Hello everyone and welcome back to February's contest! Our current contest format is slightly different from previous contests. We will go more in detail down below.

Expectations, rules, and the entry submission process are still the same (To submit an entry, please PM us the title and the word count of the entry). We will vote on your entry to indicate that your entry has been accepted; it will then be added to our February reading list.

Since February is the shortest month of the year, the entry due date will be on the midnight of March 2nd according to your designated time zone.

There will be only three placements, no ties, and the rest honorable mentions. Remember, we will be judging entries solely on quality, originality, and structure. Please refer to the Q and A book if you have any further questions and comment down below if you are interested in joining!

And last but not least—themes!

Each theme has been matched with a Pokémon evolution line/ Pokémon pair and a random location on the Pokémon map! If you choose to write about that theme as your entry, all Pokémon must be included, but they do not have to play a prominent role in your One-Shot. The same goes for the location.

Please note that human characters can be included.
