I found myself back in my room in the academy. I stared at my ceiling, hearing Xavier yelling at someone outside my door. I looked to the side and saw Shauna appearing over my view with a smile on her face.

"Morning sleepy head!" I sat up, wondering how I got here "Did you sleep good?" She picked up a bowl of oatmeal from the dresser and spoon fed me all of a sudden. I questioned her, but didn't say anything.

"Yeah..." I said "what's going on out there?"

"X is yelling at the holy nurse. Don't worry about him"

"What? What for?"

"She refuse to take more of his blood for your treatment. I was certain you didn't really need it, but he wanted to make sure you have enough so this won't happen again"

"What exactly happened?"

"I don't know, you tell me" I didn't have a answer "so what? You made dad worry about you and you don't even have a reason why?" I made him worry? "The same thing happened when you and X left the badlands. Only this time, you weren't screaming in the middle of the city" I held my chin to think, and then I looked at my pinky.

"My blood promise"

"What?"

"Mom and I made a blood promise a long time ago to never look too deep into her memories. Since she's the first vampire to live, she had a lot of memories. From what I remember, I was drawing a picture of some things, and she made me promise to never remember those things again. Whatever triggered me must've made me remember something" the front door open, letting in Augustine and X. X ran pass him to hop on the bed and wrap his arms around me. I smiled and hugged him back, missing his warmth.

"Yannie! You got me worried all over again!" He frowned.

"I'm sorry" I kissed his cheek and cuddled into his shoulder, feeling his body heat and heart increase.

"It looks like the blood bond triggered the same thing again" Augustine said. X questioned what that was.

"It's a pinky promise vampires make in order to keep secrets. It works by cutting your finger for it to bleed and share each other's blood. That promise makes you swear to whatever you promised. Making a promise like that is taken seriously, you'll have to commit to it" I explained.

"What if you want to remove the promise?" Shauna asked, thinking about it.

"Isn't it cruel for your mom to make you swear on something you can't control?" Xavier asked.

"It's not like she expected me to run away from home" I shrugged.

"I had detected that whatever triggers you has to do with the 3,000 year old legend of Kalos that has to do with the king" Augustine suggested. I hummed.

"Were we talking about that?" I asked.

"You can say we got into a subject Lysandre was talking about after talking about your father" I tried not remembering whatever happened that time just in case "It's better to not talk about it. Lysandre knows better now. It's for your sake" I nodded.

"Thank you for taking care of me" I took the bowl Shauna was holding "I'm fine now. Hopefully something in that subject of whatever triggers me won't come up again" I ate my food.

"I better get back to work. When you're able to, I like to talk to you down in the dungeon about the two Team Flare grunts and another young lady who is waiting for you" young lady? "She followed me from Lysandre's café, revealing to me that she was a vampire and that she wanted to help you" a girl working at the café? That girl? The one who I met in Glittering Cave?

"Sure" he walked out. I looked at my friends and assured them that I was fine and ready to get moving again. To be sure that I was actually feeling better, I was taken to go see the Holy nurse for further examination.

"You seem to be doing good, so it's fine for you to go back to work" she said without looking at me.

"Can you please just let me give her more of my blood?" Xavier said out of nowhere.

"She doesn't need your blood right now. She's fine on her own. If I see any kind of wound on you, I'll make sure you get another punishment" she knew that his wounds heal if I take something from him, but she didn't want him cutting himself for my sake even if I didn't need it right now.

My body was getting use to just needing his blood every once in awhile. I haven't felt weak since the power plant mission, and that only a few days back, I think.

"Don't worry" I patted his shoulder "I'll let you know when I need something"

"And I recommend to only give her blood if she really needs it. Your health is important too, young man" the regular nurse crossed her arms. Xavier nodded.

"Yes ma'am" he sighed.

"Come on. Dad should be waiting down in the dungeon" Shauna said.

"Where are Trevor and Tierno?" I asked.

"They're in Laverre City. We got reports that Team Flare had kept some people prisoner in the Pokéball factory so that they can steal some Pokéballs for whatever reason" I frowned.

"We should head there as soon as possible" Xavier waved his hand.

"This is Team Flare. They won't attack, remember? They don't need a hunter. But we'll be there soon." right... we headed down to below the school and faced three vampires patiently waiting on some chairs with Augustine watching them from inside the glass room.

*We're here, August" I said, looking at the grunts right in front of me "so these are the ones who were captured" I looked at the girl "and that one was the one that told me and Xavier what Team Flare was planning back in Glittering cave" Xavier leaned over.

"Oh yeah, I recognize her a little" Augustine turned on the speakers to talk to them.

"Each one of you had taken a royals blood either by mouth, just injection, and volunteered" he said to them. Volunteered? "I had confirmed by her highness here that no matter how much she tried making you obey, you simply will not. Today, I like to perform a exorcism"

"Really?" I asked.

"They made it clear that they still don't care if you were a royal vampire. They simply said that they only obey their leader. Well, the girl is a different story. I don't know much about her. She came at the same time you were brought here. I couldn't really understand her much" he let me speak through the microphone. I looked at everyone, especially the girl who volunteered to be here.

"Stat your names" the boys just looked at me, not saying a thing. The one I recognized as the the one guarding the power plant door started biting his hand "Hey, stop that!" He didn't listen, wearing a distress look on his face. I sighed, needing to know if a exorcism is necessary. I turned to the girl looking down while eyeing me.

"You" she looked up and stood for me "You work for Team Flare, don't you?" She looked down and slowly nodded "Will you tell me why? Does this organization want to find a way where only they can be happy?" She looked uncomfortable to answer. I guess I should take it slow "How about we start with something less complicated for you. What's your name?"

"My name is Bell" she stated perfectly "It's nice to meet you" she held her chest "I had taken a vile of your blood from this gentlemen next to you, and I would like to say that I would be honored to follow you" she bit her lips "but I can't"

"Why not?" The boy grunts looked uncomfortable "Where are you from? And what made you join Team Flare? How did it start? Please answer with whatever you feel comfortable telling me" she nodded. I felt someone entering the dungeon. I glanced over to see the holy nurse and Lilith entering the room. I ignored them and put my eyes on what I cared about more.

"I live here in Lumiose city as a waitress for Lysandre café. I remember being here before..." she looked around "I don't remember how I got here before, but I was walking through the dark streets to find a human who needs help in exchange for blood" she's a low income vampire then "Next thing I knew, I was taken here and accused of attacking someone. I swore that I didn't and I never hurt anyone. I don't remember much, but the next thing I knew, I was wearing red with other vampires" she held her chin "I can't even recall what I use to do before I joined the Team Flare" I looked at her eyes trying to find a answer. I sighed and stepped away.

"I want to put pieces together, but it's too soon to tell. We need to get them on our side if we want to make things easier on us. We can't have Team Flare interrupting what I'm trying to accomplish"

"Shall I perform the exorcism now? Or will you?" Augustine asked. I let him do it so I can observe everyone and see what happens.

"Do you think they really need a exorcism?" Xavier asked, leaning on the wall.

"They're not violent. Exorcisms are only done for wild vampires and removing bonds" Shauna said "it wasn't about bonds until you showed up" I crossed my arms, staring at the Augustine performing it on Bell while the boys were turned away.

"If that's the case" Lilith walked up to me "If they're not violent or anything, it's probably psychological" she held her chin "Something must be hurting them emotionally or mentally or something that they can't do what you want them to do"

"You think it's psychological?" I asked. She nodded.

"It could be. I had read that vampires would go wild if they lost in battle, or against a human to be more specific. There's not much information on how vampires think, but their minds must be set to a certain degree. If these three aren't violent, something may still be blocking their minds" my eyes widened "I'm having a lot of fun learning so much here... if it wasn't for meeting you, I wouldn't have decided to come here"

"Why is that?" She smiled and hid her hands behind her innocently.

"Because I wanted to understand how vampires operate. After all this time of thinking vampires were monsters, I met you" I frowned "I found out you were a vampire after eavesdropping on your argument" I knew she was listening "but I learned you were King Danny's daughter, so I'm a bit confused" I pet her head.

"I love to explain, but now is not the time. What you told me gave me some pointers. Thank you" I smiled. She smiled brightly. Augustine came back to the room, closing the door behind him.

"I couldn't do anything" I nodded and walked into the room, removing my contacts "Serena?"

"I don't think we need an exorcism, we need something that good for nothing idiot did"

"Who?" I ignored him and faced the three staring at me.

"You won't get nothing out of me! You heard me?!" The grunt who attacked Xavier glared at me, twitching a lot. The one who guarded the power plant door started biting his hand again, nervous. The girl frowned at me, shaking. I stood in front of her first and placed the bottom on my palm on her forehead. She froze and started at me.

"I never removed a hypnoses before, but I'll try my best. How did you break yours? At least part of it?"

"I broke my hand back in Glittering cave... things became more clear to me..." I nodded and closed my eyes, enchanting something that makes me hope will work.

"Reverse what you were told..." I whispered "You will open you eyes and follow the path you were meant to walk through" I got really tired all of a sudden. Saying a few more things, I removed my hand and looked at Bell widening her eyes again and cupped her mouth.

"How do you feel..?" I hoped for a good answer.

"I remember now... he called himself a Holy hypnotist" I looked back at Augustine and the others shocked. Lysandre... "he got us to follow him and try to find a way to awaken the Ulimate-"

"That's enough" Augustine said "I will have you interviewed later. I can't have you saying anything that might hurt Serena" I was confused "Please come this way and the Holy nurse will escort you all to a safe place in the academy with Serena's other followers" they have a place here in the academy?

"Right then. We can finish this later" I looked at the others glaring and shaking "Be careful" Bell stood up, bowed, and jogged to the door. After another successful run, I got my three followers back from Lysandre's hypnoses. The holy nurse escorted my followers out while me and my friends planned on leaving to help Tierno and Trevor.

"Serena?" Augustine called me. I stopped and looked at him frowning "Do you think you're related to Lysandre?" I looked at him confused "Do you remember when I told you he came from royalty? He's the descendent of the old Kings younger brother" he quickly lifted his hands "Don't worry too much about who they were. I don't want you getting another episode" I nodded, understanding "This story originated 3,000 years ago, and the only royal I know from back then is Diantha and the ancient king. Do you think... You know, because of Diantha?" My eye twitched.

"My mother became the first vampire in the world. Once her body changed, so did her blood. I am not related to him now or ever will be, but who is there to say we use to be?" I furrowed my brows "I don't know what king he was talking about, but I could care less about Lysandre. He means nothing to me" I waved "I recommend you to never discuss anything with him again. He can't be trusted"

"It makes me sad to know that he's behind all this, but I believe you'll have no problem dealing with it" I nodded, looking at my pinky.

"I better go" I put a smile back on my face to lighten the mood "See you later! And thanks again" I waved and ran back to my friends waiting for me.

"There you are" Xavier smiled "Ready to go?"

"I actually really want to talk to my followers, but I can save that for another time. We need to help the boys deal with those vampires" we ran off to take a bus to Laverre city, since it'll be faster than on foot. I was disappointed that we didn't get to explore the route heading there, but our friends needed us more.

I stared out the window at the dark forest we were driving through, finding it to be a bit eerie with its gravestones everywhere "What a creepy place..." I stated.

"Do you believe in ghost?" Xavier whispered in my ear. I flinched and looked at him "It is said that there's a house around here that's haunted by an old man who brings in company when they pass by" I got chills.

"H-Haunted..? You mean dead... people?" He chuckled.

"Are you scared?" I-I wasn't until he mentioned it! "I use to think that vampires were part of the undead"

"Of course you humans would think that. That's just a story vampires made up" Shauna stuck her tongue out. Xavier sweatdropped.

"Yeah, I know that now" I giggled, waiting for the pass few hours to arrive to the city. I ended up falling asleep on Xavier's lab the entire time, strangely feeling tired after reversing the hypnosis from my followers. In no time, the bus stopped at the bus station in a glorious city filled with traditional sceneries!

"Wow!" I pressed my hands on the glass.

"Come on, you won't get to see much still in here!" Xavier laughed at me. I followed him off the bus and immediately got overwhelmed with the scent of human blood everywhere...

"W-What is-" I gagged and pinched my nose "what is this place..?" It's so beautiful, yet it crawling with this smell!

Shauna walked around, looking uneasy herself. She had looked a bit worried while we waited for the bus and was quiet the entire time coming here "Shauna?" She looked at me "What is this place?"

"I knew about this place for a long time. Is a place humans call 'the city of otherworldly dreams' but it's also a place vampires call 'the city of bloody nightmares"
