"I made it to the semi-finals we're doing good guys." A trainer sitting under a tree said, holding a Pokéball.

The trainer saw a group with a Pikachu walk past him and into the arena and followed them.

"Hey Tyson, are you pumped up for your battle?" A boy from asked another trainer enthusiastically.

"Yeah, I am. But I did my research on this trainer. His name is Dean, and he's one tough trainer." Tyson said to the group, making them confused.

"What do you mean?" A girl asked Tyson, confused by what he said.

"Well, he swept through all the gyms only using a Salamence, but throughout the whole competition, he's been using a Flygon." Tyson said, shocking the group about how strong his opponent is.

"Don't worry, Tyson. I'm sure you can beat him." The boy said to Tyson.

"Yeah, you didn't come this far for nothing." The girl said to Tyson.

"Ash and May are right. You don't know if you can beat this guy without trying." The older one of the group said.

Just then, the trainer hit Tysons shoulder with his own. "Sorry about that." He said and continued walking.

"Hey, wait, you're Dean, right?" The little boy asked.

"That's right." Dean said and looked at them. "I don't plan on losing." Dean said and continued walking.

"Will, Dean and Tyson make their way to the field." A voice over the intercom said as Dean walked towards the battlefield, followed by Tyson.

When they both got to the field, Dean grabbed a Quick Ball while Tyson grabbed Pokéball.

"The battle between Dean and Tyson is about to begin. Both trainers are allowed to substitute Pokémon. The battle is over when all six Pokémon on either side is unable to battle. Trainers send out your Pokémon." The referee said, explaining the battle and ordering Dean and Tyson to send out their Pokémon.

"Let's go, Sceptile." Tyson said sending out the final evolution of the grass starter.

"Tysons first Pokémon is Sceptile. Let's see what Pokémon Dean chooses." The Announcer says making the crowd cheer for Sceptile.

"Go, Kommo-o." Dean said, throwing the Quick Ball, sending out a Pokémon they've never seen before.

"What's that?" Tyson said shocked seeing a Pokémon he's never seen.

In the Stands

"What's that Pokémon?" Ash and May said in unison and held up their Poke Dex. "Data not recorded." Both PokéDex's said together shocking them.

Back to the Battle

"And Deans first Pokémon is Kommo-o." The Announcer said in awe of an unknown Pokémon.

"Battle Begin!" The Referee said letting Dean and Tyson begin the battle.

"Kommo-o Swords Dance." Dean said as Kommo-o surrounded itself with swords and began to raise its attack power.

"Sceptile Solar beam!" Tyson shouted as Sceptile launched the attack.

"Kommo-o Dodge it!" Dean shouted as Kommo-o got out of the way.

"What an impressive dodge by Kommo-o avoiding. Sceptiles Solar Beam after raising its own attack." The announcer said impressed by how fast Kommo-o moved.

"Kommo-o, Ko." Kommo-o said after getting out of the way. 

"I hear you Swords Dance one more time!" Dean shouted as Kommo-o was surrounded by swords again raising its attack power more.

Sceptile Leaf Blade!" Tyson shouted telling Sceptile to go for a close-up attack.

"Tile!" Sceptile said and charged at Kommo-o.

"Counter with Clanging Scales!" Dean shouted as Kommo-o countered the Leaf Blade and sent Sceptile flying and hit the ground hard. "Don't let up use Close Combat!" Dean shouted as Kommo-o attack Sceptile before it got up.

"What an amazing counter by Kommo-o I don't what Clanging Scales does but what an impressive move to counter Sceptiles Leaf Blade." The announcer said excitedly after seeing how Kommo-o countered Sceptiles attack.

"Sceptile are you ok?" Tyson asked seeing Sceptile struggling to get up.

"Scep. Tile" Sceptile said falling to the ground.

"Sceptile is unable to battle the winner is Kommo-o!" The referee shouted announcing Kommo-o as the winner.

"Kommo-o" Kommo-o said unimpressed by the Sceptile's performance.

"Sceptile return. Alright Let's Go Shiftry." Tyson said calling back Sceptile and sending out his next Pokémon.

"And Tyson's next Pokémon is Shiftry can he make a comeback." The announcer said making everyone erupt in cheers wanting more of the battle.

"Shiftry!" Shiftry shouted and landing on the field.

"Kommo-o use Outrage!" Dean Shouted as Kommo-o charged at Shiftry.

"Shiftry quick Shadow Ball!" Tyson shouted but was too late as Kommo-o hit Shiftry. "Shiftry use Mega kick.!" Tyson shouted as Kommo-o went to use Outrage again and collided with Shiftry only for Shiftry to get knocked back and hit the ground hard.

"What an impressive Mega Kick but it was no match for that Outrage." The announcer seeing how poerful the Outrage was.

"Shiftry" Shiftry said not getting up.

"Shiftry is unable to battle the winner is Kommo-o." The Referee said announcing Kommo-o as the winner again.

In the stands

"That Kommo-o is strong." The little boy seeing how strong Kommo-o is.

"You're right Max and those Two Swords Dances didn't help." The older one of the group said explaining how strong Kommo-o is thanks to the Swords Dance.

"Yeah, Brock but that Outrage isn't going to help Kommo-o" Ash said after Kommo-o use Outrage twice.

"Why Ash?" Max asked confused.

"You see Max Outrage is a powerful attack, but it causes the user to become confused after using it 2-3 times." Brock explained to him.

Back to the Battle

"Shiftry return. Alright Go Hariyama!" Tyson said returning Shiftry and sending out Hariyama.

"Kommo, Kommo-o." Kommo-o said clearly confused.

"And Kommo-o is left confused after that Outrage." The Announcer seeing how confused Kommo-o became.

"Kommo-o come back. Go, Latias!" Dean shouted Returning Kommo-o and sending out Latias.

"La!" Latias shouted as she flew across the field.

"He actually switched Pokémon." Tyson Said surprised that dean switched Pokémon.

"And Dean is Substituting Kommo-o out with Latias." The announcer said shocked to see a legendary Pokémon.

"Latias use Mist Ball!" Dean shouted as Latias charged up a ball of ball of mist and fired it at Hariyama.

"Hariyama dodge it quick!" Tyson shouted as Hariyama moved out of the way.

"And Hariyama moved out of the way of that Mist Ball." The Announcer said happy to see a legendary Pokémon.

In the Stands

"Where'd he get a Latias?" Max aske clearly shocked to see a Legendary Pokémon in the hands of a trainer.

"Let's see." May said and held up her Pokédex.

"Latias the Eon Pokémon  Latias is highly intelligent and capable of understanding human speech. It is covered with a glass-like down. The Pokémon enfolds its body with its down and refracts light to alter its appearance." The Pokédex said identifying the Pokémon.

Back to the Battle

"Hariyama use Dynamic Punch!" Tyson shouted as Hariyama as Hariyama charged and threw a punch at Latias.

"Latias counter with Disarming Voice!" Dean shouted confusing Tyson by the name of a move he's never heard of.

"La!" Latias shouted and letting a powerful charming cry towards Hariyama knocking it back.

"Listen to how loud that Disarming Voice is." The Announcer said covering his ears and shocked by the unknown move.

"End it with Draco Meteor!" Dean shouted as Latias charged up a ball of energy and shot it into the sky, and when it exploded into multiple balls of energy were raining down like meteors most missed Hariyama but three hit their mark.

"Hari." Hariyama said not getting up after getting hit by the Draco Meteor.

"Hariyama is Unable to battle the winner is Latias!" The referee said declaring Latias the winner.

"That was one powerful Draco Meteor the most powerful Dragon type move." The announcer said impressed by how powerful the Draco Meteor was.

"Hariyama return, you fought hard." Tyson said and grabbed another Pokéball. "Alright go Donphan!" Tyson said calling out his new Pokémon.

"And Tysons next Pokémon is Donphan." The announcer said after seeing the Donphan.

"Come back Latias!" Dean said calling Latias back into her Fast ball, then grabbed an Ultra Ball "Get ready, Here comes Palkia!" Dean shouted bringing out a new Pokémon that's never been seen before.

When the Pokémon appeared on the field it let out a powerful cry scaring Tysons Donphan.

"And Dean substitutes Latias with a legendary Pokémon from Sinnoh region." The Announcer said shocked to see a legendary Pokémon from a different region.

In the Stands

"What's that Pokémon?" Ash asked and grabbed his Pokédex "Data not recorded." The Pokédex said shocking him even more.

Back to the Battle

"Donphan use rollout!" Tyson shouted as Donphan ran towards Palkia, jumped and tucked itself in to resemble a tire and started rolling towards Palkia.

"Palkia blast it back with Hydro Pump!" Dean shouted as Palkia shot a powerful stream blast of water at Donphan knocking it back and fly passed Tyson.

"Don." Donphan said not getting up after getting hit.

"Donphan is unable to battle the winner is Palkia!" The referee said declaring Palkia as the winner.

"Donphan didn't stand a chance it got taken out in one hit." The announcer said to everyone.

"Donphan return, dont worry my friend. Go Metagross!" Tyson said returning Donphan and sending out Metagross.

"Palkia return." Dean said calling back Palkia. "Come on out Kommo-o!" Dean shouted sending Kommo-o out once again.

"Kommo-o again." Tyson said shocked to see Kommo-o again.

"Tysons next Pokémon is Metagross while Dean substitutes Palkia with Kommo-o." The announcer said after seeing Kommo-o for a second time.

"Kommo-o use Swords Dance!" Dean shouted as Kommo-o was once again surrounded by swords and raised its attack more.

"Metagross Bullet Punch!" Tyson shouted hoping to take down Kommo-o.

"Meta!" Metagross shouted and hit Kommo-o who was unfazed by the attack.

"What?" Tyson said clearly confused by what he was seeing.

Kommo-o is unfazed by that Bullet Punch." The announcer said seeing Kommo-o push Metagross back.

"My Kommo-o is strong he but he's also stubborn, even if I told him to dodge, he wouldn't. Now Kommo-o Close Combat!" Dean said explaining why Kommo-o didn't move out of the way and ordered an attack.

"Kommo-o!" Kommo-o shouted and let out a relentless attack on Metagross.

"Metagross use Psychic!" TYson said and used its psychic power and lifted Kommo-o off the ground.

"And Metagross stops Kommo-o in its tracks with Psychic." The announcer said after seeing Metagross stop the Close Combat.

"Kommo-o!" Dean shouted worried about Kommo-o. "Wait what are you doing?" Dean said seeing Kommo-o charging an attack.

"Ko!" Kommo-o said letting Dean he's finally learned the one move he's been practicing on.

"Alright. Kommo-o Draco Meteor!" Dean shouted as Kommo-o shot a ball of energy into the sky before Metagross smashed Kommo-o to the ground. When the ball was high enough it exploded into multiple balls of energy raining down like meteors again hitting Metagross.

"Looks like Kommo-o finally learned Draco Meteor. Now Kommo-o end it with Close Combat!" Dean shouted as Kommo-o got close to Metagross before it could recover and unleashed a furry at attacks once again.

"After a powerful Draco Meteor Kommo-o followed it up Close Combat." The announcer said after seeing Kommo-o follow up with Close Combat after using Draco Meteor.

"Kommo-o!" Kommo-o shouted and with one final strike knocked Metagross to the ground. 

"Meta." Metagross said not getting up from the attack.

"Metagross is unable to battle the winner is Kommo-o!" The referee said declaring Kommo-o as the winner.

In the Stands

"Tyson don't give up!" Ash shouted trying to let Tyson know he still has a chance.

"Yeah, Tyson you can do this!" Harrison Shouted doing the same thing ash was doing.

Back to the battle

"Metagross return, you did good. Go Meowth." Tyson calling back Metagross and sending out Meowth.

"And Tysons final Pokémon is Meowth." The announcer said after tyson sent out his final Pokémon.

"Do you want to keep going Kommo-o?" Dean asked Kommo-o not wanting to overuse him.

"Kommo-o." Kommo-o said clearly bored after beating Metagross.

"Ok. Return Kommo-o." Dean said calling back Kommo-o. "Let's go Altaria!" Dean said throwing a Level Ball.

"Altaria!" Altaria shouted ready to battle.

"And Dean substitutes Kommo-o with Altaria," The announcer said after Dean called back Kommo-o and sent out Altaria.

"Meowth use Thunderbolt!" Tyson shouted as Meowth launch electricity at Altaria.

"Altaria Dodge it." Dean shouted as Altaria flew out of the way.

"And Altaria dodges that thunderbolt." The announcer said as Altaria moved out of the way.

In the Stands

"That Altaria is so pretty." May staring at Altaria mesmerized by its beauty.

"Yeah, but it's a different color then what an Altaria usually looks like." Max said confused by how Altaria looks.

"Yeah, but it's wearing a necklace." Brock said looking at the strange necklace Altaria is wearing.

Back to the Battle

"You ready Altaria?" Dean asked as Altaria looked back at him.

"Taria." Altaria said happily letting Dean know she was ready.

"Alright lets show them our bond." Dean said touching the Key stone on his Mega ring. "Now Altaria Mega Evolve!" Dean shouted shocking everyone as held his left arm up as his key stone and Altaria's mega stone began glowing.

"Altaria!" Altaria shouted now appearing in its mega form.

"What just happened?" Tyson asked clearly confused by what he was seeing.

"What happened did Altais just evolve." The announcer said staring at Mega Altaria. 

"This is Mega Altaria, this evolution is only temporary, but Altaria is going to do just fine." Dean with a smile as Altaria began doing a little dance.

In the Stands

"That Altaria is even prettier than before." May said with hearts in her eyes just staring at Altaria.

"If that evolution is only temporary then it clearly won't last for the whole battle." Ash said hoping Tyson still has a chance to win.

Back to the Battle

"Altaria spin around and use Dazzling Gleam!" Dean shouted confusing everyone by what he said.

"Altaria!" Altaria shouted and started twirling around and using Dazzling Gleam.

"What's does Altaria seem to be doing?" The announcer said confused by Altaria was doing.

"Meowth use Thunderbolt!" Tyson Shouted and Meowth fired its Thunderbolt attack at Altaria but the attack couldn't get close enough to Altaria. "What's going on?" Tyson asked clearly confused.

"Meowths Thunderbolt doesn't seem to be reaching Altaria at all." The announcer said seeing Altaria using a move in a creative way to deflect the Thunderbolt.

"Spend some time in the Sinnoh region where Pokémon contests are really popular you tend to pick up a few things." Dean said remembering his short time in the Sinnoh region where he saw what Altaira was doing in a Pokémon contest.

"That's enough Altaria now use Draco Meteor!" Dean Shouted as Altaria began charging up energy.

"Altaria" Altaria shouted and fired a ball of energy into the sky, then it exploded rain down like meteors and Meowth tried to dodge but got hit by one.

"Looks like only one of those Meteors managed to hit Meowth." The announcer said seeing meowth dodge all but one of the meteor.

"Meowth use Shadow Ball!" Tyson shouted and Meowth fired a shadow ball at Altaria.

"Altaria dodge and use Dazzling Gleam!" Dean shouted as Altaria dodged the Shadow Ball and covered itself in a bright light and fired it at Meowth. 

"Meowth get out of there!" Tyson shouted but Meowth was hit before it could dodge causing an explosion.

"Altaria got out of the way of that Shadow Ball and countered with another mysterious attack." The announcer said not knowing of the unknown attack.

When the smoke cleared Meowth was laying on the ground and wasn't getting up.

"Meowth is unable to battle Altaria is the winner, so the winner is Dean!" The referee shouted declaring Dean the winner of the match.

Dean then touched his key stone and Altaria turned back to normal, he then took out the Level Ball and recalled Altaria into her ball, and walked up to Tyson who was now holding his Meowth.

"Hey, Tyson you did great." Dean said looking at Tyson.

"Return Meowth. You know you're a powerful trainer Dean." Tyson said getting up and holding out his hand.

"You know you're the first person to actually make me substitute Pokémon. I mean it was because of Outrage but still I substituted Pokémon." Dean said to Tyson and shook his hand.

"Now that you mention it, I guess I did make you substitute Pokémon." Tyson said as Dean walked away from the field.

After Dean left the field, he walked to the Pokémon center to heal his Pokémon that had battled in the match.

"Let's see if someone can give you a challenge. Huh Buddy." Dean said looking at a Pokéball he was holding.

Dean then made it to the Pokémon center he walked up to the counter and saw on a tv screen another battle was going.

"Excuse me, Nurse Joy." Dean said getting the woman's attention who just walked into the room with her Chansey.

"Yes, can I help you?" Nurse Joy asked Dean as she walked up to him.

"I'm here to get my Kommo-o, Latias, Palkia, and Altaria healed up for my next battle." Dean said placing a Quick Ball, a Fast Ball, an Ultra Ball, and a Level Ball on a ball tray giving them to Nurse Joy.

"I'll get them healed up for you." Nurse Joy said taking the four balls from Dean.

Dean then turned his attention to the tv screen and saw two trainers battling but one trainer wasn't doing anything making Dean look away from the tv.
