We see Y/n, Ash, Misty and Tracey walking through the mountain desert as they are on their way to Ash's next gym. Ash, Misty and Tracey are shown tobbe hungry and tired while Y/n is seen looking fine as he walks ahead of the group.

Soon he gets on top of a hill first and sees something which he waits on the rest which they came up and they all see a city down the hill.

Tracy: (smile) Looks like we finally made it to Trovitopolis.

Ash: Finally, I have enough of walking.

Misty: (sigh) Same.

Y/n: (smile) Well we can stop by the Pokemon Centre to get a quick bite and some rest. Once that we can find this gym.

Ash: Sounds like a plan. I can't wait.

Pikachu agrees and they were about to head down when suddenly the floor beneath them begins to crack. Within a second the floor suddenly open and they all fell into a hole.

Ash, Misty and Tracey scream while Y/n stayed calm and uses the force to slow their fall and soon they gently land on their feet and once safely on the ground they look around.

They find themselves within a sewer as they look around. Misty pintch her nose since it smells awful while Y/n looks up where they fell and said.

Y/n: Looks like we fell far. We need to find another way out of here.

Tracey: Well this sewer is connected to Trovitopolis so maybe if we follow the tunnel then we can get out of here.

Y/n: Right. Everyone follow me.

He then took out his light saber and actives it as they use his light saber as light. They follow Y/n as they walk through the sewer tunnel.

Hours gone by and they kept walking through the tunnel and searching a way out but no such luck.

Misty: Oh man I'm gonna be stinking if we keep walking.

Ash: It's kinda creepy down here.

Tracey: Huh, I realised something. There will usually be some poison type Pokemons living down here but it seems too quiet.

Y/n: Indeed. Something isn't right.

They keep walking and while walking Pikachu noticed something popping in the water which concerned him so he keeps moving and soon they find a ladder that takes them to the surface.

Ash: We found our way out!

At first they are relieved but then Y/n noticed something within the water. Suddenly something splash out of the water and vines begins to attack them.

Y/n: Climb to the surface now! I'll follow behind!

They agree and they each climb up the ladder one by one while Y/n use his saber to make the vine like thing back. Ash was the first to get up and managed to open the sewer lid.

He climb out follow by Tracey and Misty. They look down as Y/n walks back and soon begins to climb up the ladder. While climbing one of the vine things grabbed his second light saber and they disappear into the waters along with his second saber.

He realise this but continues climbing up and soon made it to the surface with the trio as Y/n closes the sewer lid, once close they all breath a sigh of relief.

Tracey: What was that thing?

Y/n: No idea but it took one of my sabers.

Misty: You gonna be okay without one?

Y/n: (smile) Don't worry I'll be fine.

???: Hey are you four okay?!

They turn to see Officer Jenny as she rushes over to them. They get up and Y/n tells her.

Y/n: We'll okay. You may wonder why we were down there.

Officer Jenny: Well you can tell me that at the station.

Y/n: Right.

(Soon)

They arrive at the police station and once there they were at first put in a holding cell which confused them but soon the holding cell open and Officer Jenny enter along with what seem to be the Mayor of the city.

Officer Jenny: I apologise for putting you four here, this is our Mayor of Trovitopolis.

Mayor of Trovitopolis: So these are the people who saw the monster.

Y/n: That is correct.

Mayor of Trovitopolis:......Officer I suggest you keep them here until my re-election is passed.

Ash: You can't do that!

Misty: We didn't do anything wrong!

Y/n: Why keeping us here after the Re-election?

Mayor of Trovitopolis: You have no reason to ask me that.

Y/n gets a bit mad as he glare at the Mayor for a moment but then Officer Jenny said.

Officer Jenny: Sir they haven't done anything wrong, plus they need to know what is going on.

Mayor of Trovitopolis: We have to?

Y/n: Is there something you need to tell us, sir?

The Mayor doesn't say anything but Officer Jenny take scheme to the mayor's office and once there she explain everything.

Officer Jenny: We have gotten reports of that strange monster that appear within the sewer. It appears this monster only steals foods left out of the open. Disbite not being a threat it concerned the citizens.

Misty: So it's not dangerous?

Mayor of Trovitopolis: No but that thing will ruin my Re-election. I can't have this creature be in there. That is why I'm closing off the sewer so it will never ruin my Re-election.

Y/n: But what about the citizens? You seem to care only for yourself and not your own citizens?

Mayor of Trovitopolis: I don't like your attitude. I run this city and nothing is gonna change that.

Y/n just glare at him which Ash, Misty and Tracey noticed but then Nurse Joy storm into the office and call out.

Nurse Joy: You can not be serious?! You can't go through with this plan!

Mayor of Trovitopolis: What are you doing here? Go back to your centre and do pokemon stuff.

Y/n: What plan?

Nurse Joy: The Mayor is planning to have a swat team to go down there and kill it.

Y/n: (shocked) What?!

Misty: That's terrible!

Tracey: You can't do that! It isn't right!

Mayor of Trovitopolis: (angry) I'm the Mayor and I'll do whatever I can to keep my reputation strong and my public image!

Y/n: (angry) That's what politics always care about. Yourself and nothing else. Your nothing but corrupt and selfish.....just like mine.

This stunned Ash, Misty and Tracey since they never seen Y/n get this mad, especially Ash and Misty. Then Y/n turns to Officer Jenny and tells her.

Y/n: Order the swat team to stand down and not go through with the plan. We'll go back down there and investigate this mysterious pokemon.

Mayor of Trovitopolis: Hold on who give you the right to tell my officer what-

Y/n: (angry) You have no right to kill something that might be innocent! If you have your swat team to help down the sewers and try to kill it, then I have no choice but to fight them.

And so he turns and leaves the office follow by Ash, Misty and Tracey leaving the Mayor angry then ever.

(Later)

Throughout the streets there were posters of the mayor along with his own emblem place underneath which Y/n sees and gets even more mad when Ash and the rest came over.

Ash: Hey you alright? You were a bit mad back there.

Y/n:......(sigh) I apologise for that. I never despise politics, especially those who are corrupt. It reminds me about the Republic and their government.

Tracey: Surely it wasn't that bad right?

Y/n: Your wrong. You have no idea how corrupt the Republic Senate were and how their actions lead to the clone wars. But before then....they force the jedi to do acts that is against the jedi code and made us more like police than peace keepers. The jedi used to be an order to maintain peace but when the jedi join the Republic.....things changed. You have no idea how it feels for having your entire order change because of the politics of the Republic and how it change the jedi.

Tracey: I'm...I'm sorry.

Y/n: You don't have to apologise. But we have to focus on the situation by finding out what this pokemon might be.

Ash: But how? All entrance to the sewer is closed.

Y/n: Perhaps maybe one isn't.

Soon they arrive by the sea where they found a sewer tunnel sticking out. There was metal bars blocking their entrance so Y/n use his saber and cut the metal bars.

Once done Ash, Pikachu and Y/n enter and look around. Misty and Tracey stick out which Y/n tells them.

Y/n: If you two wish to stay out then I can't blame you. We'll be out soon.

Tracey: Okay.

Misty: Stay safe.

He node and so Ash, Pikachu and Y/n begin their journey through the tunnel while Misty and Tracey stay behind. They look around but there was no sign of anything and while they walked Ash ask Y/n.

Ash: Hey see about your order? Why can the order just leave the Republic?

Y/n: I could've but they told us that they needed to protect the Republic from the sith. But I believe in deep down.....the Republic will just label them as traitors and try to eliminate them.

Ash: Why? That doesn't seem fair.

Y/n: That how the Republic is. They rather kill those who wants to leave or force them to stay so they can flex on their power to the galaxy. Their actions lead to the Separatist being formed and the beginning of the war. They say it was the Separatist but really.....it is their own fault.

Ash: So you sympathise with the Separatist?

Y/n: Yes and no. I do sympathise it's citizens and understand what they have gone through by the hands of the Republic. But.....their actions is unforgivable, they were also lead by a sith who was.....Once a jedi....he see how corrupt the Republics government was and probably still is.

Ash: And you never thought to side with the Separatist?

Y/n: I rather not choose either side. I wish to bring peace, not to take part of a war. We may have fought against the sith years ago but......that was in the past.

Pikachu was ahead of them and so he turns a corner and finds something and calls Ash and Y/n over. The two rush over and turn a corner and find Y/n's second light saber.

They approach it and Y/n picks it up and checks it and sees it still works.

Y/n: Looks like this pokemon was here.

Ash: But where is it now?

Y/n thinks about it for a moment when he felt something and quickly turn around while he turn on his light saber and they were faced by vines against.

However Y/n lower his saber and they are surprised to see a bulbasaur. Y/n deactivated his light saber and kneel down and pet on the bulbasaur.

Ash: So it was a bulbasaour this whole time?

Y/n: It seems it. It must have use its vine wipe to grab foods from the surface.

Ash: Make sense but why is it down here?

Then Y/n noticed something wrapped around Bulbasour  neck and he sees it to be a bell with a same emblem from the Mayor's posters.

Y/n: I think I know.

(Later)

We see a large crowd gathered as we see their Mayor making a speech in front of his statue and telling everyone.

Mayor of Trovitopolis: People of Trovitopolis I have been your mayor for 10 years and I have brought order and justice to this city. This new mayor doesn't know what to do. Re-elect me and our city will continue that way for years to come.

Random citizen: What about the mysterious monster from the sewer.

Mayor of Trovitopolis: Do not worry, i have sent a team to eliminate it. The creature has been dealt with.

???: You mean this one?

Then the crowd turn and move out of the way as Y/n approaches the mayor with Bulbasour which confused the crowd however the Mayor immediately recognise it as Y/n gets on stage.

Mayor of Trovitopolis: (surprised) I know this Bulbasour. I have this Bulbasour since I was a kid. I thought I have-

Y/n: You thought your abandon it and leave this poor pokemon to die in the sewer? This was your own actions! None of this would never happen if you haven't abandon it!

The crowd gasp with shock while the Mayor looks at the crowd and then Y/n turns to the crowd and tells them.

Y/n: This man not only abandon his own pokemon but he willing to kill it disbite not holding a threat to anyone! Do you wish to have a mayor that only cares himself and not the wellbeing of others? Or do you wish to have a mayor that truly cares for this city and the citizens here?

The crowd begins to agree which shocked the mayor ans soon he gets mad snd barks out for his swat team.

Mayor of Trovitopolis: Arrest him! Arrest him now!

The swat team rush up on stage and surrounded Y/n which wasn't haven't it so he use the force to lift the seat team off of their feet and tosses them away.

This shocks everyone included the Mayor as he turn and ran but Y/n summons Leo to block him while he walks over to the mayor.

Mayor of Trovitopolis: You can't do this! You should be listen to me! ME!

Y/n: (angry) I don't take commands to politics like you.

He reach to his light saber without him knowing while he glares at him with anger within him. But then he noticed Ash, Misty and Tracey behind Leo and looking at him with concerned.

He realised he nearly cross the dark side and stand down. He turn and make his leave while the crowd begins to boo on the mayor which ruined his reputation and his image as he quickly leaves.

(Later)

The posters of the mayor as well as the statue was torn down as we cut to Ash, Misty and Tracey waiting out side of the pokemon centre for Y/n.

Soon he came out and he turn to the rest and he inform them.

Y/n: Nurse Joy will take care of Bulbasour. Maybe one day a trainer will take him.

Tracey: That's good to hear.

Misty: But what about you? Are you okay?

Y/n looks down for a moment and then tells them.

Y/n: I nearly tapped into the dark side because of my hatred towards those who abuse their power. Seeing him acting a hungry powerful man, I've be reminded how other citizens are living out their worse lives because of their senators and their politics. I wished to go back what the order was originally was before the Republic but....I know that will never happen.

They fall silent and then Y/n continued.

Y/n: You know.....I'm glad you guys are here with me because if weren't for you lot....I would go down a dark path.

Misty: (smile) As long you have people to protect, you'll never fall to the dark side.

Y/n: (smile) Yeah.

Ash: So what now?

Y/n: I believe the gym is on a nearby island. We need a boat to take us there.

Ash: (smile) Awesome! Let's go!

Pikachu: Pika Pika!

They walked away but Y/n noticed one of the Mayor spotted still stuck on the wall. He rips it off the wall and tossnit within a trash bin and once he did that he keeps walking as they head off to Ash's next gym.
