"Now that you have chosen your starters, here are your Pokédex and 6 pokeballs." Professor Cherry said as she gave them 1 Pokédex and 6 pokeballs, they each took it and put them in there bags. "Let me guess, we have to catch every Pokémon in the world?" Jax asked sarcastically, "Well... I don't want to force you kids, I think it might be hard for you guys. It's fine if you want to but it's ok if you don't." Cherry answered, "Oh I forgot to give you these."

She then gave them a device for there Pokemon, " Put these on your Pokémon, I made these myself!" She told them. The three put the devices on there Pokémon's arms, wondering what they do.

"They ain't working you coward!" Boar said out loud, they looked at him with shocked. "....Why are you people looking at me like tha- oh shoot I can talk..." He continued. "Professor how was that possible? How can Boar speak? What did that device do?" Tyler asked, "The device allows a Pokémon to communicate with humans, it also has meters to show your bond between your starters." She answered.

"Oh wait I don't think we got there pokeballs..."Della Said, Cherry faced palmed. "Oh right... mostly I'll have the starters outside there pokeballs, I just don't want them cramped in there for too long until a trainer comes." She replied, "Starly where the pokeballs?"

'Starly!' A Pokemon replied, it was holding three pokeballs with marks on the front. It then dropped it onto the trainers heads a flew down onto Cherry's arm. "Ow! Why did you do that?!" Jax yelled, Starly giggled. "Well we should get going, I think it's time for us to get out there and catch some Pokémon." Della Said, 'ding!' They heard a pokeball ring, it came from Jax.

"No fair! did you catch one of the Pokémon here?" Della asked, "Of course I did, I caught my Patrat like I promised I would." He asnwered, "Wait you had a Patrat with you all this time?" Tyler asked, "Of course, now stop asking questions, I need some more teammates." Jax said as he walked out of the lab, "Hey wait, we are traveling together!" Della replied as she ran towards him, "Err.... Bye professor, bye Starly." Tyler said as she walked away, 'Abra!' The abra held on to Tyler's arm, "Aww... Sorry abra but I don't think I'm able to take you sense-" "You can take him." Cherry said as she cut her off, "Wait really?" Tyler asked, "Yep, you two seem to have a strong bond. I don't want to break it, you can keep him, he's yours to train with and become a well companion." She answered.

"Oh my gosh! Thanks professor!" Tyler said happily, she then took out a pokeball and gently tapped it onto Abra's head. The Pokémon went into the pokeball, it shook exactly three times. "Yes! I got it! I'm so happy, thanks professor!" She shouted happily as she ran out the door.

"Guys wait up! I caught abra!" Tyler shouted, "You what? No fair!" Della complained. "Well it seems fair to me." Jax said, "At least someone agrees with me on this, why don't you catch your oddish?" Tyler asked, "U-Uh well... I.... I lost her... I don't know where she is..."Della answered scratching the back of her head, "Ohh... well let's see if there any Pokémon in the first route you can catch, how does that sound?" Tyler asked, "Ohhh....ok I guess." Della answered.

They began walking towards the first route, as they got there they stepped into the tall grass and started looking around for some Pokémon, "Hmm... oh I think I see a aimpom over there." Tyler said pointing to the Pokémon, "Wait hold on, I don't want it to get away!" Della replied running. The aimpom looked around the field for food, it seemed that it was on a low lvl.

"Ok Pearl, use scratch.... lightly.." Della commanded, "Yes master." Pearl replied, she quickly ran behind it and scratched the Pokémon. Aimpom fell, its hp was on the red. "Ok, now for the catch!" Della, quickly threw a pokeball at it. It hit the Pokémon, as aimpom went inside it, the pokeball shook.

One..
Two..
Three..

"Yes! I caught it!" Della said happily, she then grabbed the pokeball and held it close. "Good job Della." Tyler said, "Thanks, maybe I can get past the first challenge in Pokemon contest." Della replied. "Wait your going to enter a Pokémon contest?" Jax asked, "Yep! I think the host is the guy from kalos, I wish to win... hopefully I can.." Della answered.

"Come on let's keep going, there might be more trainers and Pokémon over there." Jax said walking away, "Hey Wait up!" The two yelled as they followed him. The three trainers passed the first route, there were no more Pokémon there except that aimpom. But it seemed there were some on the next route.

"Strange... why aren't there any other Pokémon, it's like saying the route was abandoned." Della asked, "My dad said something bad happened here, pretty much when I was born." Tyler's answered. "Wait really? Wow.... what happened a Darkrai cursed your home?" Jax said. Boar giggled.

"Hey Darkari is a good mythical Pokémon! How dare you say something about it!" Tyler shouted, "Wow you like Darkrai? So your saying you like a Celebi, Mew, the weak Pokemon?" Boar said, "Hey they are wonderful Pokémon!" Della argued.

"Guys your scaring the other Pokémon...." Boa said, there were lots of ruffles in the grass. "Guess you have a good point Boa." Tyler said. "Yeah, also how about that abra? It freakin only knows teleport, how are you suppose to battle with it?"  Jax snarled. Tyler was mostly offended for what he said.

"Hey! Your trainer right? Let's battle!" Said a girl coming this way, "My first target...perfect." Jax said with a evil grin. He send out Patrat while the girl sent out a flamingo looking Pokémon, "Florata!" It said. "Wait Jax don't-" Tyler said as Della covered her mouth, "It's too late, just let Jax do his thing.." she said. "Wait but-"

"PATRAT TACKLE!"

' THUD'

"Flor...." The small Pokémon said as it fainted, "Uh.... here...." the girl said as she gave money to Jax. "Thank you, next trainer here a come!" He said as he ran off. "JAX!!! Dude he is so evil right now...." Tyler said, "Yeah... I'd seem him as gengar because of this.." Della said.

"Let's uh... catch up..." she said. "Good idea..." Tyler replied as they ran after him.
