Chapter 13

The Under Water Orb

The waves crashed against the shore and withdrew over and over again. Wingull screeched as they flew over my head. I had arrived here with Preston and Jase. We were waiting on Cress. A Flygon land in front of us with our friend on its back.

"Sorry for being late," he apologized,"I'm still getting used to flying."

We all walked down to the beach. Giant boulders surrounded the waters edge. Preston flipped through his X-Transceiver.

"This should be the place," he said looking up from his device.

"So the orb is under water?" Cress asked.

"Yep." I said.

"Okay," Cress said, "first of all no skinny dipping and second of all does anybody have a water type?"

"Shut up, Cress nobody was thinking about that and yes I do have a water type but he just hatched." I said.

"Do we have any other leads other than it being under water?" Jase asked.

"It's in some cave," I said. I threw Blue's Pokeball in the air. The ball opened up and he came out with a shimmering light.

"Blue, can you find a cave down there?" I pointed to the sea. He nodded and dove under the water. We waited patiently for him to return. To my relief Blue popped his head out of the water. I ran to the waters edge.

"Did you find anything?" I asked.

"Mud, Mudkip, Mudkip!" He said in reply. By his tone I believe he found something. Jase dumped his backpack and started into the water. I discarded my jacket and we all dove in.

My sight slowly adjusted to the water. Blue lead us to the bottom of the water. I started to recognize my surroundings from my dream. Blue brought us to a massive cave. He jerked his head towards it and we followed him into the cave. Blue swam to the bottom of the cave. He tried pulling something out of the sand. I swam to the object and picked it up. The orb!

I was running out of breath. Blue pointed deeper into the cave. There must be some air pocket here. We followed him to the air pocket and pushed ourselves up to the surface. I gasped for air. Cress had a hand on the wall as he coughed up water.

"I got it!" I shouted as held up the orb. Everyone cheered.

"Excellent." Said a familiar voice. I turned around to see Zero. The crook I tried to fight in Petalburg Forest. He stood on a massive landform with other members of The Order of Darkness. Behind him was a hooded person with an Alakazam. Zero pointed a gun at my face.

"Would you care to dry off with us?" Said the hooded man. He had an old, dry voice. I looked back at my friends. Preston nodded for us to follow. We got up on land and I returned Blue. I didn't want him getting hurt.

"Surely, Ryker told you who I am." The man said.

"You must be Sithis." I said.

"Correct, my dear. Now I don't want anyone getting hurt. So please give us the orb." Sithis said.

"No way!" I said. Zero put the barrel of the gun to my forehead and held out his other hand.

"Now I don't want anyone getting hurt. Just hand over the orb and we will leave. Don't do anything reckless." Sithis continued. I started hard at Zero. I smacked the gun out of his hand and sent out Vulpix. Blue would have to learn to battle sooner or later but, this was dangerous and not a good way to learn. The others sent out their Pokemon. A few Order of Darkness members started to battle Cress and Jase. Zero and another man sent out their Pokemon against us.

"Golbat, lets go!" Cried the other man.

"Houndoom, prepare to battle." Zero said calmly. The black canine growled to try to intimidate Vulpix. Vulpix isn't afraid of anything.

"Go, Laireon!" Preston called out.

"Golbat, Wing Attack on Vulpix!"

"Dodge!" I yelled. Vulpix jumped up in the air. "Now use, Fire Blast." Vulpix hurled the attack at Golbat and blasted it into the wall of the cave. Golbat slumped down to the floor

"G-Gobat return!" The man said pulling out it's Pokeball.

"Laireon, use Takedown." Preston said. Laireon charged at Houndoom and rammed into him.

"Houndoom, Payback." Zero said to his Pokemon. Houndoom shot a purple beam at Laireon. It hit the large Pokemon and sent it a few feet back.

"Vulpix, Flamethrower!" The attack hit but didn't do much damage. More Order of Darkness members sent out their Pokemon against us. Preston turned on his X-Transceiver.

"Ryker, we need back up now! There's too many of them! Please come down here and come prepared!"

"Vulpix, Flame Burst!" Vulpix shot a fire ball at Houndoom.

"Houndoom, Crunch!" Houndoom pounced on Vulpix a sank its fangs into her neck. She cried out in pain. We were unprepared for this. Zero and the others were too strong.

Author note: Hey, EpicAuthor01 here! So yeah it may seem short but I can't do much about that. I guess I could but I just don't want to. I'm going to be leaving for a week. Hopefully I will get some updates in before that. Please comment on what's wrong. Sometimes I don't see these things. Also please vote. It makes me happy to see people really enjoy my book.
