Ryu's POV

The first gym is Milo, he is a grass type. Phe was three Pokemon, we were on Route 4. I was challenged by an Eevee. I caught it. Phe smiled at me. I smiled at her, I moved a little and was challenged again but this time by a Pikachu. I caught it, we went to the Pokemon center. Nurse Joy took mine and Phe's Pokemon. I was buying a few potions and a few Pokeballs. Phe smiled and brought a few things, her eyes were so beautiful. Nurse Joy brought us our pokemon back. We went to the gym.

Gym Worker: welcome Challenger Ryu and Phe, who will be going first?"

Phe: Ryu"

Gym Worker: please go to the changing room and change into your uniform"

I went to the uniform room and changed into my uniform. 00 was on my leg and my back. I went to the desk and saw Phe holding Night and smiled at me. I went into the challenges room and saw a lot of Wooloo.

Referee: welcome Challenger, Milo's challenge is to lead the Wooloo to the end of the room, got it?"

: yes"

Referee: let's begin"

I run over to the Wooloo and guild them to the first checkpoint 20/20. The Wooloo destroyed the hay barrels. I started to run but I got caught by a gym trainer. She summoned a Bounsweet. I looked at Scorbunny and smiled. We won the battle. I lead the Wooloo to the second checkpoint 20/20. One more. I saw two yampers. Great, I lead the Wooloo down the middle and beat the challenge. I have to face the gym leader next. I healed Scrobunny. Grass is weak against fire type. I went to the stadium. Wow, a lot of people are here. I walked towards the middle of the stadium. Milo was waiting for me.

Milo: welcome Ryu, you ready to battle?"

: yep"

We walked to our sides of the Pokeball.  I felt my Dynamax band full up with power. I sent out Scorbunny.
Milo sent out Gossifleur.

Milo: Gossifleur use rapid spin!"

: Scrobunny dodge it and use tackle!"

Scorbunny dodge it and beat Gossifleur. Milo sent out Eldegoss. I Dynamaxed Scorbunny and smiled. Milo Dynamxed Eldegoss. Milo let me go first.

: Scorbunny use max flare!"

Scorbunny listed to me and won us the battle. Scorbunny went back to normal size and I returned him to his Pokeball. I walked over to Milo and shook his hand. Milo handed me the grass badge. I went back to the lobby of the gym. Phe was not there, was she changing into her uniform? I sat down at looked at the screens. Phe had made it to battling Milo. she was about to win but the stadium started to shake. The gym workers told everyone to go leave the gym. I was helping Nurse Joy at the Pokemon center. There were a lot of injured Pokemon and people from the stadium. I was worried about Milo and Phe. the doors opened to the Pokemon center. I looked at saw Milo and Phe. I ran over to them and hugged both of them. Milo and Phe hugged me back

: what happened?"

Phe: we were battling and this Dynamax Roserade attacked us, Night was able to take it down but the rest of my team have fainted, Milo gave me the grass badge"

Milo: Phe is right. The Roserade was really strong but Phe here is stronger"

I smiled and looked at Phe, Phe smiled at me and touched her head.

: Phe you ok?"

Phe: I jumped in front of Roserade's Poison attack"

What she is poisoned?! I gently touched Phe's forehead. She was burning up from the poison.

: Nurse Joy!"

Nurse Joy: yes Ryu?"

; my friend took a Pokemon move, she has been poisoned please help her"

Nurse Joy ran over to me and Phe, Nurse Joy took Phe to a room and her Pokemon walked over to me. Me and Milo went to the Pokemon center.

Milo: there is a way to cure her"

: how?!* I realized I yelled* sorry I'm worried about Phe"

Milo: it's okay, I'm worried about her too. Let's make that cure"

Milo pulled out a Rowap, Colbur, Grepa and Pomeg berry. Milo taught me how to make the cure for Poison. 15 minutes later we finished the cure. I went to Phe who was laying in a bed while holding Night in her arms. I walked over to her and gently shook her a little. Phe opened her eyes.

: me and Milo made a cure for the poison"

I helped Phe sit up and handed her the glass with the cure in it. Phe took a drink of it and her skin color came back. I gently kissed her forehead. Nurse Joy walked in the room and smiled

Nurse Joy: she will be able to leave tomorrow"

: thank you, Nurse Joy"

The next day, me and Phe were heading to the water gym. Phe was doing good, the cure me and Milo made helped her. We were facing Nessa next the water type gym. We made it to Hulbury city. There was a Gym worker was standing near the Gym doors.

Gym worker: I'm sorry but Nessa is not in at the moment please come back later"

: thanks"

We went to a restaurant and started eating. Phe was playing with her food

: Phe are you ok?"

Phe: yea"

She didn't sound ok. I gently touched her hand and interlocked our fingers, Phe looked at me and smiled a little.

: Phe please tell me if something is wrong"

Phe: I'm worried"

: about?"

Phe: the last time I had a gym battle I got poison"

: Phe, I will not let anything hurt you, I was not there to protect you"

Phe blushed and gently kissed my cheek. I blushed a little.

Sonia: there you two are"

: hey Sonia"

Sonia: how is the gym challenge going?"

: both me and Phe have the grass badge, Phe accidentally got Poison but me and Milo made a cure"

Sonia: Phe, are you ok?"

Phe: yes, thanks to Ryu and Milo"

Sonia: thanks good, I heard Nessa is out for a little bit"

: yea, we were going to go look for her later"

Sonia: first you should think of what Pokemon you should in battle, Fire is weak against water"

Phe: we will train before looking for Nessa"

I smiled and paid for the food. We went to route 5 and started training. My Scorbunny evolved into Raboot. Phe's yamper evolved into Boltund. We went to the gym and saw the leader was there,

Gym worker: who will go first?"

Phe: me"

Gym worker: please, go to the uniform room and change into your uniform"

Phe went to the uniform room and closed the door.

Phe's POV

I looked in the mirror and saw my red hair was down. I put it up in a ponytail. I went to the Gym worker and saw Ryu sitting at a table watching the screen. The gym worker let me in the challenge room. There were tons of pips. Red, yellow, and Blue. the Referee walked over to me.

Referee: this challenge you will need to push the buttons that match the color pipes. Ready start!"

I ran to the run button 5 minutes later I was now facing Nessa, the water gym leader. I healed my Pokemon and walked into the stadium, Nessa was standing there waiting for me. I walked over to her and smiled.

Nessa: welcome Miss Phe, you ready to face my water team?"

: yes"

We walked to the other sides of the Pokeball. Nessa pulls out a Pokeball and a Goldeen came out. I pulled my Pokeball out and let Boltund out. I closed my eyes and thought of my plan. I heard the crowd cheering me and Nessa on. I opened my eyes and saw Nessa smiling.

: Boltund use spark!"
