier from the old Republic?

Zay: That's right. I'm a commander.

Brock: That is interesting.

Zay: Indeed. What is even more interesting is that your a rock type gym leader and yet your here. Who is minding the gym while your away.

Brock: My father is running the gym for me. Speaking of him I might need to call him to see how things are.

Delia: (smile) I'm sure he isn't that busy taking care both the gym and your siblings.

Zay: Please I'm sure everything is fine.

Y/n: You may be mistaken commander. Brock can you show him your siblings?

Brock: Yeah.

Brock show him a picture which Zay face dropped when he sees so many siblings.

Zay: (shocked) By the force! You have so many siblings?!

Green: Yep. If I have so many siblings things it is the end od the world....for me.

Yellow: I bet they all miss you. Especially since you have been hanging out with iv-

Yellow immediately stop herself from saying her name and instead saying.

Yellow: Hanging out with Ash and Misty on their journeys.....yeah. That's I was about to say.

Y/n and Green: (thought) Nice save.

Brock: (smile) Yeah I has been a long journey. Hey how's about we visit my town and visit my family.

Y/n: (smile) That sounds like a wonderful idea.

Pathfinder: Maybe I stay here.

Green: (smirk) Why? You scared of children.

Pathfinder: You know how kids are when it comes to droids. They made you play all these games and I would really tire you down. I'm maybe a droid but I'm not programmed to play with children.

Zay: I'll come along. I'm good with kids and besides i want to explore more than just hanging around here all day.

Brock: (smile) Alright. Bet they all are going to be glad to see me.

Y/n: (smile) Bet they will.

They continue to eat then once finish they head off to bed to get some sleep.

(Next day)

Y/n, Brock, Yellow, Green and Zay make their way to Brock's home city and soon they arrive at Pewter city.

Green: (smile) Well this brings me back memories.

Yellow: (smile) What a peaceful place.

Zay: So where to now?

Brock: (smile) We can visit the gym and see how it is while I'm away.

They make their way to the gym but when they arrive Brock is shocked including everyone else as they see his gym close with a note that says the gym is close forever.

Brock: (shocked) This can't be happen. Why is it close?

Green: This must be a mistake right? There is no way they can just close his gym.

Zay: Unless there is a reason.

Y/n noticed a person walking by so he ask him.

Y/n: Excuse me sir but what happened to this gym?

Random citizen: That gym is close by the Pokemon Inspection Agency.

Zay: Who?

Yellow: Oh I heard about them. They are people who are responsible of inspect gyms and check to see that the gym is followed by the laws of gyms. Those that don't follow will close down.

Y/n: Any reasons why the gym is close?

Random citizen: The gym has violated safety rules and claims that the gym is scamming people with fake gym badges.

Brock: (angry) There is no way those are right!

Y/n: Brock please calm down. We'll try to figure this out.

Brock: (angry) Yeah by talking to my dad!

Then he make his way to his parents home while the rest follow him. Once there suddenly find his home abandon with no one inside.

Yellow: No one is in there.

Zay: Where are they?

???: Son?

They turn to see Brocks father which Brock rush over and demands him to answer.

Brock: (angry) What happen to the gym?!

???: I'm.....I'm not sure.

Brock: What?

Y/n: What do you mean?

???: I just got a letter that the gym has violated the rules and must be close. But the problem is that nothing was wrong with the gym and I haven't gotten a singal complaint about it.

Zay: That's strange.

Flint: Oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Flint and you must be Brock's friends.

Y/n: We are and we wanted to help in anyway we can. Can you tell us more what happen?

Flint: Well I was heading to the gym to start the day when I noticed a letter. Read it and it was from the Pokemon Inspection Agency. They told me that our gym has violated rules and must be shut. At first I thought this was a prank when suddenly a man came in and told me to close and that he is apart of the agency. I try to proof to him that the gym is fine but he just ignore him and told me to do it. So i did.

Brock: (angry) I can't believe this! I'm gonna get this guy a piece of my mind.

Zay: Guess we are going to this agency group?

Y/n: Yeah. Maybe it must be a mistake.

Brock: (angry) I hope so.

Flint: I'll go with.

Y/n: Alright then. Let's go and see we cam clear this up.

They head off to sort out the problem with the agency and might convince them to reopen Brock's gym.
