This is a story about our protagonist, and his name is Ace. He's 17 years old and an orphan who lived in a world of superpowered people, where 99% of the population possessed superpowers while the 1% of it doesn't possessed any superpowers.

Sadly, Ace is one of those 1% populations that doesn't possessed any superpowers and because of that, he became a victim of bullying and discrimination by a lot of people.

Ace also has a dream of becoming a hero, its the thing that he writes about his dream during his time in high school, but everyone including the teachers finds that his dream is stupid and they said to him "How can a powerless person becomes a hero?".

But Ace just ignores them and said something that makes them quiet, he said "If you truly are a future hero, then why did you prevent someone from becoming a hero? Isn't that a hero's job to help others, what all of you said its not helping others but hurting others, just like a villain".

Everyone in class went quiet including the teacher, Ace then grab his backpack from his chair & left the classroom without saying anything.

After leaving the school with a satisfying look on Ace's face, suddenly he's attack by an unknown assailant from behind where they stab him from behind. The assailant whisper to him that, he is a mistake and decided to kill him as an act of mercy.

Everyone who witness it are shock and surprised, some are even screaming in horror when they witness Ace being stabbed. When the assailant saw a lot of witness, they quickly ran away into the shadow.

All Ace sees are lives flashing before his eyes, at least he can live the life he wants to be and after that everything went dark for him.

In the Afterlife

Ace now found himself in the afterlife, where right now he's right in front of the being called The Presence himself.

The Presence show sympathy towards Ace for dying at a very young age, but Ace reassure him it was okay and now he can either go to heaven or hell now.

But the being had another idea, where he offers Ace a second chance in life and so the Presence show him where Ace will be in.

Ace is fascinated and interested about that world, especially the creature that live alongside the human in that world. The Presence said that the creatures are called Pokémon, where they are a mysterious creature that holds a lot of mystery in that world.

It makes Ace even more interested, he saw that people live together with their Pokémon as both friends and families, some are working together and some are using them for battle to test their strength. But he also witness at the screen, there's a Pokémon poachers too which makes Ace disgust when seeing them, but they were quickly stopped by the authority and their Pokémon.

But Ace just accept it, no matter what world he will ended up there's always good and bad in all of world.

With determination, Ace accepted The Presence's offer to go to the Pokémon world and then he opened the portal for Ace. But before Ace walks into the portal, the Presence then said after he entered the portal, Ace will never learn about his past and become a person with an unknown past.

Ace reassure The Presence that he's gonna be okay and he also thank the being as he walks into the portal to the Pokémon world, where he will start new adventure as he will make new friends and meet new people including Pokémon in his new life.
