Chapter 7 Part 2 | Patiences

Kai had sat by Kaiser's side ever since the incident when they gotton back, he mostly come over the Shurikens' house to keep an eye on him or quietly chat, despite not getting a response from him. During the past few days Kaiser hasn't woken up ever since the incident with the Ursaring and the destruction of part of the forest, still no one had a clue what or caused such destruction. Zero and Sinzo did their best to explain the situation but decided to keep it on the down low until it was appropriate for to everyone to learn the truth.

Kai was that the small table, making another card for Kaiser. A Decidueye, an orange Lycanroc and a Pikachu were watching while his parents were running errands with their trainers.

"Finsh!" Kai said putting the crayon beside him.

The Decidueye leaned over and gave a soft smile, "The a nice card, Kai." He said patting his head. "I'm sure your friend would like it."

Kai gave a small smile in return, "Thanks Uncle Wern...I just hope he gets better soon."

"He will! Just have to be patient." The Lycanroc said, keeping his chin on his fore paws.

"Patient?" Kai repeated. "How can I patient if Kaiser hasn't woken up in the past few days?"

"Well, Kai," The Pikachu said, "He need some time to wake u! Everything takes time."

Kai blinked before looking at Wern, "Like how Uncle Wern took time to get with Aunt Mari?"

"YEP!" The Lycanroc barked laughing as Wern's face got red, causing him to pull the string, drawing in his hoodie to hide  his face, which madw the Lycanroc laugh more. "Took him long enough too!"

"Shut it, Stone!" Wern graoned under his hoodie before wacking a pillow into his face, "Why come after me? What about Thunder and Yumemi or Zero and Flare! But laugh at me!?" But Stone just kept laughing as Thunder rubbed the back of his head.

"Okay besides- Actully your dad is a pretty good example. Your dad is one of the calmest people here." Thunder said sitting down next the Kai.

Kai blinked for a moment. "Like when he's sitting down somewhere away from everyone else?"

Thunder gave a chuckle. "Well, that's because he's meditating which helps him to collect his thoughts!"

Kai looked down at the card that he made for Kaiser. His heart sunk when he remembered that Kaiser didn't woken up for the blast or hours after the event, he was worried about him ever since. He was getting a bit impatient of waiting for over a long period of time, the only time he had wait was taking family pictures, which was annoying but it made their mother happy and they were memories. Shade has be assuring him that Kaiser would be okay soon, even Zero kept updating him on Kaiser's situation but it was the same answers every single time.

Kak sighed before looking at Thunder, "Can I go play outside until mommy or dad gets home? I think some air."

The Pikachu nodded, Kai put his card on table and headed outside, leaving Wern, a laughing Stone and Thunder in the living room to themselves. Once outside he looked around to doing something to take his mind off the situation but nothing came until he heard a voice calling out to him.

"Hello Kai!"

Kai turned his head around to seeing a Sylveon waving its feelers as a greeting towards him.

"Hi, Auntie Yumemi!" Kai greeted as hopped over to her.

The Sylveon's smile turn into a worry look when he came closer. "Still worry, aren't you?" Kai just gave a nod and sat down besides her.

Yumemi warpped a feeler around him, pulling him closer to comfort him. "You know Kai. Your mom and dad had to be patient too."

Kai looked up at before turing to the cabin, seeing his parents turing. "Really? What do you mean?"

Yumemi gave a chuckle, "Well, they had to wait for years to finally be together again. Your father had to stay behind in Kalos to deal with the evil roots..."

"In his Ash-Greninja form? That's what Uncle Thunder calls it." Kai questioned.

She nodded, "Yep! Even after so many years even when they reunite they still had to be patient!"

"How come?" Kai asked,

"Well~! Your parents both had a crush on each other when they were younger,  maybe around your age. Even a few years back before and your brother were born or gotten married, they were both still shy. Your father even act a bit goofy when she was around or spending time together," Yumemi said giggling. "Well, that's what Thunder would say!"

Kai blinked in amazement and a bit of shock too. He turned around to see his parents had finally came back from running errands who were now cuddle together as they talk.

"So, who told first?" Kai asked facing Yumemi again.

Yumemi glanced to them bit before facing, "Probably your father. Your father, has been taking her out to dinner sometimes and I guess after having some alone time, I guess he asked her, and pop the question after sometime has passed when they were dating."

"Wow," Kai exclaimed, "That must have tooken a long time! Especially for the both of them."

Yumemi smiled and giggles. "And now you know. If they can be patient, then so can you."

Kai thought for a moment to himself before giving Yumemi a smile. "Thank Auntie Yumemi."

"Anytime!" Yumemi said, gently booping his nose with one of her feelers.

Kai let out a giggle, "Speaking of feeling...Do you like Uncle Thunder?"

Yumemi froze with shock as her face went red, as she started to stuttered. "W-well...N-no...Uhm....Why don't you play with parents." She quickly said trying to cover up her stuttering.

Kai snickered a bit and nodded as he made his way to his parents. Now all he has to do is to be patient until Kaiser woke up, which could be any day now.
