I was sticking my fingers into a bowl of honey Trevor gave me while on our way to a place I wasn't paying attention to the name of. I was too busy admiring the route around me.

"You're getting messy, Serena" Tierno laughed. I looked at my shirt and saw that I had honey all over it. I blushed embarrassed and looked at Xavier handing me a wet cloth he soaked over at a water fountain near by.

"Here, clean yourself with this" He smiled sweetly. I thanked him and cleaned my face before cleaning my shirt.

"Sorry, Serena. I should had probably gave you a spoon" Trevor chuckled.

"No problem. The honey is really good. Thank you for thinking of me when getting it" I smiled. He seemed to turn a bit pink before looking back at the road "Why are you guys calling me Serena now?"

"Well, I guess you can say a nickname is good to use to get along with someone better, instead of just calling you by a letter" Tierno explained "The headmaster had told Sina and Dixio that was your name, so can we use it? It suits you a lot" I giggled.

"You're already calling me that. I don't really mind" I looked at Xavier looking at his holocaster "Why aren't you calling me Serena?" He looked at me and smiled.

"I like your name as Yannie. It's the name I first use to get to know you. Our code name is another thing, and the nickname is cute for your human form, but I like Yannie, because that represents all of you" I smiled more, feeling happy that he said that. He knows exactly what to say to make my heart throb.

"That's sweet of you" I froze when feeling him take my chin and lift it to look at him leaning close to me. I jumped and closed my eyes, not knowing what he was going to do "W-What are you-?" I gasped when feeling something soft and wet flick on the side of my lip. He licked something off my face and leaned away with a satisfied look on his face. My face burned in embarrassment.

"Hey!" Shauna shouted and jumped him to pound on his chest, in which she had no success from how short she was and he pushed her away by pressing on her forehead "What do you think this is?! We are all here, you know!?" Xavier just chuckled while I fanned myself to cool down "you can't just touch on a girl like that! You pervert!"

"I just took off some honey from her face" he laughed.

"You should use your finger or say something!" She continued to try to pound him.

"What's the big deal? We already kissed before" I flinched. Shauna and the boys looked at me surprised. I cupped my face to avoid being stared at.

"What?!" They all screamed. I glared at Xavier.

"Hey! Don't make it seem like it's still okay!" I pouted "Shauna is right! Y-You should had told me!" He stuck his tongue out amused.

"What's the fun in that?" Shauna groaned and chased after him into a lovely looking town. I hurried to chase after them and caught myself admiring my surroundings.

"Wow..." I gasped and ran up ahead from the boys still with me "It never seems to change how excited I get whenever I see a new town! I haven't seen much, but this is a exciting moment!" I turned to the boys "Is there a mission we have to do here?"

"There is" Trevor looked at his holocaster "There had been a vampire attack over at a route farther from Camphrier town, which we are in" he looked around "It's quite famous for its castle. Tourist come and go to see this castle, but I heard it's pretty empty now"

"Wanna go see it, Serena?" Tierno asked excitedly.

"Not really" I said honestly.

"Really? I thought girls would be into castles and princess stuff" I nervously laughed. If they only knew...

"Well, when I was locked away from the world, I mostly cared about leaving the tower. You know that story, right?"

"Oh! Right! You're like the princess with the long hair! I remember you use to have a lot of hair before" Trevor said "And your prince finally came to save you" I blushed and turned away, holding my cheeks.

"Y-Yeah..." I smiled and looked at Shauna jump kicking Xavier's back, finally reaching him for doing what he did. I blushed a bit more and looked around the town, eventually seeing a castle on a top hill with trees all around it..

Being a princess is a girl's dream... What they don't know is that princesses spend their time having to stay away from anything that may interfere with their projects and such. I was kept away because I existed, but my mom does a lot as queen... If I was allowed to be known, what would my life be like..? And what would it be like if I just waited in that room..?

"Serena?" Tierno waved his hand. I came back to earth and looked at him "You okay?" I smiled.

"Yes, of course! I'm just admiring the view"

"Well, we can't enjoy much right now. We have to find this place where the vampire attack took place" Trevor looked at his device. Xavier and Shauna came back after their little fight "At route 7, there's a palace that's rumored to have the owner owning a vampire" I held my chin "That doesn't sound right"

"If anything, that sounds like it would be the other way around!" Shauna said "we should go there and investigate"

"Investigate something that we only believe to be a rumor?" I asked "I mean, isn't that a police's job?"

"Most likely, it is. Police only take care of human situations while anything involving a vampire threatening a humans life is for the hunters" Xavier explained "Trevor is now a Scholar, which means it's his job to take emergency calls for a job we are assigned to do. We are asked to come here to investigate. Nothing too serious yet"

"Oh! That's cool!" I said "So this isn't a emergency call? It's just a investigation? What do we do when we meet a vampire who is actually the owner?"

"It's illegal for a vampire to have human workers of any type if they're not following the employee safety code. It's not really a problem if the vampire is kind like you, but we were asked to investigate, so that's not a good sign" Shauna told me "What's worse, if a vampire is caught enslaving a human, that's our job to handle" I slowly nodded and looked down. Human servants...

"Y?" Xavier calmed "You alright?" I looked up and forced a smile.

"Um..." it's not easy to lie to him "Let's go find this palace already" I took Shauna's hand and ran around, not knowing where I was going. I knew everyone was following me and calling my name, but I couldn't help but think of... her.

"Layla..." it's been so long since that day I left the castle. I wonder what happened to her body. That's all I could think about while I was running to nowhere.

I slowed down after my brain was responding to everyone yelling at me. I looked back at everyone out of breath. Out of breath? Even Xavier? How long was I running?

"Hey, are you okay?" Xavier frowned, walking up to me. I nodded, not waning him to worry, and looked at my surroundings. We weren't in town anymore.

"Where did I lead us?"

"The place where we needed to be" Trevor said, putting his device away. We looked ahead at a path with a sign stating the route we were in was indeed route 7.

"How did I bring us here?" I tilted my head confused, staring at the long path of trees with a presence I knew best. Xavier held my shoulders from behind me.

"Do you feel anything?" I looked at Shauna and nodded with her.

"There's definitely some here" I confirmed "but just because there's a vampire present, will we have to attack? Not that I defending them, but we don't have proof that anything bad had happened"

"Don't worry too much!" Tierno winked "It's just a investigation for now" I took a deep breath and let it out. This is my first assigned hunt... as a specialist. I'm sounding pretty stupid for asking all these questions.

"Ready?" Shauna smiled. Xavier walked in front of us while Tierno stayed in the very back. Me, Shauna, and Trevor were in the safe spots between them if the two of the fighters catches a attacker.

I peaked to see everyone so focused. Not that I didn't think this wasn't a serious situation, but everyone was over the top cautious and watching every corner. I took out a hoodie from my bag that Shauna got me in Lumiose, and decided to put it on.

"Are you cold?" Shauna asked. I shook my head, feeling better to wear a hood over my head since we might be running into some vampires that might make an impact on my appearance if they looked at me long enough.

"There's the gate" Xavier said, glaring at the large gates with a security box beside the opening. We walked up to the security guard before noticing there was a sign that stated we needed to pay a fee for however long we're going to stay.

"A fee?" I questioned.

"You have to pay to come in here?!" Shauna gasped.

"This is how the rich gets richer..." Trevor sweat dropped. I looked at the security guard just sitting there, waiting for something to happen.

"What do we do..?" I asked a bit nervously "I don't have any money to pay for myself" Xavier looked at me and smiled.

"Don't worry about it. I told you I'll pay for whatever for you" I don't really like that logic. I want to have some money of my own so that I can pay for my own food and stuff. I eat more than everyone here.

The boys went over to talk to the guard. Shauna took my hand, grabbing my attention "Hey, master" I sweat dropped and pretended I didn't hear her "I mean... Serena?" That's better "Do you think the guard is a vampire?"

"I won't suspect everyone to be a vampire, Shauna. I'm not close enough to really tell" I looked at the guard "but he's not wearing contacts, so he must be human"

"Good point" I shrugged and looked up at the large mansion in front of us "Are you okay?"

"I guess" I later smiled at her and looked at the guard refusing to let us in, even if we were licensed hunters and crafters. He was a human with determination.

"You need to pay a fee to enter the palace" the guard said, getting more frustrated at our pushing. Tierno looked at me not really caring at the moment. My head was still wrapped around Layla.

"Hey Serena" he whispered to me "Think you can use your skills to convince him to let us in for free?" H-huh..?

"He's a human" I stated, then shook my head when that didn't matter to him "I'm not the one who called myself a specialist" I frowned "I don't know how to Hypnotize people on purpose, if that's what you're trying to get me to do"

"But you're so good at it with vampires. Why can't you do it to humans?" I'm a princess of vampires. My royal blood takes command of those who were hand created by my mother and the Elite four from half living human corpse. I didn't make any vampires, but I hold the blood of the one who did.

"I never tried it on humans" I looked away "Please don't make me. I don't feel like having anyone look at me right now" I turned my body away. I could feel everyone looking at me. I hugged myself and tried calming down, but it was a bit hard.

"Okay, Nevermind" Tierno said "I didn't mean to put you on the spot" that's not what it is, but I'm glad I don't have to be involved right now. I'm a bit of a mess at the moment.

"Look" The guard said, now angry "If you don't leave right now, I'll be forced to call back up-" he flinched when I turned to look at him. His face immediately went red for some reason "O-Oh..." he stood and leaned on his desk "Hey, are you related to someone famous?" I jumped and got a bit freaked out. W-What?! What kind of question is that?!

"H-Huh..?" I stuttered. My friends were staring at me again "W-W-What makes you think that!?" I started biting my nails. Xavier smiled for some reason and turned to the guard.

"She doesn't like pictures, if that's what you want" X-Xavier!! What are you doing?! "Her mom is a celebrity, but sadly she won't tell me who" he suddenly looked like he just realized something and snapped his head at me. H-He didn't put two and two together when I interacted with my mom.. right? "Why does that matter to you?" He asked the guard.

"We are always open to bring in all kinds of important people. If you're related to a celebrity, would you mind telling-"

"The public doesn't know about me!" I shouted, overwhelmed "so it's none of your business!" I looked at Xavier and glared "Don't put me on the spot like that!"

"Wait-" I ran off without listening to them yell for me and nearly ran into a tall figure in fancy clothing. I gasped and looked up, seeing a man in a white suit and slicked back hair. His skin was gray and he smelled of blood and death. I fell back and crawled back, terrified of what I was looking at.

"Y!" Xavier came to take my shoulders. I paid no attention as my eyes were glued to the man smiling down at me. I wanted to scream and run away from him, but I was stuck on my spot and couldn't move.

"Hello there" The man kneeled down to greet me and Xavier "Sorry, did I scare you?" I felt a sweat rolling down my cheek. I gulped and took Xavier's hand to help me get back on my feet. The man offered his hand to me as well, in which I shook to keep myself from looking afraid. I never expect to see anything like him anytime soon... he's more disgusting than I thought. The smell on him was bad enough to make me gag, but the scent is so old that it didn't make me vomit for some reason.

"Pleasure to meet a beautiful young woman such as yourself" the man smiled. I kept my eyes on him and gulped hard to relax my nerves. He then looked at Xavier and my friends "It's nice to see young folk come to explore my mansion. Gus, will you open the gate? These kids are good to come in" he laughed "they probably don't have the money to come in" I knew my friends got upset over that comment. I looked at my hand still in the man's hand "I would love to escort a lady to come see my mansion. Would you like a tour?" I looked at my friends uncomfortable faces when I was in the hands of some stranger. We have a mission to do, so I'll agree to what this monster wants.

"It'll be a pleasure if you could show me and my friends around. If you don't mind" I said.

"Very well" he let go of my hand and walked ahead "please do follow me and I will show you my beautiful palace!" I hugged my arm while looking down at the hand he was holding. It's so filthy... a disgusting man... a hand made monster.

"Yannie?" Xavier patted my shoulder to get my attention. I gagged a bit and covered my nose, looking at him frowning at me "Whats wrong?"

"He smells strong of blood... I had to hold in my reflexes" he looked over at our friends following the man glancing at us from time to time.

"Is he a vampire?" I gulped and bit my lips, nodding "do you think he attacked someone to get that smell on him?" I covered my eyes "Yannie?"

"It's his blood... his human blood"

"His what?" I looked over at my friends and the man waiting on us. I took Xavier's hand and squeezed it, looking at the man's original brown eyes.

"He's... a hand made vampire"

"Hand made?" I nodded.

"Hand made vampires were created from a human body by the queen and Elite four" I gulped "they're called Dulicates who carry vampire blood, but wears real human eyes from their past life"
