Phe's POV

I was playing with some Pokemon when I saw the champion Leon and a boy with red hair walked over to my mom and started talking to her. Leon's Charizard walked over to me and lowered his head for me to reach. I gently patted Charizard's head he closed his eyes and smiled.

Leon: he likes being petted"

??: are you Miss Phe?"

: yes "

??: Professor Magnolia wants to see you"

I went with them to the Professor's house.

Professor Magnolia: Miss Phe, you made it. Let's go in for some tea* we went inside and sat down in the living* Leon did you say you have something for Miss Phe?"

Leon: yes I do"

Leon threw a Pokeball and an Eevee came out. My eyes filled with happiness, the boy sent out a Scorbunny. The Eevee walked over to me she smaller than the Eevee that my mom watches. The Eevee jumped in my lap and I started to pet her gently.

??: what are you going to name her?"

: Night"

??: I like it. My name is Ryu"

Night's tail started to wage.

Professor Magnolia: Eevee likes it too. Miss Phe the reason why I asked you is. I wanted to know you want to join Ryu"

: yes, I would be honored to join you and Scorbunny"

Ryu's POV

Professor Magnolia: you two will start tomorrow. Ryu, please make sure Miss Phe gets home safely with Night"

I returned Scrobunny to his pokemon. Leon gave Phe Night's Pokeball but Night hit it away.

: I guess Night does not like going into her Pokeball, it's ok she can stay out"

Phe smiled softly and put Night's Pokeball in her pocket. We went outside, there was a Malamar standing by the gate. Phe started shaking.

: Phe are you ok?"

Phe: Malamar..."

Leon: Ryu please take Phe home, I will deal with Malamar"

I took Phe home. Phe hugged me. I hugged her back I looked at her house and saw a paper on the door.

: Phe please stay here"

I went to the door and grabbed the note.

" my sweet Phe, I will be away for a while thanks to your father. I will be at our old home for a month trying to get my mother painting back. There is some food in the kitchen you can fix for you and your Pokemon friends - Love your mom"

Her mom left her here. I went to Phe with the note and after she read it. She froze in place. I looked at her eyes. Pain and sadness. I gently pulled Phe into a hug.

: Phe, what's wrong?"

Phe: my father did bad things with Malamar. He made an army with them and before I moved here my father had two Malamars attacks me and my mother. my mom's Pyroar blocked my mom from getting hit, I was not lucky * Phe rolled up her right sleeve and I saw a cut on her arm* Pyroar tried to save me but it was caught in a battle. every since then me and my mom moved here to Galar and I started having a fear of Malamars"

: can I ask about your grandma?"

Phe: my grandma died.. the day before I moved here she bed and gave me painting but I hold to leave it at my old house"

: Phe, I'm so sorry about your lost"

Phe: thanks, Ryu"

we went inside and I started cooking. Phe was getting the dining table ready. her hair was red. her eyes were Ultramarine blue. I let Scorbunny out and let him play with Night. I show a painting in the living room. 

: hey, Phe who did that painting?"

Phe: me"

: wow, that's really good"

Phe: thanks"

it's was an Umbreon painting. Phe was really good at painting. I finished cooking for the pokemon. I placed the food in a bowl and placed it on the floor in the dining room. Night and Scorbunny started eating, I was cooking for me and Phe. Phe was working on a new painting. I smiled softly. 

Phe's POV 

I was working on a new painting. Ryu was cooking he made me happy. I was thinking about him and started painting a pokemon I thought would fit him. Ryu placed a plate on my table. I smiled and looked at the painting. a tea and the outline of a pokemon. 

Ryu: is that a leafeon?"

: yes"

Ryu gently kissed my cheek. I blushed deep red. I started eating and thinking about painting. I finished eating, Ryu took the plate to the kitchen I went back to painting. 3 hours later It was 8 at night and Ryu was sleeping in my room. I was laying in my mom's bed with Night near me. I looked at the ceiling and started daydreaming. 

-daydream-

I was running around with a little girl. she had red hair and blue eyes just like me. 

??: dinner is ready"

??: ok daddy"

I gently took the little girl's hand and went to the front door of the house and saw a man smiling. I kissed his cheek. he kissed my forehead and smiled. we went inside and I saw a yamper and a few other pokemon in the living room. the little girl let go of my hand and went down the hall to a room. the house was really big. I looked at the man and smiled softly. the man kissed me. I kissed him back. I felt his arm wrap around my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck and closed my eyes. 

-end of the daydream- 

I landed on the floor and rubbed my head, there was a knock at my door. 

: Ryu?"

Ryu: Phe are you ok?"

: yea just hit the floor"

Ryu: can I come in?"

: sure"

Ryu walked in and ran over to me, he helped me up and checked my head making sure I didn't hurt anything. his hands were soft to the touch. why does his touch remind me of the man from my daydream? his blue eyes looked just like the man's eyes.
