Chapter 1: Dream
No POV

It was early in the morning, most people and pokemon were up working, training or just laying in their beds still. Sinzo and Flaire were still curled against each other after another day's hard work, mainly because of their children. Just as they thought they were going to get some peace and quiet....their room door opened.

The small figure squeezed through the crack door and made's way towards the both of them. It climbed up onto the bed, and sat there, facing them.

Kaiser: Mama? Papa? Wake up!

His parents groaned and yawned as they curled up more to each other, wanting some more sleep.

Flaire: Kaiser....mommy and daddy are exhausted still. Can we sleep for a little bit longer?

Kaiser: But you promised! You promised we'll go see Riverdiamond and get ice cream! For all of us!

Sinzo: ....... *opens an eye to look at the clock* Son, it's past 7 in the morning. Can it wait?

Kaiser: But you said 'We'll meet her at 8 o'clock.' It's 7:45!

Both parents didn't think of it first but soon they both jolted up to get a better view of the clock, Kaiser was right. It was almost 8 o'clock. They immediately got up, and quickly yet still half a sleep into their bathroom to freshen up.

Kaiser: *sighing, shake his head*

◇Timeskip- Outside the Cabin◇
3rd POV

The Shurikens walked through the town to get to their destination. Kaiser was very excited to meet Riverdiamond for the first time ever since he was born, mainly because of his brothers mentioning her a few times.

They continued walking until they stopped near the battlefield. The younger Shurikens were about to question their parents until a bright colorful Greninja appeared in the middle of the field out of nowhere.

River: Hello, Shurikens.

Flaire: Hello River! I'm so glad that you can come.

River: I wouldn't miss the chance to see your new addition! Where is the little one?

Kaiser leaped out of his mother's arms into River's. Riverdiamond giggled as she nuzzled him, getting him to chuckle.

River: What's your name, little one?

Kaiser smiled proudly.

Kaiser: Kaiser Shurikens!

River: Kaiser...it suits you well. When I met your parents, they said you have a dream?

Kaiser: *nodding cheerfully* Yeah! I want to be a great performer like my papa! I want to be just like him!

Sinzo blushed with embarrassment but a rush of thrill and pride went through him. Riverdiamond laughed at the sight before setting him down.

River: Well Kaiser, you have one amazing dream. So don't let anyone stop from achieving it, alright?

Kaiser: Yes ma'am.

Riverdiamond smiled as she praised him with a pat on his head. The Shurikens all waved their goodbyes to her and went on their way. She watched them leave as a figure floated behind her.

????: So? Why did you want to meet him?

River: Because, I see something in him.

????: Like?

River: *shrugs* I don't know yet but I see something. I'll just have to wait until he grows.

The figure just nodded to her understanding. Riverdiamond leaped on its back as they disappeared within a flash.

◇Meanwhile with the Shurikens.◇

Flaire and the kids were sitting down enjoying their meals as Sinzo went to browse the stops, mainly to get a malasada.

Flaire: Kaiser. Do you really want to become like your father?

Kaiser:  *nods* .....Is that wrong?

Flaire chuckled as her head shooked.

Flaire: Nothing wrong with that. You can be anything you want, and if you want to be like your father. I'm not going to stop you.

Kaiser smiled. Soon Sinzo came back with a box of malasadas and a gift box, everyone knew he loved malasadas so they weren't surprised but the gift box was a bit confused.

Asher: What's in the box, dad?

Sinzo: It's for Kaiser. I had to pick up your surprise today. Go kiddo, open it up.

Without hesitation Kaiser dug into the giftbox, removing the wrapping paper from inside. After getting all of the paper revealed a cream-colored stuffed bunny with a crown on its head, Kaiser's eyes filled with joy. He pulled out the bunny and hugged it tightly.

Sinzo gave a big smile to his son, loving his gift. Kaiser immediately hugged his father as he was still holding the stuffed animal. Sinzo hugged his son back as the smile was still on his face. Flaire smiled at her husband and son, watching the two bond together.

Sinzo: Say about we go to the park someday? You'll meet new people.

The kids all looked at each other before nodding towards the father.

Sinzo: Then we better get home. Don't want to be tired if we do go there.

They nodded as their parents guided them home back into the cabin after they finished eating. Kaiser was riding on Chaser's head as Asher walked beside them.

Kaiser: I can't wait to go to the park one day!

Chaser: Yeah, I know you're excited.

Asher: A little too excited.

Kaiser rolled his eyes and kept thinking about making friends at the park. Something was about to happen....
